I'll tell you what, Bert knows how to promote a show. He sold me on Spooktacular. Another thing I love about having Music City in our world is it gives opportunity to guys like JT Southern. This is a place where Southern can thrive. Thanks to a chain and a fast count, I think Miss Kentucky's team have earned a title shot. Fun show!

Hahahaha, I loved all the shenanigans in the opening bout. Great way to kick off the night. I must admit, I'm happy the Latin Connection won the titles. Mando's promos will be gold. Well, Gilbert finally legitimized himself as the true TV champ. However, he must now deal with Reed. First a heated feud with Lawler and now he's coming after Rhodes. Terry Funk is having one great month and I'm sure he's making a lot of money. Bring on Rhodes and Funk! Of course, Gary Hart had a back up plan. I always thought the SST was an underrated tag team. Can't wait to watch Hart lead them. After a night of heavy heel action, the fans get to go home happy as Sting and Luger win a battle with the Horsemen. I think Spivey is going to get an earful next Saturday. Great show.

The battle royal once again lives up to expectations. Billy Jack is red hot right now. Can his incredible momentum put an end to Windham's amazing run? This match is a must see. Azul's rising fast and I'm sure will be in line for a LHW title shot soon. Southern Boys are enjoying quite a run themselves. I see an Eddie/Barr feud coming. Talk about a huge 6 man tag match. Windham gets the fall and I know Billy Jack was watching. Calgary is the luck the Harts needed as they finally got one over on the Diamond Exchange. Cheetah Kid continues his dominant reign. Great way to send the fans home happy with Pillman getting an exciting win to cap a great night of wrestling.

AWA TV @ The Hammond Center 10-20-88 Larry Nelson: Hello everybody and welcome to AWA Major League Wrestling. Brawls in St. Paul was quite the event and now the AWA looks forward to the next Title Night, which will be on Saturday November 17th at the Mecca in Milwaukee. Listen to this, in 2 weeks right here on TV, there will be a battle royal and the winner will face Nikita Koloff at Title Night for the AWA world title. Big news indeed. Well, we have a lot of action for you tonight, including our big main event as the Wild Ones take on the Rose Cousins. Ok, let's get to the ring. Terry 'Bam Bam' Gordy vs. Neil Jordan Freebird by Lynyrd Skynyrd plays as Gordy hits the ring. Gordy simply destroys his opponent and makes him submit to the Asian spike. Nelson: Terry Gordy, you made your presence known in St. Paul and it's clear you want Kerry Von Erich in the ring. Looks like you will get your wish because both you and Kerry will be in the upcoming battle royal. Gordy: Kerry Von Erich! I'm coming for you boy! I will see you in the battle royal and not only will I give you the beating of your life, but I'm going to win the battle royal and go on to win the AWA world title! Commercial Break The Fantastics vs. Sam Smith and Clyde Putnam Fantastics look a little more aggressive tonight and win the match with the Rocket Launcher. Fantastics cut a heated promo on the Glamour Boys and tell them they made this personal and now it's time to show them just who the superior tag team is. Commercial Break Nelson: Fans as you know, the CWA is a strong affiliate of the AWA. You all saw Jeff Jarrett represent the CWA in St. Paul and now our World Tag Team champs, the Guerreros will be in Memphis this week defending their titles. I know there's a lot more planned with the CWA. Speaking of talent touring. Both Jumbo Tsuruta and Tatsumi Fujinami are currently on tour in Japan. The AWA prides itself on International talent. Along those lines, next up is the tag team debut of Huracan Castillo and Miguel Perez Jr., known as the San Juan Saints. Let's check them out. The San Juan Saints vs. Brayden Patrick and Louis Landen Castillo and Perez look pretty cool as they come out wearing Puerto Rican themed colored pants and each have a gold medallion. The San Juan Saints show off solid chemistry and gel well together. Castillo executes a vertical suplex as Castillo follows with a leg drop from the 2nd rope for the win. The fans applaud as the Saints pump their fists to them. Commercial Break Nelson: Fans.... Brenda Britton walks out. Britton: I'll handle this Larry, take a break. Nelson rolls his eyes and leaves. Britton: Hi Everybody! It's my upmost pleasure to welcome out the AWA C.O.O. Gerry Morrow. Morrow walks out in his white suit, fedora hat and sunglasses. He kisses Brenda's hand. Britton: Oh Gerry, you're the most. So much exciting stuff going on in the AWA and it's all thanks to you. Right now, I know you have business with Brian Adias. Morrow: I do indeed Brenda. I would like to ask Mr. Adias to come on out. Boos as Adias comes out wearing a suit and sunglasses. He's also carrying a gift wrapped box. Morrow: Brian, I have heard your protest regarding your TV title loss to Iceman Parsons in St. Paul. You may now speak on that. Adias: Thank you Gerry. As you saw, I was talking with the ring attendant before the bell rang. I wanted to make sure he wasn't careless with my sunglasses. Those sunglasses were given to me by Sylvester Stallone himself. Gerry, you know how important sunglasses are. Morrow: Hahahahaha, yes I do. Adias: Exactly. Now, during this conversation, the Referee rang the bell. He's supposed to make sure I'm ready. He didn't do that. I was then blindsided by that cheater Parsons and you know the rest. I want that match voided and my TV title returned immediately. Oh, by the way, I have a gift for you. Adias hands Morrow the box. Britton: (clapping with enthusiasm) Open it Gerry! Morrow opens it and pulls out a bottle of expensive champagne. Morrow smiles as he looks at the bottle. Britton: Wow! Morrow: You know Brian, you do bring up a valid point. I'll tell you what. I will hold up de TV title. In 2 weeks, you and Iceman Parsons will wrestle for de title. Sound good? Adias: Gerry, you're a fair man. And also, when I win, I want my previous reign to remain intact. Morrow: Ok, that can be done. Commercial Break Coast to Coast vs. Vic Dutro and Willie Lopez Tatum and Victory are all over their opponents and win the match with a double flapjack. Nelson: Guys, I have to ask, where is the Vin Man? Tatum: Is that a joke? What's your problem Larry? Nelson: It's not a joke. Does it have to do with DJ Peterson winning the war with Kevin Kelly? Tatum: Oh, you're a real comedian. Victory gives Nelson a light push. Tatum: Vinnie is very depressed right now. Kevin Kelly has left the AWA and that has taken a severe toll on Vinnie. Jack and I want Vinnie to know that we love him and support him. We're here for you Vin Man! Commercial Break We come back and see a man watching a Rugby game in Yorkshire England. He turns around and it's Dave Taylor. Taylor: Alright then. It's been awhile since I was in the AWA. You might say I needed to go back to my roots for a bit. Well, it's time I got back in the ring and this time I'm going to do things right. It's time to put my skills and talent to the test. The way I was trained. Commercial Break Nelson: (Nervous) With me now is the Asylum. Kokina looks like a beast and Sawyer is swinging his chain around. Tiger Jeet Singh: Everybody thought the Asylum was done. NO! This is only the beginning! We now have a leader that understands our motives. He is Gama Singh! Gama walks out. Nelson: I can't believe this! Gama: You must believe it! It is real! Now watch us unleash pain and punishment! The Asylum (Gama Singh, Tiger Jeet Singh, Buzz Sawyer and Kokina) vs. Trent Watkins, Arnie Goldstein, Warren Coolidge and Reese Jackson The Asylum take turns inflicting pain on their opponents. Sawyer hits a powerslam on Watkins. Tiger Jeet executes a backbreaker. Kokina follows with a standing leg drop and Gama finishes things off with the camel clutch. The Asylum beats up all the other opponents and hurl them all out of the ring. Commercial Break We come back and see Greg Gagne doing more physical therapy. Gagne: Any man that went through what I did would not be able to stand. As you can see I'm not an ordinary man. I promise you I'll be back in no time. Flowers: Everybody knows what I accomplished up in Pacific. I cleaned house up there. Well, now I'm here in the AWA for one reason, the money! A hundred and fifty thousand dollars is a lot of money. El Canek! I'm challenging you and trust me, I'm going to get that money! Commercial Break The Wild Ones vs. The Rose Cousins This one never officially gets started. Before either team enters the ring, they start brawling all over the place. The cameras stick with it and the fans get to see a good brawl until prelim wrestlers and officials run out to break it up. Commercial Break Nelson: My goodness, the situation between those two teams is obviously far from over. Fans next week, the AWA world champ Nikita Koloff will be here. Gary Young goes one on one with his current rival Mr. Olympia. All that and a lot more. Right now, gear up because Sgt. Slaughter is in action. Sgt. Slaughter vs. Todd Rooney Slaughter is heavily booed as he walks to the ring in full military gear. Slaughter picks his opponent a part before winning the match with the Cobra Clutch. Nelson: Sgt. Slaughter, I think these fans are very disappointed in you. Slaughter: Listen up puke! I don't care what these maggots think! They make me sick. All these lowlifes are why this country is in complete disarray. Well Sgt. Slaughter is going to fix that. I'm in the upcoming battle royal and I'm going to win that battle royal. And you know what's next? I'm going to beat that no good commie Nikita Koloff and bring the AWA world title right where it belongs...right here in my hands. (Looks at Nelson) You're dismissed!

