  1. It was meant to be! All is well until Plowboy shows up. I liked how he just pulled Bruno away by the ear LOL. Baxter gets a big TV win over Humperdink and is getting over with the fans. Michaels and the American are looking out for each other. It's good to have friends. I'm really looking forward to Bill Dundee coming in for a bit. Is he in cahoots with Fargo? Will Jamie play a role? A lot could go down. Poor Terrors, they really didn't have a chance. Especially against a pissed off Plowboy. I like where the new storylines are heading.
  2. They say change is good and that's exactly what the AWA needed when it was revived in 1986. This wasn't easy because everybody in the wrestling world knows that Verne Gagne is very, very, very set in his ways. It took a lot of people (Greg included) to get Verne to budge and realize that if the AWA didn't adapt to the changing times, they would perish. Slowly but surely, Verne started giving okays on new ideas. He stayed behind the scenes and went with Gerry Morrow as the on air authority figure. Morrow and Brenda Britton have added some much needed charisma to the TV shows. Over the past 2 years, the AWA has worked on balance. They wanted a blend of International appeal along with a hard hitting southern and rock n roll vibe. They even shelled out big money to celebrities to help get national exposure. After seeing the WrestleRock numbers, Verne held a meeting and finally admitted that change is good. This was a monumental step in the right direction for the AWA. Now that everybody is on the same page, the AWA is fully revived and excited for the future.
  3. I just watched the Adonis dark side of the ring episode, so it was cool seeing his tribute here. Makhan's out but is quickly replaced with Bedlam. Haynes better be on high alert. Then again, maybe it's Bedlam who needs to watch out. Haynes has fared pretty well against monsters. The Cam Am's are off to an incredible start. I know Rose is sweating right now. The finals are set and what a match we're going to get! Pillman vs. Owen could be a match of the year candidate. LA, Since their win over the Malenko's, Stormfront is riding high with confidence. Anyone holding gold better have eyes on Tenryu. 2 of my favorite PCW teams going at it, yea, I can get behind a FOJ/Destruction Crew feud. Brigade wins a battle but I have a feeling Taker is going to want a one on one with Gator. Windham has become a dominant champ. I'm loving his run right now. Shout out to AD for the 'Simply the best' reference. Santa Barbara, Show starts with a barnburner as the LHW's continue to shine. I mentioned this before, but Hashimoto has one of the best finishers in PCW. "Now you're going to see the perfect plex!" Always loved when Hennig yelled that. We might see some mixed tags in the future. Like Windham, Severn has an iron grip on his title. Hmmmmm, maybe a champ vs. champ match? Great match to cap off the night. I wonder what's going on with Barr? I agree with the others, you've done wonders with the LHW division. I also have to give you props on the tag team division. Both have become main event status.
  4. A message from the AWA The AWA is currently on a 2 week vacation but will return next Friday. It can be announced that the next Title Night will take place on Saturday August 12th from Fort Wayne Indiana. The following matches have been signed. AWA World Title Bout Nikita Koloff (C) vs. 'Luscious' Lanny Poffo AWA World Tag Team Title Bout The Guerreros (C) vs. Synergy AWA Mid-American Title Bout 'The Living Legend' Larry Zbyszko (C) vs. Nick Busick AWA National Tag Team Title Bout Badd Co. (C) w/Baby Doll vs. The Glamour Boys AWA TV Title Bout Brian Adias (C) vs. TBA
  5. Wrestlefest could be a huge night for Slick. Looking forward to the big cage match blow off. Importance is put on the TV title in a big way. I'm putting my money on Arn. It didn't take long for Flair to make enemies. Looks like Duggan has a buddy coming in. If it's who I think it is, the Nasties are in trouble. Trouble's brewing in Hart's stable, but as long as he has Muta, he'll be alright. Rotunda deserves his revenge after what Jake did to him. Sherri plans on taking Bigelow to the top and she might do just that. Savage ends show on a high note. Can't wait for his inevitable showdown with Flair. However, he better stay focused on Herc.
  6. AWA releases Giant Haystacks AWA picks up Tom Brandi and Jeff Gaylord
  7. AWA releases Mando Guererro, Dennis Condrey, Jesse Barr and Joel Deaton AWA picks up Pat Rose, David Haskins and Mark Fleming
  8. Dundee and Bruno are a couple of good guys. I think DJ should really consider managing these guys...for real this time. Damn, things are really heating up between Renesto and Riggins. I for one, think the Renesto's deserve a title shot. Tim needs to embrace Tom's attitude, especially if they're going to go toe to toe with Tojo and Headhunter. You've got a great story going with Fargo. I'm very intrigue on what his motives are. Well, Tojo and Headhunter sent a powerful and violent message on why they're the champs. Always a fun read.
