Commercial Break Thunderstruck vs. Arnie Goldstein The muscled fan favorite rookie gets in another good showing and wins the match with a bearhug/belly to belly suplex. Commercial Break Iceman Parsons w/Jackie vs. Tommy 'The Tidal Wave' Jammer Jackie and Iceman taunt Jammer but once the bell rings, Jammer wastes no time in taking it to Parsons. Jammer's all over Parsons with hip tosses and dropkicks. Jammer back drops Parsons and as Parsons staggers up, Jammer hits a sunset flip 1..2..Kick Out. Jackie gets on the apron and yells at Jammer. Jammer goes towards her and yells back. Parsons gets up and sends Jammer through the ropes with a forearm blast. Parsons distracts the Ref as Jackie blasts Jammer with a forearm and hurls him back into the ring. Parsons hammers down on Jammer, swings him to the ropes and clotheslines him down. Parsons follows with a fist drop from the middle ropes 1..2..Kick Out. Parsons executes a vertical suplex, then hops on the turnbuckles and crashes down with a fist drop 1..2..Kick Out. TCB put the boots to Jammer. The fans cheer as the Rock n Roll RPMs hit the ring and unload on TCB. They stereo dropkick TCB out of the ring. Parsons staggers up as the RPMs double dropkick him through the ropes. Jackie's going nuts and screaming at the RPMs as they help Jammer up. The RPMs are back and ready to rock! Commercial Break Jumbo Tsuruta/Mr. Saito and Shinya Hashimoto vs. Clyde Putnam/Samson Smith and Todd Rooney This Japanese Trio have been making waves in the AWA and tonight they're extremely rough and stiff. Hashimoto's chops are brutal. Saito puts his suplex arsenal to work and Jumbo finishes things off with the powerbomb! Nothing but impressive. Commercial Break El Canek vs. Trent Watkins Canek returns from another successful tour of Mexico and looks reenergized and refreshed. He military press slams Watkins down and follows with a body splash for the win. Commercial Break Scott 'Flash' Norton w/Ted Arcidi vs. Lyle Garrison Norton blasts Garrison with a clothesline, picks him up and powerslams him over for the win. Arcidi says Norton's going to be the next AWA world champ because there's no defense for his power and strength! Commercial Break AWA 6-Man Title Bout Austin's Idol (JW Storm/Ricky Santana and Gary Young) w/Austin Idol vs. The Tribal Nation and The Missouri Tiger Austin Idol comes to ringside to make sure everybody knows he's back. His Idols proudly hold up their titles while laughing and antagonizing their opponents. The Idols look lost in the first few minutes as the Tribal Nation takes turns chopping them all over the ring while Tiger puts his power game to use. The Tribal Nation double suplex Santana as Tiger follows with a jumping knee drop 1..2..Young and Storm break it. We get a pier six brawl. The Ref gets control. While he backs the Tribal Nation to their corner, Storm and Young double clothesline Tiger. The Idols control the next segment. During the chaos, Chris has Storm up for a suplex but Idol reaches in and trips Chris. Storm falls on top. The Ref runs over and counts as Idol holds Chris's leg 1..2..3!! BOOOOOOO Austin's Idols retain! Commercial Break Nelson: Fans, as you know, tomorrow night the War Games will take place at the St. Paul Civic Center. Saying there will be a lot of hatred in that match would be an understatement. Let's take a look at several events that led up to this match. We see all the highlights. The Horsemen attacking Hulk Hogan in the cage and injuring his leg. Tully Blanchard making a surprise appearance at WrestleRock to help Ric Flair defeat Hulk Hogan for the world title. We see Tully Blanchard sling shot suplexing the Magnificent Muraco onto a chair to help Flair retain. We see the Enforcers attack Dick Slater and Ron Garvin in a parking lot, slamming car doors into their hands. We see Slater, Garvin and Muraco bust up the Horsemen's car with led pipes to get some parking lot revenge. We see Shawn Michales appear at SuperClash and superkick Kerry Von Erich's head into the steel post. We see Tully Blanchard weasel his way out of the SuperClash stipulation by attacking Muraco with a steel chair. And of course we see all the SuperClash world title chaos between Hogan, Gerry Morrow and Ric Flair. We see last week's crazy brawl with the returns of Muraco and Von Erich. As everybody just saw, this has been months in the making. AWA Commissioner Magnum TA said there was no other way to solve this. It all happens tomorrow night in the WAR GAMES!!!
