Loved the Hennig promo. I thought Hennig was going babyface hahaha. Very creative stipulation for the next title bout. I also loved Lawler's response. Add in Macho man's craziness and man you've got one hell of a story going. I'm thinking this is the last we'll see of Golden, well in Memphis anyways I have a feeling Brad's picked himself a pretty good partner. I don't think Dutch and DWB will be laughing long. Cold as Ice, what a great name. Damn, I can't imagine who Tojo's bringing in. Paul Bearer now has a couple of Takers. I would be nervous of these two for sure. There are some fresh match ups coming to Mid South Coliseum. Looks like Savage and Lawler really got into it again. Memphis is on fire!

AWA TV @ The Hammond Center 1-17-90 Larry Nelson: Hello everybody and happy new year! Welcome to AWA Major League Wrestling. We hope you enjoyed last week's SuperClash 4 review. I'm sure that event will set the tone for the 90s here in the AWA. We've got a lot of action for you tonight. Our main event will see Brutus Beefcake go one on one with newcomer King Kaluha. Hulk Hogan will be here tonight to address his fans! Ok, let's go to the ring. 'The Future' JW Storm vs. Todd Rooney Storm comes out with his long black hair slicked back. He's wearing a leather jacket and both ears are pierced. He does look pretty cool. He works over Rooney with several impressive power moves before finishing him off with a lunging clothesline. Nelson: Ok JW Storm, you made quite a showing at SuperClash when you attacked Steve Disalvo after his match with Ken Patera. Why would you do that? Storm: Look, I made it very clear that I'm the future of wrestling. Disalvo prances around here in colorful tank tops and sunglasses while showing off his muscles. The guy wants to be cool so bad, but he just isn't. Somebody needs to put him in his place and that somebody is me. Commercial Break The Renegade Warriors vs. Carl Kellerman and William Hillman The Warriors are in sync tonight. Mark holds Hillman is a suplex position as Chris hits a flying press from the top rope for the win. Nelson announces that the Renegade Warriors are next in line for a shot at the National tag titles. On that note Nelson sends us to some pre recorded comments from the new National tag champs Latin Desire. Al and Lou Perez are getting massages by beautiful woman on the beach. Lou: Listening to you Al was the best thing I ever did. Look at me now, one half of the National tag team champs. Life is good brother. Al: It doesn't get any better brother. And this is only the beginning. I mean we've got it all. The looks, the talent, the charisma and all the tools to remain champs for a long long time to come. Commercial Break Nelson: Fans, joining me now are Tony St. Clair, Les Thornton and Johnny Smith. At SuperClash, things got a little tense. Thornton: I'll take it from here Nelson. (looks at St. Clair) I'll get right to the point Tony. You embarrassed yourself and more importantly you embarrassed me and the Parliament. Carlos Colon defeated you at your own game. Do you know how much of a fool you looked like? It's clear to me that you just don't have what it takes any more. You're definitely not the man you used to be. Tony: You know something Les. I don't want to be that man anymore! I let money and arrogance rule my life for way too long. I was riding high on being simply the best and my ego went way out of control. No more! It's time I went back to my wrestling roots and get things done that way. Be the man my father would be proud of. Thornton: That's fine by me because I already have someone who will make the Parliament proud. He's been here all along and now he's going all the way to the top. I'm talking about this man, the British Bruiser Johnny Smith. Smith clotheslines Tony from behind! Smith stomps down on Tony, picks him up and swings him into the steel post. Smith hurls Tony into the ring. Smith follows. Smith hoists Tony on his shoulder and drops him with a running powerslam! Thornton: Oh yes. Mr. Smith will make me very proud. Good day Larry Commercial Break Ken Resnick is standing in front of an AWA banner, hyping up the January 25th card at the Mecca in Milwaukee. It's announced the main event will Hulk Hogan defending the AWA world title against Ken Patera. We go to a gym. Brad Rheingans is wearing a sweatsuit with a hat and whistle. He blows the whistle and we see Ken Patera doing some power lifting. Rheingans blows the whistle again and Patera drops the weights. Rheingans: I hope you're watching Hulk Hogan. If you are then you can clearly see that you're obviously no match for Ken Patera's strength. Patera: Hogan! In Milwaukee I'm going to break you in half! I'm stronger than you! I'm a better athlete than you! And most of all I'm more honorable than you! That's the kind of champion the AWA needs. Rheingans blows the whistle and Patera starts lifting again. Commercial Break Cactus Jack vs. Neil Jordan Jack's a wild man as he screams and laughs during the match. Jack hurls his opponent to the outside. Jack goes to the apron and hits a flying elbow drop off the apron! Jack slides back into the ring. The Ref counts to 10 and the match is over. Nelson: My goodness! (deep breath) ok, Cactus Jack, you surprised everybody, most of all Buzz Sawyer at SuperClash. Why Buzz? Jack: (maniacal laugh) Buzz says he likes to have fun. I like to have fun too. Bang! Bang! Commercial Break Nelson: Fans as you know the AWA has a lot of tag teams coming on the scene. Well, starting next week there will be an 