Fighting for pride seemed to work for Cooley as he gets a satisfying win over Fuller. I really enjoyed the Wahoo/Lightfoot feud and I'm glad we're going to get part 2. After that match with Kamala, Garvin deserved to win the block. In 1988, Garvin was still a top tier name, so I could see him taking on Tully at Starrcade. I was hoping Whatley would get a title shot soon.

I'll give Miyato a lot of credit for hanging tough, but man Paulson was in the zone tonight. Nakamura seemed very patient and mentally focused as he wore down Funaki to finish him off. Anjo and Sano go at it in an exciting evenly match up. A nice sequence at the end gives Anjo the win. Koslowski shows some impressive strength which leads to a victory over a very game Shamrock. This time it's Dennis's turn as he solidifies the Koslowski's name in Japan. Props to Smiley for putting up a fight. Master Fujiwara shows his student why he is the teacher. Fujiwara looked good tonight. Suzuki will live to fight another day. Sayama sends the fans home happy after that impressive finish. It was already mentioned but Doleman in the main event slot says something. Things just keep getting better for the UWF. Once again, props to all your hard work and detail you put into each of your shows.

Warrior vs. Muta, bring it on! Savage and Heenan together might finally end the reign of Hulkamania. Then again, it's Hulk Hogan we're talking about. Rougeaus and Rockers make it to the finals. Both teams earned it and I'm sure will put on a classic at SNME. This is 80s WWF at its best.

AWA releases Rocky Iaukea, The Sheik, Ricky Rice and Scott Armstrong. AWA picks up Gama Singh, Mike Miller and Timothy Flowers. AWA trades Kevin Kelly and the Killer Bees to the WWF for Steve Keirn, Hurricane Castillo and Miguel Perez.

I have to give it to Bert, he's a true promoter. Wow, look who shows up, none other than RPG! Hahahahahaha, this is going to be gold. Knighton looks tuned up and ready for Michaels. Miss Kentucky and RPG side by side is quite the visual. Things get crazy and we have a big time match to look forward to next week. Great segment. Bert better start stocking the studio with Bert dogs. The show ends on a high note as Reno and Baxter take down those no good Cuban Assassins. Can't wait for Spooktacular!

Looks like Regal's going to get a push. Hennig's been looking good. The Diamond Exchange have quickly become the hottest faction in wrestling. Yea, not sure Haynes should start tangling with Albright, while he's focusing on a title shot. Tenryu is tearing it up. More trouble in the Playboy Club. It's so surreal watching Buddy trying to play it clean. Cow Palace, A 20 minute tag team draw is one heck of a way to kick things off. I have a feeling the Steamboats are going to align. Seems like the Diamond Exchange keep getting the better of Hart. LOL, looks like Cornette's racket has met its match. Damn, Windham is having the reign of a lifetime. Fresno, Anvil once again impresses in Fresno. What ever happened between Burke and Finlay somehow helped Spicoli break his losing streak. 'Crusher' seems like a fitting name for Adams. Chono's future here is bright. Look at that, Severn and Albright rekindle their past feud with a hard hitting draw. Cheetah Kid keeps the LHW scene rolling with another exciting main event win. Bring on Calgary. You always made this annual battle royal feel special.

AWA TV @ The Hammond Center 10-13-88 This week's show comes from an empty Hammond Center. It's a highlight show of Brawls in St. Paul along with ringside interviews. Iceman Parsons: (Holding his newly won TV title) Oh baby! I'm flying high and on top of the world! I told Brian Adias I would deal with him in St. Paul and I did just that. It feels so good to be the AWA TV and I won't duck any challenge. Sign your name and brother I'm there! Brian Adias: I can't believe the travesty that took place in St. Paul! I have filed a protest and will talk to Gerry Morrow face to face next week. Parsons! That's my title and trust me, it's coming back. Your reign will be voided and mine will continue. It's as simple as that. Gerry Morrow, I look forward to talking with you next week and I know you'll see things my way. The AWA World Tag Team Champs the Guerreros cut a promo and say they're united more than ever and plan to hold on to these titles for a long time. Baby Doll speaks on behalf of the AWA National Tag Champs Badd Co. She says Badd Co. are the coolest team in wrestling and will be the team of the 90s. And yes, Badd Co. will still be champions in the 90s. El Canek cuts a promo with Subtitles and says Greg Gagne better talk to the Sheik if he plans on sending in more goons to collect a bounty. Paul Orndorff: Mr. Wonderful came into the AWA with a bang and the momentum is getting stronger and stronger. I see some gold in the near future. Tiger Jeet Singh, Buzz Sawyer and Kokina are together. They're sporting some bandages and bruises. Singh: I want to say Jumbo Tsuruta opened our eyes. Abbuda Iaukea was the weak link of the Asylum and lost a battle for us. The Asylum accepts no weak links. Which is why Buzz Sawyer is now officially one of us. Next week our new leader will arrive and then the Asylum will reign supreme over the entire AWA! Dream Machine is standing with Gary Young. Dream: Olympia! You think you got one over on us, well think again babay! Next time you see us, we're going to put you down and rip that stupid mask off your head and exposed that ugly face of yours! Young: Olympia, you took the coward's way out in St. Paul but sooner or later you'll have to be a man and meet me face to face. Olympia: Those guys never shut up, do they? You listen to me Dream, if you and your lacky want another shot at me, come and get it! Crusher Blackwell: I told everybody the old Crusher would be back and I proved that. Let that be a message to every big man in the AWA. I'm the biggest and baddest here! Scott Putski , Vinnie Valentino and Lanny Poffo were all scheduled for interviews but they all no showed. Tom Brandi: Getting a big win at Brawls in St. Paul was a true highlight for me. I'm excited to continue my winning ways in the AWA. The Olympians (Patera and Rheingans) congratulate Synergy on a hard fought match in St. Paul but we were the better team. Olympians say they're looking forward to more clean and competitive matches with teams like the Gunslingers, Venomous and eventually the Guerreros. The Glamour Boys cut a promo and said the reason they attacked the Fantastics with chairs after the match was because the Fantastics needed a wake up call. Venomous cut a promo and end it by holding up the Killer Bees masks. DJ Peterson: 3 years, 3 years Kevin Kelly and I were at war. It was a long and brutal road but it finally came to an end in St. Paul. Now that that's finally over, it's time to move on. The Wild Ones (Johnny and Davey Rich) say they should be the world champs right now. They were cheated. They also say they're going to take out all their frustrations on those dirty Rose Cousins. The Rose Cousins say the Richs are nothing but poor losers and crossed the line by interfering in their National tag title bout in St. Paul. The Rose's are getting payback. Bank on it! Ray Stevens is with Jumbo Tsuruta Stevens: Everybody wants to know why Jumbo powerbombed Abbuda Iaukea. It's real simple. Jumbo Tsuruta does not lose! Losing is unacceptable to Jumbo! Now that that's settled, here are our intentions. We want the AWA world title! Kerry Von Erich is with Carlos Colon, Tatsumi Fujinami and the Gunslingers. They're bandaged and bruised as well. Kerry: The five of us walked into WarGames and came out victorious! Now, we all have goals to pursue but we'll always be there for each other. And Terry Gordy, I have never avoided you. You're in the AWA now and I'm not a hard man to find. Anytime! Anyplace! Larry Zbyszko: (holding his Mid American title) Brawls in St. Paul was such a glorious event, because I got to teach young Jeff Jarrett a wrestling lesson in front of his spudhead dad. Nikita Koloff: (AWA world title on his shoulder) A lot of people thought the odds were against me. I know Tony Atlas and Norvell Austin did. Well, Nikita prove them wrong and put them down. As for you Sgt. Slaughter, you badmouth the fans for supporting Nikita. You call me the enemy. Nikita love this country! The fans have embraced Nikita. Nikita loves his fans! If you want a shot at my title, you earn it and we will settle this! AWA Major League Wrestling's regular format returns next week.