  3. I got a good laugh at Horace slamming the poor ring crew member. I'm liking this character build You have to have celebs at WrestleMania and Willie Nelson's a big one to get the event going It didn't take Debeers long to start some trouble I'm looking forward to seeing what's next for Jake. Whatever it is, he'll make it good Funk's right, that's how Manny and Bart should settle things. I hope Tito watches his back at SNME Spivey vs. Brown with the Slick stipulation is definitely a Mania match Good showcases for Haku, Valiant, Genius and Haynes Bundy and OMG as the Twin Towers is an awesome pairing! With your roster, I'm sure you'll have a lot of fun putting the Mania card together. Can't wait to watch it all unfold.
  4. I love the importance put on the TV title by having an entire program dedicated to it. Tasha was everywhere and almost succeeded with the roll of quarters until Wild Dog evened things up. Awesome drama. Morton's frog splash was epic and Bruno coming out to make the count was icing on the cake. Everything was built up so well with a thrilling pay off.
  5. I'm glad you mentioned that about Colon because that was exactly my thinking. After all those wars, I felt he deserved a title run.
  6. The Clash was solid all the way through I knew it would be a wild night when the beginning is Bullet Bob being stretchered out The Freebirds have luck on their side and remain champs. Loving the slow build of the Undertaker I can't imagine the pop Dusty got tonight. Nikita has some powerful allies with the Rhodes family. This could be a wild ride Marty was full of fire but Doom put a stamp on things. Of course Steamboat and Hennig put on a classic. The US title is absolutely perfect for Hennig. No matter what, Steamboat gets his respect The battle royal was a lot of fun especially the finish. Bulldog could get a nice push from this WOW! Wasn't expecting Sid to walk out with the title but this is going to be awesome. Very nice touch with the pole from the battle royal actually costing Sting the match. Sid does rule the world! Nice follow up with new angles and programs set. The War Games will be epic! Poor Marty, if he only knew what Michales has been up too I'd pay good money to watch Doom and Demolition brawl Love the importance put on the US tag titles with several teams wanting a shot
  7. Both Nagai and Kanemoto impress Paulsen looked sharp tonight and got to display his skills Scott had spirit but Yamada's experience was just too much The tag matches get showcased and contenders are being established Damn, Shamrock got his second wind and came back hard to defeat Suzuki Ogawa gave Onita an early scare but Onita showed serious resilience to get the win Tough break for Takada but I think Funaki was on the verge of winning anyway. Funaki's on a different level right now Maeda and Fujinami go all out in the rubber match. I can't believe both men could stand after that. Maeda retains and honestly I think the fans would be up for a 4th match down the road.
  8. Watts wastes no time in getting into the pay per view game Smoking Gunns impress the fans but not the New Breed. Kaz gives Bedlam his first real test but Bedlam aces it Rookie Bagwell puts in a tremendous effort but Pourteau shows why he's the champ Angel and Abby tear it up and tear into each other. Abby's next opponent better get that fork from him LOL, loved your spot on description for the Zeus/Haystacks match. Even though it wasn't pretty I believed it served its purpose Looks like Morgan didn't have enough in the tank to dethrone Tenryu. It's Bedlam's turn now. This is the money match.
  9. The Bulldozer has some big shoes to fill but seems up for the task Blackman finally gets a satisfying win over Snow Scotty's determined to get Richards on track Vito takes down Griz but the feud between these teams is on the verge of exploding Kid was defeated by gained some valuable experience being in the ring with Martel Liger's doing his part in keeping the LHW in the main event scene Portland I'm sure Modest got a pat on the back from Finlay Gordy shows Young what he's all about at full strength Williams and Gordy might need to find some help to even up the numbers Hahaha I can see Piper going all out with the crybaby chants Maybe that piledriver will knock some sense into Richards Rose takes Busick to the limit and proves he's still a title contender Eugene Money Train bounces back Guido just keeps coming up short against Scorpio Windham reminds everybody why he's one of the best Awesome saves himself and also manages to walk away with a DQ win over Slaughter Damn, Kawada is having the run of his life Stormfront's cheating isn't enough to dethrone the FOJ
  10. I think I would go with Kurt Angle. Verne would absolutely love this guy and he would be a perfect AWA world champion.