8 team tournament to decide who the number one contenders will be for the AWA world tag team titles. On that note, let's go to the ring. AWA World Tag Team Champs the Rock n Roll Express vs. Sam Smith and Jay Moore Coming off their tremendous win over the Fantastics at SuperClash, RnR look better than ever as they win the match with the double dropkick. The fans roar as RnR hold up the titles Commercial Break We see a wrecking ball blast into a building. The building falls. Out of the dust and debris walk two men in construction hats and vests, holding sledgehammers. The Destruction Crew is coming to the AWA Larry Nelson is standing with Tiger Conway Jr. and Shaska Whatley. Whatley is wearing his top hat and suit jacket. Conway is holding a top hat and jacket. Nelson: Wow, it's been a while since I've seen the two of you together. Conway: OOOOHHH Larry, let me be the first to say that the Jive Tones are back in the AWA! Only this time around will be a little different. You see, I'm retired now but the Jive Tones are alive and well. Shaska and myself have been looking for the right man to wear this here top hat and jacket. Whatley: And we found that man! Conway: We sure did. Let me introduce to you, the newest Jive Tone. I'm talking about Skip Young! Young struts out. Conway and Whatley put the hat and jacket on him. Young and Whatley do a little Temptation dance. Nelson: I don't believe this. Sweet Brown Sugar, what are you doing? Young: Who is Sweet Brown Sugar? I don't know that fool. My name is Skip Young and baby I'm a jive tone! Whatley: We're talking about the Jiiiiiiive tones turkey! Conway: And we're coming for the titles baby! Nelson: (rolls his eyes) Unbelievable Commercial Break AWA International Champ 'The Red Rooster' Terry Taylor vs. Ray Glader Taylor's even more arrogant tonight and wins the match with the flying 5 arm. Nelson: Well Rooster, I guess congratulations is in order for retaining your title at SuperClash. Although I think Don Muraco was more concerned with the well being of Superstar Graham than the decision. Taylor: You'll never learn Nelson. I strategically won that match. And guess what? Here I am still holding the International title. This is my hen house and I run things around here. How many times do I have to tell you that? Now word is that David Sammartino is next in line. Somehow is survived against Larry Zbyszko but there's no way he's coming into my henhouse and taking my title. He doesn't have the brains or talent to get the job done. Come on Nelson, I'm the cock of the walk and you and all these people know it! Taylor slicks back his ponytail and flings it into the camera before strutting away. Commercial Break Brutus Beefcake vs. King Kaluha Beefcake is fired up after surviving the elimination match at SuperClash. He looks energized and ready to go. Kaluha comes to the ring wearing face paint and a lei around his neck. Wait a minute, what's going on here. Nelson Royal walks into the ring wearing his preacher suit and white cowboy hat. He walks over to Kaluha, whispers something in his ear and shakes his hand. Kaluha raises his arms in victory and exits. WHAM! From behind the HANGMAN attacks Beefcake! Hangman just pounds, clobbers and mauls Beefcake. Hangman ties his noose around Beefcake's neck and hurls him over the top rope and actually hangs Beefcake. Beefcake is fighting for his life. A swarm of prelim wrestlers and officials run out. Royal calmly walks over and whispers into the Hangman's ear. Hangman releases Beefcake. Nelson: Nelson Royal! What the hell are you doing?! Royal: From now on I would like to be referred to as Nell. Now I gave everybody fair warning that the Hangman was coming to clean up the AWA and all of its wrong doers. That man Brutus Beefcake is exactly what I'm talking about. Look at the clothes he wears. Look at how he dances around the ring. There's no room in my good world for a soul like him. It's now time for the Hangman to dispose of him. I'll be seeing you real soon Larry. Stay pure because I would hate for the Hangman to have to pay you a visit. Hangman puts the noose around Larry's neck, tightens it a little, then takes it off. Larry (grasping his neck) watches nervously as Nell and Hangman walk away. Commercial Break Larry must be still shaken up a bit, because Ken Resnick is in the ring. Resnick: My guest at this time is the AWA world champion, HULK HOGAN!!!! The place goes nuts as Hogan heads up the aisle while Eye of the Tiger blasts. Hogan's wearing jeans, tank top and headband. He enters the ring, takes the title off his waist and holds it up high. Resnick: Hulk, at SuperClash, you scored the biggest win of your AWA run over Nikita Koloff. You have to be feeling pretty good. Hulk: Well you know something Killer Ken, Hulk Hogan and Hulkamania is on cloud nine brother! First off, I have to give a shout out to my main man Mr.T! He saw what that no good Col. Debeers was doing and he put a stop to that nonsense real quick. After that Hulkamainia put an end to the Russian Nightmare's reign of terror. Now, Hulkamania is ready to rock the 90s brother! First up is you Ken Patera! At the Mecca in Milwaukee you and that pip squeak partner of yours are going to find out just how powerful Hulkamania is. And as for you Col. Debeers, if you want to go face to face with Hulkamania then bring it on! So Debeers, Patera and any other challenger out there, all I have to say is, whatcha gonna do when Hulk Hogan, the Hulkamaniacs and the power of Hulkamania run wild on you!!!!! Hogan poses