Hahahahaha, I agree with LST, I'm amazed and beyond impressed that you can keep track of all this is your head. I would have a stack of papers sitting next to me LOL. First Lightfoot upsets Kamala and now Golden gets one over on Orton. I like that you keep us guessing. Manny is fired up and is now in the running. Wow, Prichard eeks out a win in the battle of the Freebirds. If there's one team that can go toe to toe with the Warriors, it's the Beasts! Looks like there's some crucial matches next week.

The figures have been a weekly highlight. It must be a fun hobby. All roads lead to Hogan and Savage in the cage. It'll be very interesting to see which path you take here. The Bulldogs have some serious momentum going in the tournament. I was picking the Rockers but now I'm not so sure. I wonder what's going on with Rotunda, Sullivan and the Steiners. I'm hoping we get the Varsity Club. The house shows have been a fun addition. It gives us an inside look at the pecking order. Martel is taking some beatings and might want to be more open to Tito's kindness. I really want to see Muta rise to the top here. He could be a great IC champ.

Sorry for falling behind. I'm really enjoying what you're doing here. You put together a roster of rarely used talent and made it work, The Michaels/Knighton feud is a perfect example of patience and storytelling. You slowly built this up for months and it's going to turn into a hot money making main event program. Tojo has that tag team title mojo. Him and Jaimee will be fun to watch. Along those lines, the Miss Kentucky angle is another example of solid storytelling. We tuned in every week to see if Jaimee would accept her offer. He didn't and now we have another hot program with Bruno getting involved. Again, this all makes sense with the history. I'm with the Assassin. The Renestos have been overlooked for far too long. Are we seeing seeds planted for a heel ref. I'm going to keep an eye on that Davis character. He could be dangerous. Moondog Morton hahahahaha, he's the ideal partner for Bruno. Looks like Reno and Baxter have a war coming up with the Cubans. Well, King and Weiss keep coming up short, but I know their day is coming LOL. In our world, it's cool seeing a smaller promotion doing its thing.

The promos were gold tonight. WCW has a roster full of great talkers and you capture them all so well. BTW, Mando is really shining on the mic. Piper adds so much to the show. He's not afraid to make fun of anyone hahahaha. RnR are the favorites, but man I'm pulling for the Latin Connection. I think Dusty is going to whip some serious butt in the bunkhouse match. Sting's fired up, but I have a feeling the Horsemen are planning something big. Humungous is being built up as an unstoppable monster. Damn good visual. Could Arn be the one to get Piper back to the ring? Valiant's having some fun and Rogers will be looking for payback. Reed is about to explode, and it might be on Gilbert. The Clash has been built up well and I can't wait for the pay off.