  11. AWA TV @ The Hammond Center 2-6-91 Larry Nelson: Hello everyone and welcome to AWA Major League Wrestling. Tonight's blockbuster main event will see the immortal Hulk Hogan take on Arn Anderson of the four horsemen. In other action, Konnan will face Bobby Blaze. Kokina Maximus will make his long awaited debut. We'll also hear from the AWA commissioner Magnum TA. However, before we get to all that, I have a huge announcement. We have a new AWA International Champion! That's right, this past week in Puerto Rico, Carlos Colon defeated Stan Hansen for the International title. It's now my pleasure to bring out the new International champion, Carlos Colon. The fans give a tremendous ovation as Colon walks out wearing a suit with the International title on his shoulder. Nelson: (shakes Colon's hand) Carlos, congratulations on winning the title especially in your homeland. Colon: Thank you very much Larry. After all the wars I've been in, I was ready for another one with Stan Hansen. It took everything I had but here I am proudly holding the title. I'm so happy right now and promise to be a fighting champion. I want to thank all the fans for their support and I promise to make them proud. Colon holds up the title as the fans cheer. Nelson: Once again, our new AWA International Champion, Carlos Colon! Commercial Break TCB (Mike Jones and Bobby Walker) w/Jacquline vs. Samson Smith and Todd Rooney The former Soul Patrol definitely show a new attitude as they aggressively work over their opponents. They finish things off with a double rib breaker. Nelson: Well Jackie, your team looks impressive but I've been told that the Rock N Roll RPMs will be back soon and they're going to be gunning for your men. Jackie: Don't make me laugh Larry. If those two tin men want to try TCB then bring it on and we'll make sure they never show their faces here again. That's a fact Jack! Commercial Break AWA National Tag Champs The Heavenly Bodies vs. Trent Watkins and Harold Bannister The Heavenly Bodies look sharp and win the match with a double flapjack. Nelson asks them about their upcoming title defense in St. Paul against the former champs Latin Desire. The Heavenly Bodies seem to be way overconfident as Prichard waves his hair around while Jimmy does a giggle with his stomach. They finally say they're not worried at all because it was so easy beating them for the titles. They ham it up for the camera and show off their titles before exiting. Commercial Break Konnan vs. Bobby Blaze Konnan shocked everybody last week when he took off his mask. He comes to the ring full of confidence. The fans know that Bobby Blaze will always put up a fight and he looks ready to go tonight. Blaze starts off strong with arm drags, drop kicks, back drops and scoop slams. Konnan rolls out of the ring and regroups. Konnan comes back and works over Blaze with some hard hitting moves. Konnan almost wins the match with a boomerang clothesline but Blaze survives. Blaze eventually fires up and goes to town on Konnan. Blaze hits a snap suplex followed by a jumping knee drop 1..2..Kick Out. Blaze swings Konnan to the ropes and goes for a back drop but Konnan kicks Blaze. Blaze staggers around as Konnan grabs him and hits the Konnan Crash 1..2..3! A moment later, Blaze gets up. WHAM! The Equalizer clotheslines Blaze from behind and starts stomping down on him. Officials quickly enter the ring. Equalizer stomps and huffs around. Commercial Break Nelson: Fans, joining me now is the AWA commissioner Magnum TA. Magnum, the War Games is next week in St. Paul. You sanctioned this match and for good reason. Magnum: For the last few months, the four horsemen have caused nothing but trouble. SuperClash was the last straw. After what went down in the world title bout, Ric Flair and Tully Blanchard should've been fired along with that disgrace Gerry Morrow. However, I felt that putting them in War Games was a much better solution. Hulk Hogan wants to get his hands on Flair and he'll get that chance next week. I sure hope Tully's been training because I know he's got a big target on his back. Nelson: It all goes down next week in St. Paul. Ok, switching gears, I understand you have information on the upcoming world title tournament. Magnum: Indeed I do. The tournament will start on March 6th. I can tell you right now this is going to be big. It will be a 32 man tournament. More details in the weeks to come. I can also tell you that you will see the matches on TV throughout March and the tournament will culminate at the next pay per view Champagne Slam on April 17th. Nelson: That is big news! A monumental