I think Ranger Ross can get this gimmick over in this WWF era for sure. Fun set of promos to hype the Rumble. Zeus gets in a good showcase. The Rumble is a match that suits him well. Commonwealth looks good, but Heenan doesn't think they can handle the POP. We shall see. Rude seems ready for Andre. I can't wait to see what goes down in the cage. Great sit down with Nailz. I can totally see Mean Gene getting nervous. I'm with Monsoon, let's see what Bossman has to say. American Eagles seem to be soaring towards a title shot Funk handles the Doctor. I still expect big things from Prichard in the WWF. Bring on the Rumble!!
-
Now that SuperClash is over, I can make this official. AWA has sent Nikita Koloff to WCW in exchange for Jim Neidhart
-
Looks like Manny is recruiting Hillbilly Jim is off to a great start. Nicely booked finish And it looks like Bart accepted Manny's offer Look at that, the Bushwhackers are heading to the Rumble for a chance at some gold We're in for a hard hitting Bossman/Nailz feud Heenan and Rude make a great team. Rude survives this one but can he survive a cage match with Andre? I can't wait to find out

Love the assistant to the regional manager title for JJ hahahaha You have such an interesting scenario going on with Luger, Sting and the Horsemen. I like Wahoo serving as a mentor to Tatanka. Rockers and Road Warriors could be a money making program. Both are at the top of their game. I'll never get tired of the Garvin/Martel feud. These guys just gel so well. I hope the Diamond Stud gets a big push. I liked this gimmick. WHOA! Nikita and Uncle Ivan are reunited and back for gold! Luger has a lot on his plate right now. Maybe Muta does deserve a world title shot. Rich gets the fall but JYD takes the beating The next couple months in WCW will be must watch TV.