  9. This is going to be a wild one, I can feel it. Jerry makes sure to get Jeff on the big show. Great visual ending with Keirn taking advantage. Outlaws get the win, but oh man did they take a beating! I thought this was a cool move bringing the Mid South heat to Memphis. LOL, after all his whining, Wright's Duo goes down in quick fashion to Slater and Leduc. The Assassins upset the Lightning Express but something seems fishy. Dundee and Keirn probably didn't advance the way they wanted to, but hey they're in the finals. It's going to be hell to pay for the Nation. Who would've thought the Assassins would be in the finals. After 2 upsets, they're in! However, something's off. WOW! Just like that, Landel's reign is over. Great way to add even more nuclear heat to the Slater, Rich, Landel saga. I can't wait for a Gordy title run! OK, did NOT see that coming! I really liked the way you built the Assassins suspicion story up throughout the night. I was expecting something, but not Dutch and the returning Idol! I loved writing for Idol, but he's home. Great show Kev! You have the gift of storytelling.
  10. Finally! Furnas and Lafon are together! I think Brookside better control his temper. Dean's doing pretty well in single's action. He has a shot at winning the tournament and could be a strong challenger for Cheetah. Mega Man is back in PCW! He had a lot of success here and picks up right where he left off. The semi finals are set and I'm looking forward to more thrillers. Cow Palace, Severn gets Payne back on track. A motivated Payne is a dangerous Payne. Bret is getting closer to another shot at Flowers. Cornette continues to work wonders for Christopher. Man, a lot of big guys seem to have a problem with Billy Jack. Severn vs. Yoshi is what the Submission title is all about. Nobody gets up from Windham's lariat and a trip from Rose doesn't help. Fresno, Lynn's got to be happy with that big win. It's time Anvil got a title shot in Fresno. The man is unbeatable here. Oh man, Stormfront gets a huge upset over the Malenkos. That's a real confidence booster. No doubt about it, Backlund vs. St. Clair delivers anywhere. Tenryu continues to mow down the competition. Cheetah closes out the night with another exciting title defense.
  11. AWA puts the Midnight Express (Dennis Condrey and Randy Rose), the Harris Brothers, Mando Guerrero, Rip Oliver, Duke Myers, Giant Haystacks, Cannonball Grizzly, Joel Deaton, Jesse Barr and Jerry Blackwell on the block.
  12. A battle royal is always a good way to kick things off, especially with stakes involved. Tiger Mask earns the shot. I agree with AD, WCW is on fire, booking 2 stadium shows in one month. Savage advances to face Steamboat, but Spivey makes sure to leave a mark. Muta!!!!!!!!! YES! Something tells me not to trust a snake. Zenk handles business and puts the greatest entertainer of all time down. Maybe Zenk should offer Roma a TV title shot. WOW! A lot went down in the 6 man title match. I was right, not to trust a snake. However, I'm a huge fan of heel Jake. Bigelow is the 3rd man and it looks like the Nasties are out. Once again, I agree with AD. I thought 1988 versions of Sherri and the Nasties would work. There's going to be a lot of questions next Saturday. The Jesters is some fun booking. I'm hoping these guys going into full heel Doink mode. Obviously inflicting pain on the Towers is more important than the titles right now. Rockers prove they can get down and fight. This added a nice edge. Ric Flair in WCW is big time! He's coming off a year long NWA world title run and is already in the WCW main event picture. Despite injuries, Steamboat and Savage tear the house down. Savage overcomes and is the NEW WCW world champ! Wasn't sure what Ric's motives were but it was certainly made clear by him and Arn at the end. Could Flair be putting together a faction? I guess we'll find out soon enough. Fantastic show!
  13. Hey, I really enjoyed reading this. Your write ups are so well done, I mean I was really impressed with your details. It's obvious you know the history here. I am only familiar with a few names on your roster, but after reading your first show, it won't take long to get to know the rest. I liked how you started things off with younger talent to get the crowd warmed up. It gave me a good grasp on what this is all about. After reading his match, I'm assuming Takada is going to be a big deal. I was into the different styles and match ups. You blended things well with hard hitting contact and old school grappling. One name I am familiar with is Maeda. His match with Yamazaki brought the fans in and will keep them coming. Enjoyed the newsletter and all the inside scoops. Maeda is determined on making this work and is scouting talent worldwide. Excellent job! I'm excited to watch this concept develop. You're bringing something fresh and innovating to our world.