task to say the least. Ok fans, there you have it. The AWA world title tournament kicks off on March 6th. Commercial Break Kokina Maximus w/Sheik Adnan Al-Kassie vs. Arnie Goldstein Adnan steps into the ring and grabs the mic Adnan: It is time! Time to release the monster known as Kokina! Kokina enters the ring and stares down his opponent. The bell rings and Kokina steamrolls his opponent. Kokina picks up Goldstein and takes him over with a big belly to belly suplex. Kokina drags Goldstein to the corner. Kokina steps to the middle ropes and crashes down with a seated corner senton 1..2..3! Adnan: Nobody is prepared for Kokina! Commercial Break Nelson: Before we get to our main event, next week you'll see an AWA 6-Man title bout as Austin's Idols defend against the Tribal Nation and The Missouri Tiger. You'll also see all the highlights that have led to the War Games. Ok fans, main event time! Hulk Hogan vs. Arn Anderson w/Tully Blanchard Arn and Tully get in the ring and start antagonizing the fans and Ref. The place goes nuts as Eye of the Tiger blasts! The Ref signals for the bell. Hogan hits the ring and immediately pounds away on Arn. Hogan goes after Tully but Tully gets out of there quick. Hogan has Arn pinballing all over the ring. Hogan slams Arn and drops a big elbow drop 1..2..Kick Out. Hogan continues his onslaught on Arn. Hogan swings off the ropes but Tully grabs his leg. Hogan goes out after Tully but Tully once again sprints away. Hogan gets back in the ring but is met with a knee by Arn. Arn starts stomping down on Hogan. Arn swings Hogan to the ropes and gourds him in the stomach then follows with a knee lift. Arn suplexes Hogan 1..2..Kick Out. Arn chokes Hogan on the bottom rope and backs up to yell at the Ref. Tully runs over and slaps Hogan. Arn swings Hogan to the ropes and hits the spinebuster 1..2..Kick Out. Arn and Tully scream at the Ref. Arn spends too much time arguing with the Ref. Arn swings Hogan to the ropes but misses a clothesline, Hogan swings back and clotheslines Arn down. Hogan pumps his fists as the fans go wild. Hogan swings Arn to the ropes and hits him with an Axe Bomber! Tully gets on the apron. Hogan runs over and grabs Tully, then lifts him by the collar off his feet. Arn staggers up and runs over but Hogan moves as Arn collides with Tully. Hogan grabs Arn and executes a back suplex 1..2..3!!! OH NO!! Ric Flair runs in and clips Hogan behind the knee! Larry Zbyszko and Shawn Michales follow. Tully gets in there and everybody stomps down on Hogan. HOLD ON! Dick Slater and Ron Garvin hit the ring with fists flying. They hang in there but the numbers are eventually too much as the Horsemen regain control. UNTIL! Kerry Von Erich and The Magnificent Muraco hit the ring! They're back! The place is going bonkers! Muraco goes right after a pale white Tully but Tully sprints into the crowd while Muraco chases him. Kerry is all over Michaels with punches. Slater and Garvin are pounding away on Arn and Zbyszko. Hogan waves his finger at Flair. Flair begs but Hogan punches away on him. It's chaos as the show ends.
  12. High Energy are rising the ranks I can't wait for Funk vs. Tito. They're going to have a barn burner at Mania Slick isn't playing around. Spivey's some serious muscle and it could be bad news for Brown I think Bart and Manny are going to work things out with an old fashion fight Tugboat and Hammer get some shine Great angle with Minotaur. Perfect for his character Good to see Brandi still thrilling the crowds Northern Invasion win a battle against the Commonwealth. I'm sure this war isn't over yet.
  13. The Commonwealth are born again If you have a King in your name, you'll have to deal with Lawler. I'm really liking Lawler's heel run here The Nasties have been on such a roll that it was only a matter of time before they got some gold It took a lot but Earthquake dethrones Duggan for the IC title. I'm hyped for a Quake IC title reign After the craziness of the last two title bouts, it was the right time for the basics as Ronin wins with a cradle. The WWF gave us an epic Funk/Dusty feud. Manny helping Funk retain lets Dusty leave with pride. Again, great job with this feud. The Rumble was well written and easy to follow. The match had a variety of wrestlers and some surprise entrants. I popped for Tito winning. He drew an early number and eliminated Jake, who had the sweet 30 number. This made for a great underdog story. Tito taking on Funk for the world title at Mania will deliver. These guys will work well together and give the fans their money's worth. The Road to Wrestlemania is off and running!