AWA Presents BRAWLS IN ST. PAUL Night 2 Larry Nelson: Hello everybody and welcome to night 2 of Brawls in St. Paul. We had a tremendous amount of action last night and I'm sure we'll keep the momentum up tonight. We've got the huge wargames match and 2 title matches. Plus, Ken Resnick will be interviewing yet another big name that has signed with the AWA. Ok, let's get this night going. Synergy vs. The Olympians There's a lot of tension between these two teams and things get heated when the Olympians try to start the match with a handshake. Synergy calms down, then agrees, but instead of shaking hands with the Olympians, they stereo dropkick them out of the ring. The crowd cheers Synergy on as they pump their fists while the Olympians are throwing a tantrum on the outside. During the opening minutes, Synergy dominates with quick in and out tags, fast paced offense, crisp double team maneuvers and several near falls on both Rheingans and Patera. The Olympians finally get it together and control a segment with a combination of Patera's strength and power along with Rheingan's elite scientific wrestling skills. After 10 minutes, Synergy gets the upper hand as Armstrong hits Rheingans with a reverse flying press. Armstrong roll over and tags in Rice. Rice goes to town with dropkicks and hip tosses on both Olympians. After several run ins by Patera, Armstrong has enough and all 4 men are in the ring going at it. The Ref is able to get things under control as he guides Armstrong back to his corner. While that is happening, Rice has Rheingans up for a suplex but Patera comes from behind and lowblows Rice. Rheingans falls on top of Rice as the Ref runs over and counts 1..2..3! The Olympians roll out of the ring. Armstrong tends to his partner. Armstrong gets pissed when the Olympians applaud him and give him a thumbs up for a good match. Winners of the Match- The Olympians Mr. Olympia vs. 'The Fortunate One' Gary Young w/Dream Machine This one starts with a bang as the former members of Gagne's Gang go toe to toe. Dream Machine tries to get involved but Olympia atomic drops Young into Dream and Dream goes flying through the ropes. Olympia gives Young a good thrashing. Olympia swings off the ropes but Dream grabs his foot. Olympia goes out after Dream and chases him around the ring. Olympia snatches Dream and is ready to punch him down but Young comes from behind and nails Olympia with a forearm blast. Young slides into the ring and distracts the Ref as Dream slams Olympia down on the concrete. Dream hurls Olympia back in the ring. Young breaks all the rules as he works over Olympia. Dream gets his shots in as well. Young gets frustrated because he can't put Olympia away. Young hurls Olympia out of the ring and distracts the Ref. Dream picks up Olympia and swings him towards the steel post but Olympia reverses it and swings Dream into the post! Young goes to the apron and jumps off to give Olympia a double axe handle but Olympia punches him in the gut. Young flips over and down. Dream is on the ground and puts a foreign object into his mask. Dream staggers up. The Ref starts the count. Olympia swings Young into Dream. Olympia picks up both men by their heads and knocks them together. Olympia slides back into the ring as the Ref hits 10. Dream and Young are laid out on the outside as the Ref raises Olympia's arm. Winner of the Match by C.O.- Mr. Olympia The Fantastics vs. The Glamour Boys There's been a bit of friction between these two teams. The opening minutes are fast, furious and aggressive but clean. The match is back and forth with both teams impressing the fans with some high octane offense and text book tag team wrestling. The double team and stereo moves are top notch and keep the fans on the edge of their seats. Each team control segments but the tide turns often. After 15 minutes of roller coaster action, the Fantastics are in control. They nail Simpson with a double hot shot. Fulton covers but Doll runs in and gives Fulton a jumping knee drop to break the pin. Rogers thinks that was over the top and runs in to confront Doll. Doll and Rogers argue then start shoving each other. The Ref breaks them up and escorts Rogers back to his corner. As Fulton gets up, Doll clotheslines him down, then goes back to his corner. Simpson rolls over and tags in Doll. Doll works over Fulton and tags in Simpson. They swing Fulton to the ropes and hit a double flapjack. Simpson covers but Rogers runs in and breaks it with a jumping elbow drop. This brings in Doll and once again a shoving match develops. The Ref gets order and both men go back to their corners. Simpson and Fulton start to rise, Fulton crawls under Simpson's legs and tags in Rogers. Rogers is on fire as he goes off on Simpson. Rogers hits a dropkick from the middle ropes and covers but Doll breaks it with a hard stomp to the head. Simpson is finally able to roll over and tag in Doll. Rogers and Doll let out all their tension and hammer away on each other. It gets so intense that Fulton and Simpson run in, which turns into a brawl. The Glamour Boys get the upper hand and swing the Fantastics to the ropes. The Glamour Boys go for back drops but both Fantastics hit stereo sunset flips. The Ref counts both men 1..2..3! Both teams pause and regroup. They are face to face. Finally, the Glamour Boys extend their hands. The Fantastics pause, then smile and shake hands. The fans cheer. The Glamour Boys pat the Fantastics backs and exit. The Fantastics celebrate. WHAM! From behind the Glamour Boys hit the Fantastics with chairs! The fan's boos are deafening. The Glamour Boys start brutally beating down on the Fantasics with the chairs. Officials rush in the ring. The Glamour Boys throw the chairs down and leave. Winners of the Match- The Fantastics. AWA TV Title Bout 'The A-Lister' Brian Adias (C) vs. Iceman Parsons Parsons electrifies the crowd as he enters the ring to 'We are Family' by Sister Sledge. The cheers turn to boos as Adias arrogantly enters the ring wearing sunglasses. He pulls out a towel and shines his TV title, then raises it towards Parsons and yells "You don't deserve this" The Ref wants to signal for the bell but Adias is yelling at the ring attendant. Adias doesn't trust him with his sunglasses. Adias now refuses to take off his sunglasses and give them to the attendant. The Ref is warning Adias but Adias pushes him off and continues yelling at the attendant. The Ref finally signals for the bell. Adias still wont take off his sunglasses. Parsons swings off the ropes. Adias turns around as Parsons nails him with the Hip Attack. Adias's sunglasses go flying off as Parsons covers 1..2..3!!!!! HUGE POP! The fans are going wild. The Ref hands Parsons the title. Parsons is celebrating big time. Adias is still dazed. He tries to stand but falls back down. Parsons goes out and celebrates with the fans. They hug him as he holds the title high. Winner of the match and NEW AWA TV Champ- Iceman Parsons Intermission AWA C.O.O. Gerry Morrow talks about the highlights from last night and also congratulates the new TV champ Iceman Parsons. 'Crippler' Rip Oliver vs. Crusher Blackwell These guys have had quite the altercations and don't waste any time getting things started. It's not pretty but it's hard hitting. The first couple minutes is just a slugfest with neither man getting the upper hand. They end up on the outside and continue trading blows. They finally get back in the ring. Blackwell rakes Oliver's eyes to take control. Blackwell slams Oliver down and stomps away. Blackwell picks Oliver up, swings him to the ropes and puts him down with a back elbow smash. Blackwell drops a big elbow 1..2..Kick Out. Blackwell swings Oliver to the corner and charges in with a running knee to the mid section. Blackwell hip tosses Oliver over. Blackwell hits a standing leg drop 1..2..Oliver gets his shoulder up. Blackwell is mad. He swings Oliver to the corner and charges in for an avalanche but Oliver moves. Blackwell is body first against the turnbuckles. The fans fire Oliver up. Oliver slowly rises and pumps his fists. He grabs Blackwell's head and slams it on the top turnbuckle several times. Oliver clamps on a headlock and punches Blackwell's head several times, then executes a bulldog 1..2..Kick Out. Oliver swings Blackwell to the ropes and clotheslines him. Blackwell is staggering. Oliver swings off the ropes and this time clotheslines Blackwell down. Oliver hops on the middle ropes and comes down with a forearm drop 1..2..Kick Out. Oliver goes to the middle ropes and waits. Blackwell staggers up. Oliver leaps off but Blackwell uses the momentum to catch Oliver and powerslam him over 1..2..Oliver barley kicks out. Both men are slowly moving around on the canvas. Blackwell slowly grabs Oliver, swings him into the corner and charges in for the avalanche! Oliver staggers out and falls down backwards. Blackwell hits the big splash 1..2..3! Winner of the match- Crusher Blackwell. Non-Sanctioned NO DQ Bounty Match El Canek vs. The Sheik Greg Gagne has put a 100,000 dollar bounty on El Canek and the Sheik is here to collect. Sheik comes down the aisle and looks thirsty for blood. He takes off his ring attire and carefully sets it down on the ringside table. The fans cheer as Canek comes out. Canek's arm is bandaged due to that fireball attack by Sheik weeks ago. The Ref's only here to confirm a winner. Sheik runs up the aisle and the fight is on! It's nothing but punches as they tear into each other. Canek uses his strength and pushes Sheik into the guardrail. Canek slams Sheik's head on the rail, then picks him up and slams him down on the concrete. Canek drags Sheik down the aisle and swings him into the ringside steps. Canek picks up Sheik and delivers a vertical suplex on the concrete. Sheik is hurt but he reaches in his tights and pulls out a foreign object. Sheik still can't get up. Canek reaches down but Sheik hits his eye with the foreign object. Canek falls back holding his eye. Sheik slowly moves around and staggers up favoring his back. He slowly moves towards Canek and digs into his mask with the object. Sheik grabs Canek's hand and starts biting his fingers. Sheik chokes Canek. Sheik grabs a cable and chokes Canek with it. Sheik starts angrily stomping on Canek's back. Sheik then applies the camel clutch! Sheik has a sadistic look as he wrenches away. The fans cheer Canek on. Canek uses all his strength and slowly rises with Sheik on his back. Canek runs backwards and slams Sheik into the steel post. Both men fall down. Canek is hurting bad. Sheik slowly crawls over to his ring attire on the table. He pulls out something and plays with it. Canek slowly rises. Sheik walks towards Canek. Sheik lights a fireball but as he throws it, Canek kicks it in his face! Sheik is falling back as Canek clotheslines him down. Sheik's on the ground holding his face. The Ref frantically runs over to Sheik. Canek gets on the apron and hits a jumping leg drop on Sheik. The Ref has seen enough and stops the match. He quickly raises Canek's arm. Canek is hurting but walks out of there. Medics rush to attend to Sheik. The fans are still in a bit of shock. Winner of the Match- El Canek AWA National Tag Team Title Bout Badd Co. (C) w/Baby Doll vs. The Rose Cousins Judging by the opening minutes, the champs and Baby Doll might've seriously underestimated the Roses. The Roses look focused, in sync and determined as they take Badd Co. to school. The momentum finally changes when a desperate Baby Doll reaches in and scratches Pat's face. Badd Co. regroup and turn it up. They work over Pat with several double team maneuvers but can't put him away. They swing Pat to the ropes but miss a double clothesline, Pat swings back, clotheslines but men down and tags in Randy. Randy pounds away on both men and sends