The Guerreros pick up Gagne and throw him over the ropes and into the cage. The fans are up and cheering as the Ref tries to get some kind of order. Things finally look like a normal match as Canek and the Guerreros continue to work over Blackwell and the Fortunate Ones. Canek gets the best of Blackwell with a series of power moves, before Blackwell finally is able to tag in Stubbs. Stubbs doesn't fare any better as Canek and the Guerreros take turns pinballing him around the ring. Young is tagged in and probably wishes he wasn't even here, because Canek and the Guerreros ring his bell pretty good. Gagne is still laid out on the apron. This starts another pier six brawl. As the Ref tries to get order, Blackwell clubs Canek from behind and hurls him into the cage. Stubbs hoists up Chavo and suplexes him back into the cage. Young picks up Hector and hurls him face first into the cage. Blackwell and the Fortunate Ones attend to Gagne and help him to his feet. The Gang work over Hector pretty bad and turn him into a bloody mess. Hector is finally able to tag in Chavo but his fire is put out quick when the Fortunate Ones hit a double rib breaker, then throw him like a dart into the cage. Yep, Chavo's bleeding. Stubbs takes advantage and hoists Chavo up on the turnbuckles. Stubbs hops up and delivers an impressive superplex! Stubbs is going to cover but Gagne begs for a tag. Stubbs smiles and tags in Gagne. 15. Brad looks like a true Anderson. Wow, looks like the Horsemen are going through some changes. Taylor's gone and Arn is on a leave of absence. I'm very interested in watching all this play out. JYD is back! Him feuding with Debeers is going to bring in serious cash. Sheepherders are as savage as ever. Props to the SPC for surviving. Kamala is in beast mode! The Freebirds are back and united. I thought Prichard was a great choice to fill in the gap. I'm glad this version is back. I was interested in watching all this play out and oh man it didn't take long. Harley and Orton have had a lot of success in our world this past year and now they've arrived in the NWA...as Horsemen! Add to that, they have gold! This really is going to be interesting. Worldwide, Aces High, great name. I liked what you've done with Whatley in the past and can't wait to see how he does in the NWA. I've always been a big fan of his. Now that his family issues are resolved, I wonder what's next for Rugged Ron. I assume Fuller is officially done with Cyrus. You gave Brody one heck of a final run.
  16. Sorry Kev, this was my fault. AWA traded Mike Rotunda and a draft pick to WCW for the Killer Bees.
  17. It wouldn't be July without the Great American Bash. Let's do this! Fun way to start the night with Kaz and the Buffalo Soldiers getting a satisfying win over the Stud Stable. Probably wasn't a fun night for Cyrus. Didn't see this coming as the Patriots pull off a huge upset and win the US tag titles. Well, this just got the Patriots over in a big way. I was really looking forward to the strap match and it delivered! This was so well built up. I liked the booked finish. Wahoo looks strong but Lightfoot gets the big win. I think there's a lot of value in Lightfoot right now. You've made him a real player. The Lawmen end the Trinity's dominant reign. Cooley, Travis and Gilbert turned out to be a very cohesive unit. Bad night for the Stud Stable as the Pitbull puts down Fuller. Kerry's gotten some love in this game and it's good seeing him hold gold again. Foley got a nice salute tonight and his antics will be missed. I loved the finish here, so creative. Prichard finally puts a stamp on one wild feud. YES! The family feud match! One of the best feuds in the game comes to an end. Hayes actually plays it fair and talks sense into Jimmy Jam. Nice seeing all this end with a handshake. Huge surprise as JYD shows up to fight Debeers! This could be the start of something big. Once again, RnR and the Andersons put on a classic. Thanks to a miscue, RnR retains. I wonder if the NWA has another family feud on their hands. Terry Taylor's stock has sky rocketed after what he just did to former world champ Ric Flair. Flair even does the stretcher job. This was a big deal. Tully takes a beating and Dillion almost gets decapitated. Yet, Tully manages to walk away with the title. Tully plays this role so well. Props to you for giving Brody a great run. After all that, we get the War Games! Kamala looked like an absolute beast and Hase saw this and did the smart thing by going after a Nightmare and securing the win. The fans get to go home happy. This was one heck of a show! Double thumbs up!
  18. Damn, Slater knows how to pick em. Next week will be nuts! The tag tournament is officially set. Lance is right, I can see any of these teams walking out with gold. Can't wait to see the match ups. Landel has a lot on his plate. He's the champ. Him and Rich have a shot at the tournament but have to get through Slater and LeDuc. And he's got Gordy waiting for him. Street gets a nice segment. The guy does have a lot of charisma. Dutch does it again. I would say Hughes is a damn good upgrade. He's one bad dude and the Franchise is going to need help. Wild ending with Wright wheeling off and Bullet Bob gets the shine. You've got a lot of fun storylines going on and I can't wait for next week's TV.
  19. Good follow up from the 4th that cleared a lot of things up. I knew something fishy went on in the Ash/Rose match and sure enough it was Knighton. I have to say, it was hard watching Rose go, especially after the run he had here. However, he did go out on the highest of notes. Trust me, the AWA was watching. Nice little twist with DJ and the Terrors. If DJ, Bruno and Dundee can work together they might have gold in their future. I think Renesto might have a point. It might be the Renesto's turn at a shot, but I have a feeling Reno will find a partner and go at it with the Renestos. We shall see. A lot happening! Great stuff!