  14. The TV tournament was a lot of fun. Big upcoming finale with Morton taking on Tasha's pretty boy. I think we're in for a big show.
  15. Van Hammer makes a rock'n debut. I'm positive this gimmick would get over in a territory like this. After that promo, I would pay to see Angel go at it with Abby. Oh yea an appearance by the MOD Squad! Right call having New Breed go over, but still cool seeing the MOD Squad Very creative split screen promos from Zeus and Haystacks. Talk about a collision! Another anticipated big man brawl between Kaz and Bedlam. Great heated segment The Lords of Darkness have been born. The Smoking Gunns are riding into town Pourteau is looking and feeling the part. An open challenge is always a gutsy move Morgan's pissed but I'm not sure he knows what he's dealing with Johnny B Badd ends the show on a high charismatic note Love the PPV poster. Pretty damn cool.
  16. The wrestlers are really turning it up for this tournament IRL I loved the Nikita/Rude feud so it's cool seeing it happening here Hennig and Pillman are shining and I hope they cross paths Steamboat's always a favorite to win it Taker's getting good time to build his character Looks like Marty gave Doom an unexpected surprise The 10 man tag is great entertainment especially involving the Armstrongs and Southern Boys Pretty Wonderful is making waves Sting sure has his hands full. Will Sid rule the world at the Clash?
  17. Excellent write ups for both battle royals. The Steiners looked amazing but damn so did Soul-les. I agree with AD, their match with the Road Warriors is going to be insane! What a way to cap off Idol's career. He went out with a bang darling. Savage retires him and retains the title. Hmmmmm but Liz didn't seem to happy. The next battle royal was full of thrills and grudges. Loved the bumps. I thought the King was going to pull it off but Luger wins it. Luger vs. Savage is a great money making match up. The winners of the battle royals really earned their shots tonight.
  18. PCO wins a battle but Finlay seems to have his troops in line Guido sure has a lot of fight in him Wright's bringing out some serious ruthlessness in Dreamer I can see Bigelow having enough and plowing over Richards LOL Adams is gunning for Hart big time You better be focused when wrestling Martel. I wonder if Candido will eventually give in to Piper. Vancouver Lane and Condrey represent the Midnights well. Vito and Sandman keep their rivalry going. Windham gets a big win over a recently reheated Finlay I'll say it again, who can stop Kawada? Props to Coast to Coast for taking the champs to the limit A world title chain match...COOL! I think Bret might be done with Dibiase for good now Kelowna Thrilling finish to kick things off Scorpio has Guido's number but it wouldn't surprise me if Guido wants another one The OWC puts a stop to Fastball's fun FOJ rack up another title defense. Rough weekend for Richards Hexagon defeat the single's champs again. I see some title shots soon Oh man, I know Liger and Eaton tore the house down.
  19. AWA TV @ The Hammond Center 1-30-91 Larry Nelson: Hello everyone and welcome to AWA Major League Wrestling. Tonight, Gama Singh defends his AWA TV title against Gary Young. Latin Desire takes on the Bunkhouse Boys. As you all know the War Games is coming to the St. Paul Civic Center on February 14th and we'll be hearing from the four horsemen as well as pre recorded comments from Hulk Hogan. Ok, let's get to the ring. The Cobra vs. Bradley Damen Cobra makes his return to the AWA and immediately thrills fans with his high octane offense. Cobra hits a snap suplex and follows with a leg drop from the top rope for the win. The fans will need to catch their breath after that one. Commercial Break Leo Burke vs. Todd Rooney Burke's first match back since SuperClash and he's aggressive tonight. Burke nails Rooney with several European uppercuts then clamps on the sleeper for the win. Nelson: Welcome back Leo. At SuperClash, we all saw what that lunatic Maxx Payne did to your arm. I know you have something to say. Burke: Yea, Payne messed up my arm pretty good but he did it by attacking me from behind. Ok Payne, let's see what you can do face to face. Anytime, anyplace! Get ready for the real pain! Commercial Break Latin Desire vs. The Bunkhouse Boys Latin Desire's tremendous National Tag Title reign came to an end at SuperClash, so these guys are looking to get back into serious contention. The Bunkhouse Boys had a hard hitting debut at SuperClash and sent a strong message to the tag team division. The bell rings and the Bunkhouse Boys charge. Both teams go at it as the Ref tries to get things under control. The