Diamond through the ropes with a punch. Randy hits Tanaka with a Russian Leg Sweep 1..2..Tanaka gets his foot on the rope. The Roses continue to work over Tanaka. Pat almost puts him away with a jaw breaker but Diamond makes the save. Pat tags in Randy. They double suplex Tanaka 1..2..Diamond breaks it. Pat runs in but the Ref guides him back, which allows Diamond to hit a backbreaker on Randy. Tanaka slowly makes the tag to Diamond. This time Randy is in peril as Badd Co. work him over. Diamond chokes Randy on the middle ropes as Tanaka swings off the ropes, leapfrogs over Diamond and hits a body guillotine on Randy. Tanaka covers but Pat breaks it. Diamond runs in but Pat pounds him back to the corner. Baby Doll is screaming at the Ref. Pat goes back to his corner and cheers Randy on. Randy finally makes the tag. Tanaka tags in Diamond at the same time. Diamond and Pat go toe to toe. Diamond goes for a big roundhouse but Pat ducks and hits a back suplex 1..2..Kick Out. Pat swings Diamond to the ropes and puts him down with a high knee 1..2..Tanaka breaks it. Diamond runs in and we've got a fight. During the chaos, Baby Doll gets on the apron and starts yelling at the Ref. The Ref runs over and is telling her to get down. The Rose's hurl Tanaka out of the ring. Randy gets on the turnbuckles. Pat hoists Diamond up and sets him on Randy's shoulder. Randy crashes down with the Rose Bomb! Hold On! The Rich's (in street clothes) run in and attack the Roses! They hurl Pat out of the ring and hit Randy with a double front face suplex. The Rich's get out of there. Baby Doll is now telling the Ref to turn around. The Ref does as Diamond rolls over on Randy. The ref runs over and counts 1..2..3! BOOOOOOOO Winners of the match and STILL AWA National Tag Team Champs- Badd Co. As the cage is being set up for War games, Ken Resnick is at the top of the aisle. Resnick: Well, thanks to the Wild Ones, Badd Company retains. What an event this has been. It's not over yet as we prepare for the War Games. Fans, right now it is my honor and privilege to welcome to the AWA a true American patriot. Please welcome Sgt. Slaughter! The fans get up and cheer as Sgt. Slaughter walks out in his full Military gear. He looks around and nods his head. Resnick: Sgt. Slaughter, judging by this reaction, the fans are happy to see you here in the AWA. Welcome. Slaughter: (looks around and takes it all in) As I look around this arena, the only thing I want to do is puke! The fans get quiet and Resnick is dumb founded. Slaughter: That's right! All you maggots (looks at Resnick) and you make me sick! It makes me sick that you people cheer a commie red as your world champion. I've been watching this sickening behavior and knew I had to come to the AWA and clean house. That's right! Sgt. Slaughter is going to restore law and order here in the AWA. Nikita Koloff! Listen up and listen good. My mission is to end your evil reign of terror and to make things right again. You don't belong here and I despise everything you represent. (looks at the crowd) You people are the reason why this country is becoming weak. You welcome and support a commie like Nikita Koloff. Sgt. Slaughter is going to put a stop to that. By any means necessary I will take the world title from Nikita Koloff and bring it back to where it belongs. (looks at Resnick) You're dismissed! Resnick is speechless The WAR GAMES MATCH! 2 rings inside a steel cage Kerry Von Erich/Carlos Colon/Tatsumi Fujinami/The Gunslingers vs. Abbuda Iaukea/Tiger Jeet Singh/Kokina/Buzz Sawyer and Jumbo Tsuruta w/Ray Stevens The light show and ominous music starts as the heels make their way down the aisle. Sawyer is choking himself with his chain. Singh is swinging his sword around. Abbuda has a sadistic smile. Kokina just looks menacing as he lets out a yell into the camera. Ray Stevens is talking with a very focused and stoic Jumbo Tsuruta. The place goes nuts as the baby faces come out, but there's a commotion. Terry Gordy is coming out and yelling at Kerry Von Erich. Security holds Gordy back and finally escorts him out. Kerry gets focused and walks his team down the aisle. Colon, Tatsumi and the Gunslingers have hell in their eyes as they get to the cage. The coin is flipped to determine the advantage and of course the heels win. Abbuda shakes the cage and gets in first. Kerry runs in the cage and the match is on! Kerry speres Iaukea and unloads with punches. Kerry picks up Iaukea by his hair and slams him head first into the cage. Kerry picks up Iaukea and rams his face several times into the cage. Iaukea is a bloody mess when the buzzer goes off. Tiger Jeet Singh runs in. Kerry is ready and unloads on Singh. Iaukea is lying in the corner. Kerry pinballs Singh around the ring and is in total control until Iaukea finally wakes up and hits Kerry from behind. Singh and Iaukea stomp down on Kerry, pick him up and double slam him down. They pick up Kerry and hurl him into the cage. The buzzer goes off. Scott Casey gets in there with fists flying. He back drops Singh, then dropkicks Iaukea down. Casey's cleaning house until Singh clips him from behind. Singh and Iaukea start to work him over, but Kerry comes from ring 1, leaps into ring 2 and clotheslines both men down. The buzzer sounds. Buzz Sawyer runs in like a mad man, grabs Casey from behind and hurls him into the cage. Kerry and Buzz have a slugfest. Iaukea and Singh hurl Casey into ring 1 and work him over. Kerry kicks Sawyer and suplexes him over, then goes into ring 1 to help Casey. Just as Sawyer gets up, the buzzer sounds. Carlos Colon storms in there and tackles Sawyer. Colon punches away on Sawyer, picks him up, hoists him on his shoulder and rams Sawyer face first into the cage. Sawyer is busted open. In ring 1, Kerry and Casey have the upper hand until the buzzer sounds. Kokina gets in there. Casey turns around and Kokina hits him with a spin kick. Kerry turns around, Kokina grabs him and choke slams him down. Kokina, Singh and Iaukea take it to Kerry and Casey. Colon jumps into ring 1 and punches away on all 3 men. Sawyer gets in ring 1 and clotheslines Colon from behind, picks him up and grinds his face into the cage. Colon's bleeding. Casey and Iaukea are bloody messes as well. Singh, Iaukea and Kokina hurl Kerry into ring 2 and follow. The buzzer sounds. Johnny Mantell runs in. Iaukea charges and gets back dropped. Singh charges and gets clotheslined down. Kokina grabs Mantell but Kerry grabs Kokina, swings him around and unloads with punches. Mantell helps Casey up and the Gunslingers hammer away on Singh and Iaukea. In ring 1, Colon and Sawyer continue to have a bloody battle. The buzzer sounds. Stevens pats Jumbo on the back as Jumbo enters the cage. Colon turns around as Jumbo nails him with a running knee to the face. Jumbo goes to ring 1. The Gunslingers turn around as Jumbo lariats both men down! That gets a reaction from the crowd. As Kerry is hitting Kokina. Jumbo grabs Kerry from behind and hits a high German suplex. It's all Jumbo until the buzzer sounds. Tatsumi gets inside. Everyone's in! It's War time! Tatsumi and Jumbo have a furious chop exchange. They chop away until both men's chests are bleeding. The Gunslingers, Singh and Iaukea take their fight to ring 2. Sawyer is choking and biting Colon in ring 2. In ring 1, Kokina slams Kerry down and follows with an earth shattering leg drop. Tatsumi grabs Jumbo and applies the abdominal stretch. The Gunslingers hit a double bulldog on Singh, then grab Sawyer and hurl him into the cage. Colon gets up, picks up Sawyer and grinds his bloody face into the cage. Kokina goes into ring 2 and mows over the Gunslingers. In ring 1, Kerry is still down. Jumbo hip tosses Tatsumi to get out of the abdominal stretch. Jumbo regroups, hops on the turnbuckles and crashes down on Tatsumi with a knee drop. Singh gets into ring 2 but the Gunslingers follow and take him down. In ring 1, Colon is making Sawyer suffer but Kokina and Iaukea attack Colon and beat him down. In ring 2, Jumbo grabs Mantell and hurls him into the cage. Casey runs over but Jumbo back drops him into the cage. This allows Singh to go over and inflict pain on the Gunslingers. Jumbo goes into ring 1. Tatsumi grabs Singh, kicks him and piledrives him down. In ring 1, Kokina, Iaukea, Sawyer and Jumbo are taking it to Colon. The fans go nuts as Kerry leaps into ring 1 and unloads with a vengeance. Kerry hurls Sawyer into ring 1, where Tatsumi is there to work him over. Kerry dropkicks Jumbo down. Kokina comes over but Kerry unloads on him. In ring 2, Singh is up and clotheslines Tatsumi from behind. Singh and Sawyer double team Tatsumi until the Gunslingers revive and help him out. They all battle in ring 2. Colon dives into ring 2 and unleashes on Sawyer. Jumbo gets into ring 2 and sends Mantell flying with a gut wrench suplex. Jumbo and Tatsumi start their battle again. In ring 1, Kerry is taking it to Kokina and Iaukea. Kerry hurls Iaukea into the cage. Kokina nails Kerry from behind. Kokina swings Kerry to the ropes but misses a clothesline, Kerry swings back and clotheslines Kokina. Kokina is wobbling as Kerry picks him up and body slams him down! Iaukea slowly staggers up but Kerry spins around and nails him with a discuss punch! Kerry jumps down and applies the claw on Iaukea! Kerry wrenches away on Iaukea's bloody face. The Ref on the outside runs over and sees that Iaukea is out. The Ref signals for the bell. The crowd roars. Kerry rises and holds his arms up in triumph. After things settle down, Kerry, Colon, Tatsumi and the Gunslingers exit to cheers. You can tell they've been through a war but they are victorious. Ray Stevens gets inside the ring. He's talking with Jumbo and pointing over at Iaukea. Sawyer, Kokina and Singh are battered and trying to clear the cob webs. Jumbo walks over to Iaukea, picks him up and powerbombs him down! Stevens escorts Jumbo out of the cage as Sawyer, Kokina and Singh process all this. Winners of the War Games- Kerry Von Erich, Carlos Colon, Tatsumi Fujinami and the Gunslingers Nelson: My goodness! I need to catch my breath after watching that. Truly a historic battle we'll never forget. It appears Jumbo Tsuruta doesn't like to lose. Well, you all saw it, Kerry Von Erich seals the deal for his team. What a weekend this has been. Thank you all for being a part of Brawls in St. Paul. The event certainly lived up to its name. The Diamond Exchange has taken PCW by storm. It appears Harts and friends have big targets on their backs. Adams return might've been overshadowed by Steamboat's, but he is really finding his groove. I like that you're incorporating Buddy's weight here. I've heard stories that despite his weight, he was an incredible athlete. SCS better keep that in mind while joking around. Lee and Cactus could turn into one of PCW's hardest hitting feuds. Haynes just made a STRONG statement with that submission win over Backlund. Portland, I wonder if Payne is looking to take down the NOE one by one. Hall felt that one. However, that won't be enough to slow him down. He's been through worse here. That tag team match was a great way to showcase the LHW talent. Steamboat's one step ahead of Regal's brass knuckles. Trouble's seriously brewing in the Playboy Club. Windham once again looks strong by taking down the CA champ. I'm loving the build to him and Haynes. Eugene, I like how the show started and ended with the LHW's. This division is nothing short of amazing. Barr's really gone off the deep end, but it seems to be paying off. Albright shines and that's saying something considering who was involved in this match. Has any young talent been on a hotter role than Christopher? It's obvious the war between Burke and Finlay is far from over. There is literally something for everyone here in Pacific.