I'll say this, Maeda and Sayama earned their way into the finals. Sayama was clicking on all cylinders in his win over Karelin. Maeda has some huge momentum with a submission win over Vader. A lot of pressure following the semis but Nakano overcomes it and gets a nice win Tadeu will be someone to watch. I like the style he brings Wilhelm tries to work the clock but Funaki doesn't give up and takes it. Wearing gloves pays off for Smith. He was hitting hard tonight The Russians go the distance and hopefully a rematch can settle things Ruas has quietly racked up some impressive wins Wow, yea big upset by Ogawa. He delivered Allen some bad news. It all comes down to Maeda and Sayama! Even after some earlier incredibly tough bouts, these guys put it all out there. Props to both on a tremendous finale. I thought for sure Maeda would take the title, but Sayama wins it. The Sayama story is great movie material. I'm looking forward to his reign. He deserved this.

Exciting start for the Thrillseekers. Bam Bam is flying solo. I wonder who the Brigade will turn to next. Thrown into the fire is right but a learning experience for sure. Citadel gets a big boost. One thing's for sure, you need friends in PCW. I see Austin feuding with the Diamond Exchange this year. This is going to rock PCW! Looks like Piper has a hit list with the Playboy Club all over it Hashimoto's amazing reign continues Portland, Williams rules Oklahoma Rose will need therapy after dealing with Piper Gigantic win for the FOJ. Man it's great to see these guys back! Damn, the Sinister has put together one hell of a stable Like Hashimoto, PR is enjoying a great run. I'm sure Japan is loving this Steamboat 2, Adams 0 Eugene, The Fighting Irish put a pause on the Thrillseekers momentum Awesome gets the win, but Pierre gave him some bruises Good rebound for the Money Train Condrey's still a threat in PCW Bam Bam is riding high on his own Once again the LHW champ ends the weekend on a high note
-
Duggan and Manny will be one brawling feud. Can't wait for more Demolition and POP. Earthquake has got to be a rumble favorite. Man, I'm looking forward to the Nailz/Bossman feud. Andre and Rude in a cage! Bring it on! A manager should always read the contract carefully hahaha Always a big Saito fan and he always delivers. Damn, that Boston card is loaded! Badd Co. has one of the best finishers in the game. I think Hase can shine in 1990 The plot thickens between Tito and Dino. This has had a solid build and puts a good shine on the IC title. So much good stuff going on. I wonder if Rude will make it to Mania as champion, with all these big name contenders chasing him. The Rumble is getting close!