match continues at a fever pace. Latin Desire get control and work Houston over and almost get the win with a double suplex/Stereo elbow drops but Golden makes the save. Later, the Bunkhouse Boys command a segment by beating up Lou Perez pretty bad. They almost get the pin when Golden punches Lou in the gut and Houston follows with a bulldog but Al makes the save. Lou eventually makes the hot tag to Al and Al cleans house. Al's on fire until the Bunkhouse Boys start double teaming which brings in Lou for another pier six brawl. During the melee, Al rolls up Houston for a quick 1..2..3! Even in defeat, the Bunkhouse Boys keep fighting after the bell as do Latin Desire. Commercial Break Thunderstruck vs. Carl Kellerman Another AWA debut as the muscle man rookie Thunderstruck comes down the aisle slapping hands with the fans. He's got a good guy face and gets the job done as he wins the match with a bearhug/belly to belly suplex. Thunderstruck cuts a promo and just seems fired up and excited to be in the AWA. Commercial Break AWA World Tag Team Champs Dick Slater and Ron Garvin are standing in front of an AWA banner. The titles are on their shoulders. Garvin: February 14th is Doomsday for the four horsemen. In the War Games you boys have nowhere to run and nowhere to hide. Get ready for the pounding of your lives. Slater: Horsemen! You've been riding high and mighty but we know you aint so tough. We whooped you for these here titles but that aint noth'n compared to the whooping we're going to give you at War Games. You're going to get the beatings of your lives and we're going to be happy to do it! Nelson: Strong words from the world tag team champs. It all happens at the War Games. However, we're going to get a little preview next week. Listen to next week's blockbuster main event. Hulk Hogan will go one on one with Arn Anderson! That's right! Right here, next week! Commercial Break The British Bombers vs. Marvin Haywood and Arnie Goldstein The Bombers are healed up from their brutal SuperClash chain match and look better than ever. Smith executes a superplex on Haywood as St. Clair follows with a senton for the win. The Bombers cut a promo and say they went through hell with Buzz Sawyer and Missing Link so if the Guerreros want a run at us, we're more than ready! Commercial Break Nelson: Ok fans... Sheik Adnan Al-Kaissie bursts onto the scene. Nelson: Adnan, what are you doing here? Adnan: Next week! Next week! You will see the destruction caused by Kokina Maximus! I will unleash the monster and nobody is safe! Nobody can prepare for Kokina! Adnan leaves. Nelson: (pauses) Ok ah let's go to the ring The Equalizer vs. Ray Glader Equalizer brutalizes his opponent and easily wins the match with a stomp from the middle ropes. Commercial Break Nelson: Fans, joining me now are the four horsemen, Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Larry Zbyszko, Tully Blanchard along with Shawn Michaels. The Horsemen and Michaels enter the ring dressed to the nines. Nelson: Saturday, February 14th, St. Paul Civic Center, War Games. Tully snatches the mic and pushes Nelson back. Tully: Magnum TA! You think you pulled one over on the Horsemen? Think again? Oh yea, you really thought you put the fear in me by making me a part of this match and entering first against that beach bum Muraco. Do I look scared? I haven't been in the ring in a long time but it wont take much to beat Muraco senseless. (laughs) I've been beating up Muraco for months now and that isn't going to change in the War Games. Zbyszko: You know we heard those two spudheads Garvin and Slater talking a big game but that's all those two idiots know how to do. We're a cohesive unit and at War Games we're going to rub their faces against the cage and make them bleed. They'll be begging for mercy but they don't deserve it. Arn: The War Games is Horsemen domain and a serious crime will be committed. Not jaywalking, not petty theft but aggravated assault! Hulk Hogan, you and I lock horns next week and after I'm done with you, your team's going to be looking for a new partner. Michaels: If you want to be elite, you have to hang with the elite. Nobody's more elite than the Horsemen, so here I am. Kerry Von Erich, if by a miracle you even make it to War Games, you're all mine and I'm going to kick your head through the cage! Flair: Magnum TA and all the AWA powers that be think they can screw over the Horsemen and get away with it. Not a chance! Everybody knows that I'm the one and only true AWA world champion. However, before I get to that, I have personal unfinished business with you Hulk Hogan. The odds are that you wont make it to War Games (hits Arn on the