AWA presents BRAWLS IN ST. PAUL NIGHT 1 Larry Nelson: Hello everybody and welcome to the first night of Brawls in St. Paul. We've got two nights of non stop action coming your way. Tonight's card will be headlined by the AWA world title bout. You'll also see the world tag team title bout as well as the Mid American title bout. All that plus a very special Beauty Shop. Brenda has promised us a huge guest tonight. Ok, let's get to the action. Scott 'Powerhouse' Putski vs. 'Thrilling' Tom Brandi The match starts with a handshake. Both men are in tremendous shape. The first few minutes is back and forth as they pretty much mirror each other with high octane offense and power moves. Putski takes control with a back elbow smash. Putski works Brandi over with forearm blasts, body slams and knee drops but can't put Brandi away. Brandi turns the tide with a back drop and follows that momentum with drop kicks, hip tosses and elbow drops but Putski stays alive. Brandi slams Putski and goes to the top rope, leaps off and comes down with a flying elbow drop but Putski moves. Putski and Brandi are lying side by side. Both men stagger up. Putski grabs Brandi and hits a bridging back suplex 1..2..(Brandi lifts his shoulder)..3! Putski jumps up and celebrates but the Ref reaches down and raises Brandi's arm. Pustki is questioning the Ref and the Ref explains what happened. Brandi stands up and offers a handshake to Putski. Putski is upset and just walks away. Brandi is puzzled but pumps his fist to the fans. Winner of the Match- Tom Brandi The Bruisers vs. Coast to Coast w/The Vin Man The bell rings and both teams start brawling. Things get rough and Vinnie leaps over the top rope to get outta there. Bruisers get the upper hand and stereo clothesline Tatum and Victory over the top rope. Vinnie rushes over to regroup his men as Busick and Strong soak in the cheers. The Ref gets control as Tatum and Strong start things off. Strong has Tatum pinballing all over the ring. Tatum looks like he wants to cry as he tags in Victory. Victory charges but Strong back drops him and tags in Busick. They swing Victory to the ropes and put him down with a double back elbow smash. Busick swings Victory to the ropes and clotheslines him down 1..2..Tatum drops an elbow on Busick's head. Strong runs in but the Ref guides him back. This allows Tatum to suplex Busick. Tatum goes back to the corner as Victory crawls over and tags him in. Tatum drags Busick to the ropes and chokes him on the bottom rope. Tatum grabs the top rope and drops several knees on Busick. Victory hops down and chokes Busick on the bottom rope as Tatum swings off the opposite ropes and hits a body guillotine on Busick. Tatum tags in Victory. Tatum holds Busick as Victory comes off the top rope with a fist to the face. Tatum and Victory double suplex Busick. Victory covers but Strong breaks it. Tatum comes in but Strong knocks him through the ropes. The Ref guides Strong back. Victory slams Busick, goes to the middle ropes and comes down with a knee drop 1..2..Kick Out. Victory tags in Tatum. They swing Busick to the ropes but miss a double clothesline, Busick swings back and clotheslines both men, then tags in Strong. Strong is pumped up and takes it to Tatum and Victory. Strong hurls Victory out of the ring. Strong picks up Tatum and hits an overhead suplex. Strong grabs Tatum and executes a gut buster, then tags in Busick. Busick applies the stump puller on Tatum! Victory runs in but Strong clotheslines him down, then hurls him over the top rope. Busick still has Tatum in the stump puller. As the Ref goes over to check on Tatum, Vinnie runs in the ring and starts kicking Busick. The Ref signals for the DQ. Strong walks over and pulls up Vinnie by his hair. Vinnie is pleading for his life. Strong swings Vinnie to the ropes and powerslams him! Busick picks up Vinnie, swings him to the ropes and hits the spinebuster slam! Vinnie's out, the fans are cheering as the Bruisers fist bump each other. Winners of the Match by DQ- The Bruisers Last Man Standing Match! 'Dynamite' DJ Peterson vs. 'Mr. Magnificent' Kevin Kelly w/The Vin Man Kelly seems a bit distraught because after what just happened. Looks like the Vin Man won't be joining him tonight. DJ seems to be in high spirits because now he won't have to deal with Vinnie's distractions. The bell rings. These two are face to face. 3 years of feuding comes down to this match. They start trading verbal jabs, then have a shoving match which leads to an all out slugfest. They spend the first few minutes just hammering away on each other with hard fists. The tide turns several times and eventually both men are busted open and bleeding. They keep fighting in and out of the ring. On the outside, Kelly swings DJ into the steel post. DJ hits hard and staggers back as Kelly applies his full nelson! Kelly wrenches away, swings DJ around like a rag doll and tosses him on the cement. DJ is down and hurting as the Ref starts the 10 count. DJ starts to rise but Kelly kicks him back down, which just means the Ref has to start the count over. This pisses Kelly off even more but all that does is delay the count. The Ref finally continues the count. DJ is able to rise at 9. Kelly grabs him and hurls him into the ring. Kelly goes to the top rope. DJ staggers up as Kelly leaps off but DJ flips him over with a punch to the gut. The fans fire DJ up. Kelly rises as DJ grabs him, swings him to the ropes and puts him down with a shoulder block. Kelly staggers up as DJ swings off the ropes and puts him down with another shoulder block. DJ body slams Kelly, then dives down, pulls Kelly's head up by his hair and just pounds away on Kelly's face. DJ grabs Kelly's head and bounces it several times on the canvas. DJ Boos as Coast to Coast run down the aisle. Cheers as the Bruisers come down after them and fight them back up the aisle. DJ goes to the top rope. Kelly slowly staggers up as DJ nails him with the flying shoulder tackle. DJ picks up Kelly and applies a full nelson! DJ wrenches away, swings Kelly around and tosses him across the ring. The Ref starts the count. The fans count along 1..2..3..4..5..6..7..8..9..10! BIG POP! DJ simply raises his arms in triumph. He looks down at Kelly and actually gives him a slight nod of respect. Winner of the Match- DJ Peterson 'Mr. Wonderful' Paul Orndorff vs. 'Luscious' Lanny Poffo The bell rings and Poffo's antics are at an all time high as he skips around the ring and taunts Orndorff. They go to lock up but Poffo ducks it, then skips around with joy. They go to lock up again and Poffo does the same thing, then points his finger to his temple. They try it a third time and once again, Poffo ducks it. Poffo smiles and gives Orndorff a double bicep pose. They go to lock up again, but this time Orndorff kicks Poffo in the gut and follows with a gut wrench suplex. Poffo staggers up as Orndorff scoop slams him down, swings off the ropes and hits a delayed knee drop 1..2..Kick Out. Orndorff picks up Poffo and clamps on a headlock then wrenches away and nails the top of Poffo with several fists. Orndorff releases the headlock as Poffo wobbles around and falls down. Orndorff covers 1..2..Kick Out. Orndorff swings Poffo into the corner and charges in but Poffo raises both boots as Orndorff runs right into them. Poffo regroups, picks up Orndorff and slams his head on the top turnbuckle several times. Poffo bites Orndorff's face as the Ref scolds him. Poffo snapmares Orndorff over and follows with a running neck snap. Poffo skips around in sheer delight, then starts stomping away on Orndorff. Poffo picks up Orndorff and hits a delayed vertical suplex 1..2..Kick Out. Poffo berates the Ref. Poffo swings Orndorff to the ropes and puts him down with a dropkick. Poffo does a cartwheel and poses for the booing fans. Poffo slams Orndorff and goes to the top rope. Poffo goes for his moonsault but Orndorff puts his knees up as Poffo crashes down hard on them. Orndorff regroups and looks pissed. Orndorff swings Poffo to the ropes and nails him with a running axehandle. Venomous vs. The Killer Bees As soon as the bell rings, the Bees attack Venomous. They hurl Cobra out of the ring and work over Kat. They swing Kat to the ropes and double back drop him. Cobra goes to the top rope. The Bees turn around as Cobra nails them with a flying body press. The Bees roll out of the ring as Cobra helps Kat up. The Ref gets order. Bee #1 goes after Cobra but Cobra hip tosses him over. Bee #1 staggers up as Cobra takes him over with a flying head scissors followed by a scissor lock. Bee #2 runs in, but Kat dropkicks him back. Bee #1 reaches the ropes as Cobra releases the hold. Cobra swings Bee #1 to the ropes and puts him down with a spin kick, then tags in Kat. Bee #1 staggers up as Kat puts him back down with a roundhouse kick. Kat follows with a snap suplex 1..2..Kick Out. Kat picks up Bee #1 for a suplex but Bee #2 runs in and clips the back of Kat's knees. The Ref guides Bee #2 back. Bee #1 crawls over and tags in Bee#2. Bee#2 stomps down on Kat, then picks him up and hits a backbreaker. Bee#2 hops on the middle ropes and crashes down with an elbow drop 1..2..Kick Out. Bee#2 tags in Bee#1. They swing Kat to the ropes and hit him with a double dropkick 1..2..Cobra breaks it. Bee#2 charges Cobra but Cobra puts him down with a spin kick. The Ref guides Cobra back. Bee#1 swings Kat to the ropes and goes for a back drop but Kat leapfrogs over, jumps on the middle ropes and comes back with a flying back elbow smash on Bee#1. Kat dives over and tags in Cobra. Cobra hits a snap suplex on Bee#1. Bee#2 runs in but Cobra scoop slams him down. Cobra swings Bee#1 to the ropes and puts him down with a front dropkick. Cobra goes to the top rope but Bee#2 runs over and pushes Cobra off. Bee#1 rolls over and tags in Bee#2. Bee#2 runs over and slaps Kat. Kat charges in but the Ref guides him back. This allows the Bees to double throat drop Cobra on the top rope. Bee#2 works over Cobra, then tags in Bee#2. Bee#2 slams Cobra as Bee#1 follows with a slingshot splash 1..2..Cobra gets his foot on the rope. The Bees continue to double team Cobra and tag in and out. Bee#2 holds Cobra as Bee#1 comes off the top rope with a missile dropkick but Cobra grabs Bee#2 and pulls him in front as Bee#2 nails his partner with the dropkick. Cobra rolls over and tags in Kat. Kat goes off on the Bees with slams, drop kicks, clotheslines and roundhouses. Kat is in control but a knee to the back from Bee#1 stops the momentum. The Bees start double stomping Kat, then swing him to the ropes and double hip toss him. The Bees start going for Kat's mask, but Cobra runs in with fists flying. Kat staggers up and it's a pier six brawl. Kat and Bee#1 are fighting in one corner as Cobra and Bee#2 are fighting in the other. The Bees have the upper hand. They signal to each other and swing Venomous towards each other but Kat leapfrogs over Cobra. Cobra dropkicks Bee#1 as Kat dropkicks Bee#2 back into their corners. Venomous grab the Bees and swing them into each other. The Bees collide and stagger back as Venomous grab them and execute stereo back suplexes 1..2..3! Huge POP! The fans are cheering as Venomous rise. The Bees are dazed