AWA News SuperClash 4 is in the books and word is that Verne Gagne was extremely pleased with the event and the receipts. Verne said it was a pleasure to work with Denver officials and has decided to make the McNichols Arena the annual destination for SuperClash. Verne also stated that the celebrities were very professional and contributed significantly, especially Mr. T. The event was a sell out and the pay per view numbers went above expectations. The AWA hopes to carry this momentum in 1990. The bad news is 2 of the biggest AWA stars have departed. Nikita Koloff and Paul Orndorff are moving on. This was known before the event. Orndorff has a tremendous run and left on good terms. With Nikita leaving, the AWA acted fast and added Col. Debeers to the feud with Hulk Hogan. Rumor has it that Debeers will challenge Hogan for the world title at the next scheduled Title Night in February. In the meantime, Ken Patera will be Hogan's challenger on the next house show loop. After winning his feud with Larry Zbyszko, David Sammartino will be the next challenger for the International title held by Terry Taylor. Congratulations to the new AWA world tag champs the RnR Express. Also, to Jim Neidhart on his TV title victory and of course Latin Desire on winning the AWA National tag titles. El Canek and Jumbo Tsuruta will be on tour in their homelands this month. This always gives the AWA more global exposure. Stan Hansen will also be touring Japan but will be back in the AWA in a month or two. The next pay per view will be Champagne Slam in April. There's said to be a very special gimmick match this year, with the winner getting a world title shot at WrestleRock in July. With a lot of new changes coming, I thought I would do a series of quick vignettes to get things moving. James Brown's living in America plays. Lights are flashing and woman are dancing. A platform lowers from the ceiling. Mike Jones and Bobby Walker are wearing matching Apollo Creed Uncle Sam outfits. They're dancing and having a great time. The Soul Patrol are coming to the AWA We're at the speed races. A car peels out and stops. A man climbs out of the front seat. "Alright! That's what I'm talking about! Bobby Blaze is ready to set the AWA on fire!" Two big twins are powerlifting in the gym. They finish up and walk outside. A man walks up to them "Hey, I've got a flat tire. Do you guys have a jack?" The twins look at each other and laugh "No need" The twins lift the car up. The man is in awe. The Power Twins are coming to the AWA There's an island ritual going on. A man wearing face paint walks up and is bestowed a title. He turns around and raises his arms as everybody gets on their knees to pay respect. King Kaluha is coming to the AWA We see silhouettes of dragons and flames. Two shadows walk through it and stand with their arms folded. The Takano Dragons are coming to the AWA A light shines as two swords appear. Behind one sword is Mexico's flag. Behind the other sword is India's flag. The light brightens as the swords and flags merge. The Swords of Light (Thanks again Rain) have united in the AWA We see The Vin Man wearing a Hawaiian shirt and walking on the beach. Vin: Out with the old and in with the new. That's my motto for the 90s...YEA! Vinnie approaches Tommy Jammer, who's laying in the sun. Vin: Jamm'n Tommy Jammer. Just the man I'm looking for. Hey, you and I were both robbed at SuperClash, but I think I can rectify all that. With me, you can ride that big wave to the sky dude. (looks over) Come here dude. A blonde hair man walks into the view. Vin: Jammer, this is Sandy Beach and you guys were born to team up. I'll lead the way and you can kick sand in the faces of all the teams in the AWA. What do you say? Jammer stands up and hugs Sandy. Vin: Oh wow, you dudes know each other. Jammer: Oh yea we do! Who do you think runs these beaches Beach: We do! The three of them hug Good Vibrations are coming to the AWA In a desert scene, Col Debeers steps out of a jeep. A group of soldiers are standing in line. Debeers summons Sgt. DeKlerk and Sgt. Kruger. The two men come forward and salute Debeers. Debeers: (twirling his mustache) It is time The Commission are coming to the AWA Gary Young is riding a Maverick horse. He stops Young: You can say I've had a lot of ups and downs in the AWA. I followed mentors and had my share of partners. Well it's time to switch things up a bit. And I found just the man to ride side by side with. Eric Embry rides up on a Mavrick horse. Embry: Lead the way Gary The Mavericks are coming to the AWA Nelson Royal is sitting by a fire. He's wearing an old preacher suit with a white hat. Royal: You know I've been watching the AWA very closely for a long time. What I've seen makes me sick. I see wrong doers and lost souls running amok. Well, I have just the solution. I'm bringing in an executioner to exterminate all of those poor souls. It breaks my heart to do this, but something must be done for the greater good. Nelson takes off his hat and lowers his head. The camera turns around. Standing there is an imposing masked figure with a noose. The Hangman is coming to the AWA

AWA releases Scott Putski, Derrick Dukes and Dave Taylor AWA picks up King Kaluha, Bobby Blaze, Sunny Beach, Ray Apollo, Bobby Walker, George Takano, Shunji Takano and the Power Twins. I would also like to pick up Nelson Royal and Tiger Conway off the retirement list as managers
-
Great job with the Future Shock aftermath which segued nicely into the Omni card. Owen and Liger could have a series of matches that will be talked about for years to come. The heel in Garvin comes out as he uses a chair and his title to clean house. It's fun watching OMG and Sullivan wreak havoc. People better pay attention to Power and Glory. Loved that 6 man match up with the exciting youngsters defeating the brutal savages. LOL, the Road Warriors get the win but Race and Orton sure didn't get pushed over. Diamond Stud lives up to Ventura's hype. WOW! Just like that, the Rockers win the gold! Tully might be taking a hiatus. Kona and Bezerker could be a fun big man feud Hmmmm, after that I don't think Flair's going to be too happy with Muta.
-
Damn! What a way to kick things off with Savage! I love this loose cannon version and he's going to turn Memphis upside down. OOOOHHHH YEA! Lawler responds but I think this story goes a little deeper. Lawler, Jarrett, Savage, Poffo and Bluegrass. This angle is going to explode soon. I'm excited to see what Taker gets involved with here. So many possibilities. Wow, Dutch sinks so low that he makes a kid cry. He really is dirty. I can't wait to see the Freebirds and Stud Stable go at it again. I'm sure we're in for another twist. Cousin Jr fits in so well here. Dustin's looking good and seems to have a plan. Sometimes Jimmy Hart talks more than he should hahahaha Dutch does it again! I have to admit, that was pretty damn brilliant. Memphis is really taking off and shows no signs of slowing down. Great job.
-
Props to you for truly capturing the SNME feel. Amazing job with the scene and promos. Boogie Woogie Man gets things going as he takes down the heat generating Iron Shiek. I'm sucker for these types of match ups. Tunney drops a bombshell as the KOR returns this year. This could set up something interesting for the Heenan Family, unless Warrior dethrones Haku first. Bravo sends a strong message to IC champ Tito. Oh man! Nailz has arrived and Bossman is the target! I've been waiting for this feud. Funk (with Manny's help) takes care of Duggan. I'm looking forward to watching what the Outlaws do here. Main event ends in chaos as the story continues. Some big hitters involved in this feud. The WWF is off to an incredible start