shoulder) But if you do, if you do, I'm going to end Hulkamania once and for all! Then, the world title comes back to where it belongs, around my waist. The Horsemen and Shawn Michaels are walking out of War Games the winners! Easy as that! WOOOOO! Commercial Break AWA TV Title Bout Gama Singh (C) vs. 6-Man Champ 'Gorgeous' Gary Young The bell rings and Young charges but Gama back drops him. Young staggers up as Gama dropkicks him down. Gama hits a suplex 1..2..Kick Out. Gama continues to work Young over. Young turns things around with an eye rake. Young swings Gama into the corner and follows with a running back elbow smash. Young snapmares Gama over and hits a neck snap 1..2..Kick Out. The match continues to go back and forth. Young gets control and swings Gama into the turnbuckles but Gama jumps up on the turnbuckles and comes back with a reverse press 1..2..3! Just as Gama stands up, JW Storm and Ricky Santana hit the ring and start pounding on Gama. Young staggers up and joins in. The Idols are beating down on Gama. The fans cheer as the Tribal Nation and The Missouri Tiger hit the ring! Fists are flying until the Idols retreat. The Tribal Nation and Tiger help Gama up and hand him the TV title. They raise Gama's arms as the fans cheer. Commercial Break We see Hulk Hogan pumping iron at the gym. He stops and looks into the camera. Hogan: There was just no other way brother! This situation is way out of control and Magnum TA made the right call with the War Games. It all comes down to that! Oh yea, I know I've got Arn Anderson one on one next week but I'm not a fool. I know all the goons will be lurking. But remember this goons, I have friends too, friends that want a piece of each and every one of you, just like I do. Between now and War Games, if you goons want a fight, we're going to give you one! You run your mouths and make empty threats but trust me when I say, you all have bitten off way more than you can chew. So, Horsemen, Michales, whatcha all gonna do when the power of Hulkamania and all our allies run wild on youuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu!!
  20. Damn, that's a stacked card! I'm so ready for this!
  21. The only thing I have is Jim Neidhart should be on the WCW roster.
  22. Solid series of house shows The tag teams are really being showcased. The Fantastics and Nightmares is a great match up. High Energy, Spirit Warriors and Bolsheviks are looking to get into title contention. The one that stood out to me was the Nasty Boys beating Snuka and Andre. I know Snuka and Andre are winding down but this is still a huge win for the Nasties. IC Champ Duggan had a great weekend with 2 tough title defenses I loved the Funk/Billy Jack title match. I could see Funk being pinballed around until taking Jack out with the branding iron to retain.
  23. Very competitive matches this week. Shows how stacked your roster is. Sid adds reinforcements while Sting plays it cool. Can't wait to see how all this plays out at the Clash Love the battle royal concept. Puts a fresh spin on things Marty better have a big ace up his sleeve going up against Doom again.
  24. Pourteau defeats Demon to win the LHW. This match already sets the stage for an exciting LHW division in GWF New Breed gain buzz quick by beating an over team I can't imagine what Vampire and Kabuki are going to do to those poor souls. Props to Kaz for having the guts to stand up to a maniac like Bedlam Haystacks and Zeus will collide! Angel is the right man to take on Abby and I'm sure Abby's going to have a fork ready Killer Kyle brings some intrigue. What could possibly be in that case Morgan sends a strong message to the champ Huge news with Watts working a deal with WCW. Perfect place to go and get established.
  25. Muta gets his showcase and now there's nowhere to go but up I think Southern Justice saved Bill's life Looks like Medusa relished Austin's win over Mr. Magnificent Great seeing Mascaras back in the game and frustrating Wallstreet. Can York's computer figure Mascaras out? Moondogs are nuts but the Road Warriors snack on that The fans loved seeing Rick back but it doesn't last long thanks to Sullivan. Scott will need some backup dealing with Soulless Over to Memphis Graham's technical wrestling pays off I'm eager to watch the Can Am make their mark here DWB's get the win but the Ebony Express turn some heads Well, it didn't take Luger long to make his presence known in the main event scene. Savage vs. Luger will be money! It's Memphis so that means RnR and the Destruction Crew will get a great gimmick blow off match Oh man the Prince gets embarrassed big time. I can't imagine the revenge Lawler's going to get.