and confused. Venomous sit the Bees up, relish the moment, untie the masks and yank them off! To the shock of I'm sure everybody in the arena and the millions watching on pay per view, the Bees are revealed to be Jim Brunzell and Brian Blair. Venomous hold the Bee's masks in the air as the fans cheer. Winners of the Match- Venomous AWA World Tag Team Title Bout The Guerreros (C) vs. The Wild Ones The Wild Ones enter the ring wearing 'Viva La Rich's' shirts. The heated boos turn to deafening cheers as the Guerreros hit the ring and tackle the Wild Ones! They pound away on the Wild Ones, rip off their shirts and start choking them with the shirts. The Ref finally gets order. Holds up the tag titles and signals for the bell. Davey and Johnny are still on the outside and probably regretting making fun of the Guerreros. The Wild Ones start yelling up at the Guerreros. The fans go nuts as the Guerreros perform stereo suicide dives on the Wild Ones. They hurl the Wild Ones back in the ring and the match is on. The opening minutes is all Guerreros as they take turns pinballing the Wild Ones all over the place. The Guerreros are putting on a tag team clinic as they flawlessly work over the Wild Ones with pure wrestling and crisp double team maneuvers. It looked like this was going to be a total mismatch until Hector swung off the ropes and was clotheslined by Johnny (on the apron) from behind. Hector staggers into a clothesline from Davey. Davey then tags in Johnny. The next segment belongs to the Wild Ones as Hector takes quite a beating. Say what you will about the Rich's but they can get down to business in the ring. They use hard hitting moves, brutal double teaming and of course they throw the rulebook out the window. The Wild Ones are on the verge of winning the titles until Davey attempts a back drop and Hector kicks him and makes the hot tag to Chavo. Chavo goes on a tearer as he takes it to the Wild Ones. Chavo works Davey over with a vengeance. He hits a backbreaker, then applies the Boston Crab. As Chavo wrenches away, Johnny runs in and nails Chavo with a boot to the face. Hector runs in but the Ref guides him back. Johnny drags Davey over and tags himself in. Once again, the Wild Ones take control and work over Chavo. They double team more and more until Hector has enough and runs in and dropkicks the Wild Ones down. Hector gets his shots in before going back to his corner. This gives Chavo enough energy to make the tag. Johnny charges but Hector back drops him. Davey gets up but Hector dropkicks him out of the ring. Hector works over Johnny and hoists him up for a slam but Davey comes off the top rope with a double axehandle to the back of Hector's head. Chavo runs in and punches away on Davey. Hector and Johnny stagger up. Hector grabs Johnny, leaps over the top rope and snaps Johnny's head on the top rope. Hector goes to the top rope. Chavo back drops Davey. Davey gets to his knees. Johnny staggers up in front of Davey. Hector leaps off the top rope and hits a flying body press on Johnny. Johnny trips backwards over Davey with Hector on top 1..2..3! BIG POP! The fans are up and cheering as the Guerreros hold their titles high. Winners of the match and still AWA World Tag Team Champs- The Guerreros AWA Mid-American Title Bout 'The Living Legend' Larry Zbyszko (C) vs. CWA's Jeff Jarrett Jerry Jarrett gets cheered as he's announced. He escorts his son to the ring, shakes his hand, waves to the fans and goes to the back. Zbyszko gets major heat as he arrogantly walks to the ring with a smug look. He grabs the mic. "AWWWWW what's the matter? Didn't daddy want to stick around and see me embarrass you tonight? Don't worry, I'm sure he'll stay and powder your behind and give you some sound fatherly advice when I'm through with you. But first I'll give you some. Give it up kid" Zbyszko tosses the mic. Jarrett lets this roll and stays focused. The introductions are made. Zbyszko irks everybody as he takes his sweet time handing the title to the Ref. The bell rings and Zbyszko is so confident that he doesn't play his usual stalling game. They go to lock up but Jarrett grabs Zbyszko and quickly cradles him 1..2..Zbyszko's legs are flailing but he kicks out. Jarrett executes a couple more quick pin attempts, but Zbyszko barley kicks out of them. Zbyszko's off his game now as Jarrett continues to frustrate him with takedowns, arm bars, headlock takeovers, drop toe holds and of course hip tosses and dropkicks. Zbyszko is finally able to roll out of the ring and now he plays the stalling game. Zbyszko finally gets on the apron. Jarrett rushes him but Zbyszko rakes his eyes and snaps him on the top rope. Zbyszko methodically works Jarrett over with his vast martial arts skills. He pushes Jarrett into the corner and connects with a spin kick to the mid section. Zbyszko grabs Jarrett and hits a butterfly suplex 1..2..Kick Out. Zbyszko follows with a variety of suplexes but can't put Jarrett away. Frustration shows as Zbyszko angrily stomps down on Jarrett. Zbyszko hits a fireman's carry slam 1..2..Jarrett gets his shoulder up. Zbyszko picks up Jarrett and hurls him out of the ring. The Ref starts counting. Jarrett tries to get back in the ring but Zbyszko kicks him back down. The Ref backs Zbyszko up. Zbyszko spends too much time yelling at the Ref. Jarrett staggers up to the apron. Zbyszko goes over but Jarrett hits Zbyszko with a shoulder thrust and sunset flips over 1..2..Kick Out. Both men rise as Jarrett back drops Zbyszko over the top rope. Jarrett regroups and fires up. Zbyszko staggers around on the outside and slowly gets on the apron but doesn't want back in the ring. Jarrett runs over, grabs the ropes and slingshots Zbyszko back in the ring. It's all Jarrett as he bounces Zbyszko all over the ring and has him staggering with some hard hitting Memphis punches. Jarrett swings Zbyszko into the corner, hops up on the turnbuckles and hits Zbyszko 10 times as the fans count along. Jarrett monkey flips Zbyszko over. Jarrett hops on the middle ropes and crashes down with a fist drop 1..2..Kick Out. Jarrett swings Zbyszko into the corner but Zbyszko gets tangled up with the Ref. The Ref takes a bump and is down. Jarrett picks up Zbyszko and hits a spinning neckbreaker! Jarrett covers but the Ref is still out. Jarrett stands up and sees the Ref. Jarrett goes to help the Ref. While Jarrett is tending to the Ref, Zbyszko rolls out of the ring and grabs a chair. Jarrett sees that the Ref is moving. WHAM! Zbyszko nails the back of Jarrett's head with the chair! Zbyszko tosses the chair, picks up the lifeless Jarrett and hits a reverse neckbreaker. The Ref rolls over and counts 1..2..3! BOOOOOOOOOO! Jerry Jarrett comes into the ring with the medics. They tend to Jeff as Zbyszko walks over and holds the Mid American title in front of Jerry's face. Winner of the Match and STILL AWA Mid-American Champ- Larry Zbyszko Larry Nelson: What a night it's been and we still have another night of action tomorrow. How about the arrival of Terry Gordy? Unbelievable. Well, the night's not over yet, up next is the big AWA world title bout. AWA WORLD TITLE BOUT 'The Russian Nightmare' Nikita Koloff (C) vs. 'The Man of Steel' Tony Atlas w/Norvell Austin Elaborate entrances for both men. The Light show is in full effect. Norvell is wearing a fancy red tuxedo as he leads Atlas to the ring. Atlas is wearing blue wrestling pants, red boots and a Superman cape. Nikita is all business with his traditional singlet and the world title around his waist. The introductions are made as both men never take their eyes off each other. The Ref holds the title high as Nikita and Atlas continue to stare each other down. The Ref signals for the bell. Atlas gives Nikita a full chest pose and gives him the 'I'm going to break you in half motion' Nikita fires back with a trap pose and tongue out. Atlas goes for a clothesline but Nkita ducks and punches away on Atlas. Nikita scoop slams Atlas. Atlas is shocked and embarrassed. Atlas gets up and charges but Nikita back drops him. Norvell gets on the apron but Nikita knocks him off. Atlas slowly rises but Nikita sends him flying with a knee lift. Atlas rolls to the apron and to the ground. Norvell staggers up and helps Atlas. Nikita goes to the outside and rams their heads together. Nikita hurls Atlas back in the ring. As Atlas staggers up, Nikita swings off the ropes and puts him down with a flying shoulder block 1..2..Kick Out. Nikita hoists Atlas up for a suplex but Norvell reaches in and trips Nikita. Nikita and Atlas crumble down. The Ref yells at Norvell but Norvell denies everything. Both men stagger up. Atlas grabs Nikita and snake eyes him on the top turnbuckle. Atlas clears the cobwebs. Atlas picks up Nikita and body slams him down with authority. Atlas stomps down on Nikita, hops on the middle turnbuckles and comes down with a forearm drop 1..2..Kick Out. Atlas picks up Nikita and shows off his strength by pushing Nikita into the corner. Atlas goes off on Nikita with punches and thrusts. Atlas swings Nikita to the ropes and puts him down with a high knee 1..2..Kick Out. Atlas hoists Nikita up and holds him before dropping him back with a hanging suplex. Atlas swings off the ropes and goes for a jumping knee drop but Nikita moves. Atlas gets up and limps around. Nikita slowly rises. Atlas charges Nikita but Nikita catches him with a quick powerslam 1..2..Kick Out. Nikita punches away on Atlas, swings him to the ropes, kicks him in the gut and snap suplexes him over 1..2..Kick Out. Nikita swings off the ropes but Norvell reaches in and grabs his foot. Nikita shakes him off and goes out after him. Norvell sprints around the ring. Nikita gets his focus back and gets back in the ring but is met with a running forearm blast by Atlas. Atlas puts his muscles to work and batters Nikita with several power moves. Atlas swings Nikita to the ropes and hits a sidewalk slam. Atlas picks up Nikita and in an impressive feat of strength, presses Nikita over his head. Atlas holds him up, then slams him down. Atlas swings off the ropes and hits a body splash! Norvell is celebrating as the Ref counts 1..2..NO! Nikita gets his shoulder up. Both Norvell and Atlas are berating the Ref. Atlas even threatens to hit him. Atlas slowly stands over Nikita. The fans cheer on Nikita as he starts hitting Atlas in the mid section. Nikita keeps hitting him and starts to rise. Atlas takes a big swing but Nikita ducks and atomic drops Atlas into the turnbuckles. Nikita shakes his fists, grabs Atlas and hits a German suplex 1..2..Kick Out. Nikita swings Atlas into the corner and follows with a running forearm blast. Nikita follows with a gut wrench suplex 1..2..Norvell gets on the apron. Nikita gets up and grabs Norvell. Nikita lifts Norvell off his feet and pulls him into the ring. Atlas staggers up and charges Nikita with a high knee but Nikita moves and Atlas sends Norvell flying out of the ring. Nikita swings off the ropes, Atlas turns around as Nikita nails him with the Russian Sickle 1..2..3!!!!!!! The place goes nuts! Night 1 ends with Nikita standing on the turnbuckles, holding the world title high. Winner of the Match and STILL AWA World Champion- Nikita Koloff