AWA adds Billy Jack Haynes and Dave Taylor to the block

PWF- Professional Wrestling Federation (FLORIDA 1989-)
spaldoni replied to Jimmy Jack Punk's topic in Programming
Poor Kendall is at a crossroads. He really took that loss to heart. DJ's tag champs are riding high Two sons of beach are coming. A big wave is going to hit Florida. Alberto Madril is officially the funniest man in the game. Damn that segment was hilarious! Rasta continues to rack up wins. Lancaster once again overcomes the obstacle Miller to get another match with Jimmy Jam 2. Dory's having quite the career resurgence in Florida I'm already pumped for next week's show -
AWA puts the Fantastics on the block

AWA sends Bob Armstrong to PWF AWA releases- Brian Adias, Dream Machine, Hillbilly Jim, Mike Shaw, The Moondogs, Pat Rose, Randy Rose, Rip Oliver, Spike Huber and Skandor Akbar

Great to have you back! I really enjoyed the year end review. Gets us all updated and ready for 1990. I like the roster you put together. I think you'll get a lot out of these guys. Kerry will be a great champion and is the right guy to build the UWF around. I'm excited to see who Hennig's next challenger will be, so I'll be tuning in next week for sure

1990 and PCW is ready to go! The New Year's special provided a lot of excitement and surprises to set the tone. As usual, PCW is the place to be for the young and upcoming. The managers made their moves to bolster their factions. Cornette's taking on quite the task with a pair of trios. Huge moment for me was Slaughter coming into PCW with the returning Patriots! I loved these guys. Roddy Piper is back in PCW!!! This is big! It was only fitting that he interrupted Rose. Hart comes up just short in his bid for the Pacific title. Victoria, Lee's already proving his worth to the Playboy Club Patriots are off and running. Watch out for this patriotic trio I'm all for a series of Steamboat/Hart matches Sinister's making heads spin by putting together an impressive group. I'm with AD, didn't see Malenko and Eddie joining up. Wow, that was something. Austin's in lone wolf mode I'm liking the Windham comeback story. Vancouver, Iron and Steel are racking up the wins Patriots vs. Midnights, bring it on! Hart's road to the PCW is going to be a rough one. especially going at it with guys like Gordy OWC might be looking at some tag gold soon You can't say Steamboat isnt a fighting champ. Kelowna, The Thrillseekers have been thrilling so far Scotty's gearing up for bigger things Cornette's new trio one ups the other new trio Severn should make another run at the Submission title Speaking of that, with Malenko's new edge, it will be hard getting the title off him Azul retains, but Eddie is going to want more Happy New year Rain! Looking forward to an exciting 1990 in PCW

It's now Bob and Idol going at it. Bob goes to town on Idol and busts him open. Bob swings Idol into the corner. Bob hops on the turnbuckles and punches down on Idol as the fans count along. Idol falls down, rolls over and tags in Starr. Bob and Starr get into a slugfest. Starr rakes his eyes, swings him to the ropes and hits a flying press, but Bob holds on. Both men fall backwards and over the top rope. Idol hops off the apron and goes after Bob, but Bob kicks Idol and hits a Jawbreaker! Mr. T smiles and shrugs his shoulders. Starr slides into the ring as the Ref hits the 10 count. The bell rings. OH NO! Bob Armstrong has been counted out. Bob can't believe it. Bob goes out like a man as he waves goodbye to the fans. Beefcake clotheslines Adias down. Beefcake back drops Adias and tags in Parsons. Parsons swings Adias to the ropes and nails him with the Hip Attack! Adias bounces back and tags in Idol. Parsons is all over Idol, but Idol stops his momentum with an eye rake. Idol pushes Parsons into the corner. Adias holds Parsons as Idol kicks away. Beefcake runs in and a pier six brawl ensues. While this is happening, Dream Machine makes his way back out. The Ref is distracted by this. Mr. T blocks off Dream Machine. Dream starts shuffling and raises his fists. Mr. T clocks Dream and knocks him out. Inside the ring, Adias pulls out something from his tights. He throws a white substance into Parsons face. Adias then clips Parsons knees from behind. The Ref turns around and gets order. Idol picks up Parsons and executes a shin breaker, then clamps on the Las Vegas Leglock. Parsons is out and the Ref signals for the bell. A bloody Idol gets up and celebrates. Officials come in to help Parsons out. The fans give Parsons a big ovation. Austin idol remains in the AWA. Iceman Parsons is gone from the AWA It's down to Adias and Beefcake. While Beefcake is watching Parsons with concern, Adias attacks him from behind. Adias picks up Beefcake and executes his cradle suplex 1..2..Beefcake kicks out. Adias is livid. Adias argues with the Ref and pushes him. Mr. T gets into the ring and gives Adias a stern warning. Adias is ready to fight Mr. T, but Beefcake staggers up, swings Adias around and levels him with a punch. Beefcake punches away on Adias, swings him to the ropes and nails him with the running high knee 1..2..3! BIG POP! The bell rings. Beefcake struts to the back. A groggy Adias gets up and refuses to leave. Mr. T goes to escort him out but Adias pushes him. Adias takes a swing at Mr. T but T ducks and gives Adias an airplane spin, then slams him down. The fans love every minute of this. Brutus Beefcake stays in the AWA. Brian Adias is gone from the AWA. 'The Mighty Yankee' Steve Disalvo vs. 'Olympian' Ken Patera w/Brad Rheingans The Olympians stand tall in the ring wearing their USA themed jackets. Brad pulls out a gold medal and puts it around Patera's neck. Patera stands there with pride. Brad takes out his white towel and wipes Patera's forehead, as Patera hands him back the medal. Boston's more than a feeling plays as Disalvo heads to the ring wearing his gym tank top. The bell rings and we get a test of strength. Patera gets the upper hand, but Disalvo starts to come back. Wow, blockbuster news as Bluegrass joins up with the USWA. I love this, because we're going to see a traveling world champion come through. Speaking of that, Renesto might be first in line for a world title shot. It's only a matter of time before Falk produces something for us. Damn! Lock and the Tazmaniacs just don't care! I did laugh at the visual of Gossett fleeing for his life. Always a blast to read

Embry was on a roll until he met the Undertaker. Steiners proved they are indeed the future of tag team wrestling Golden had to fight to get that Ref spot. I think Jimmy Jack took Kaz's smile tonight. They call him Dirty Dutch for a reason. This is going to be a fun reign. Woman likes what she sees in Slater. This combo could reach the top here. Slaughter's run was short but memorable. I have to admit, I didn't see that coming. Dustin's going to need some serious back up. When Kerry hits the discus punch it's all over. Just ask Budro. Poor Eddie, he just can't get the best of Jarrett. Miss Tennessee gets a lot of credit here. Once again Jimmy Hart sacrifices himself for the greater good. After many swerves, Golden might've pulled off the biggest. OOOOOOOOHHHHH YEA! The madness has arrived! I can't wait for a Savage/Lawler feud! This is going to be epic! Looking forward to seeing what Jeff does with the UWF. Welcome back!