It was nice to see Cooley pick up a win in the series. WOW! Look at that, Lightfoot pulls off the upset of the series, and he didn't even use his war club. I'm thinking this is going to piss Kamala off and he's going to go full savage mode. Good call on the Garvin/Fuller match. These guys are evenly matched. I'm enjoying the Hack/Perez feud. You've got a fun mid card gem going.

Duggan, Bulldogs, Rougeaus and Bravo, wow that's a lot of international talent in one ring. Savage must've been pissed, especially since he's gearing up for Hogan. Andre gives Philly a moment they'll never forget.

Things are happening in the WWF! The big news is the upcoming SNME world title bout. Hogan vs. Savage will bring in the ratings! After this week, the Rockers have to be the favorites to win the US tag titles. I like the slow face turn booking of Martel. If there is one guy who can turn a heel, it's HTM. Warrior and Brown are the hot newcomers and you can tell big plans are in store for both. The MSG card was a lot of fun. I hope you do more of these. Like Kev mentioned, you get a good feel of the pecking order here. Hogan looked strong as he awaits Savage.

Yasuto gets the win in a fun opener. I always thought Fleming had incredible talent. This is the perfect place for him to showcase that. Dolman gets an impressive submission win over Miyato. This will certainly get eyes on Dolman. Yamazaki and Nakamura put on a clinic. Nice display of sportsmanship at the end. Give credit to Anjo for not giving up and putting up a fight for Maeda. Maeda does know when to turn it up and he showed that here. I liked that finishing sequence by Takada. I'm sure Vale will live to fight another day. Ok, Vrij is for real. He's earned the fans respect after that huge win over favorite Fujiwara. Another successful show.

I like that Leo has something to sink his teeth into. Him and Finlay are going to tear it up. I think Tenryu knows he's next on Hash's list. Looks like Scotty is going to be PCW's next Playboy Rose. Yea, I think Cornette's had enough of playing by the rules. I like that you always give the mainstays occasional big main event runs. Billy Jack is focused and ready for a PCW title shot. Vancouver, Lynn gets the win as Spicoli's woes continue. Regal and brass knuckles are quite a fit. I figured Eddie would have a hard time dealing with Barr's new antics. I really think this Hall/Taker feud is going to elevate both men. Oh man, the fans got a treat with that Harts/Steamboat's masterpiece. Severn puts up a hard fight, but a healthy Windham is almost unbeatable. Kelowna, Looks like PCW has yet another serious LHW contender in Azul. DDP is working wonders with the Destruction Crew. People better take notice of Albright. The Midnights are in a groove right now. Silver King impresses but man Pillman is rock'n the main events.