  20. The 4th brought the fireworks! Humperdink proves he can get the job done in the ring. I thought for sure DJ would be back with the Terrors. LOL, she's going to be with Bruno and Dundee for quite some time. This will be fun. Michales continues to get the best of Knighton. American and Cuban have a serious feud going on. Another surprise as Tojo and Headhunter win the series and titles. This was such a great story to follow. Look at that, Ash survives the cage match and retains. Oh man, I can't wait to hear what he has to say. Ash's got some serious bragging rights.
  21. Eugene, Christopher racks up another impressive win. Speaking of impressive, Cactus puts down Burke with authority. Like Brookside, Regal is adapting well to single's competition. Starr looks good but Hashimoto stands out after that finish. With this new attitude, I expect big things from Furnas. Southern Boys get back into title contention with a big win over Destruction Crew. Solid match up. Regal's going to get it when my man St. Clair gets a hold of him. On the flip side, I'm enjoying Flowers TV title reign.
  22. The Tournament of Lions continues to produce high octane action as Hart, Candido, Guerrero and Steamboat advance. I'm loving the match ups and we've got some cool ones coming up in the 2nd round. Payne proves he is a smart man by accepting Severn's offer. NOE better brace themselves. WOW! Just like that, Brookside's LHW title run is over. Well, Brookside proves he's a legit threat and I have a feeling Cheetah is going to be more even focused than ever. Portland, Anvil and Yoshi start the night on a wild note. Tenryu is mowing down the competition. Patriots turn the tables, or I should say chairs on Muscle Beach. It's just too hard to be a team consisting of Windham and Hennig. Rose is really reaching during this reign, and it looks like Muscle Beach's time in the Playboy Club is over. After a short but intense feud, Billy Jack sends Makhan packing. The fans in Portland were lucky to witness this blow off.
  23. AWA WrestleRock 88 Preview Show Saturday July 15th The Metrodome Minneapolis MN Live on Pay Per View Singing the National Anthem- Irene Cara Synergy vs. The Original Midnight Express w/Norvell Austin Brian Adias and Ricky Rice came to the AWA as Synergy. When Brian Adias won the TV title, he wasn't going to leave Rice hanging, so he went out and replaced himself with Scott Armstrong. Armstrong and Rice had immediate chemistry and racked up wins. They were soon targeted by the Midnight Express. The Midnights have had their ups and downs in the AWA but look to reestablish themselves with a big win at WrestleRock, that Norvell guarantees. Whoever wins this match will definitely be in line for a title shot. 'Crippler' Rip Oliver vs. ??? w/Ray Stevens A few months ago, Stevens showed up in the AWA, attacked Oliver and put him out of action for a while. Stevens claimed he was the only one worthy of the Crippler name. At Champagne Slam, Oliver got sweet revenge by piledriving and pinning Stevens. Oliver won the right to the Crippler name. A couple months later, Stevens reappeared and confronted Oliver. Stevens announced he had become a manager and signed real wrecking machine. He dared Oliver to face his client at WrestleRock and of course Oliver accepted. Bunkhouse Match The Gunslingers vs. The Unhinged Outlaws Scott Casey and Johnny Mantell have enjoyed tremendous success teaming in several territories as the Gunslingers. They've been top tag team contenders in the AWA. On a TV show, Jesse Barr and Joel Deaton showed up and attacked the Gunslingers. They called themselves the Unhinged Outlaws. Since this attack, these teams have had several brawls and traded wins and yes, bull ropes have been involved. The Outlaws said they were going to show the Gunslingers what real cowboys are made of. They challenged them to a Bunkhouse Match and the Gunslingers had no problem with this. The final showdown happens at WrestleRock. The Ultimate Warrior vs. Giant Haystacks Warrior has taken the AWA by storm and remains undefeated. One of those wins was against Haystacks former UK partner Dave Taylor. When Haystacks returned from a European tour, he made it very clear that he was coming after Warrior. The match was signed for WrestleRock. After a few weeks of verbal sparring, they finally had a confrontation. Haystacks got the better of Warrior by bruising his ribs with a sit down splash. Warrior says he'll be ready by WrestleRock but how can he take this monster down? Carribean Death Match Carlos Colon vs. 'Mad Dog' Buzz Sawyer Sawyer returned to the AWA but got pinned by Colon. Afterwards Sawyer went berserk and pummeled Colon. At the Memorial Day Tournament, Sawyer clotheslined Colon with a chain, costing Colon his match with Chicky Starr. Colon and Sawyer have had some wild matches and bloody hard hitting encounters. Recently, Sawyer got the best of Colon, thanks to his chain. Colon says this can only be settled in a Carribean Death match. This means NO DQs, anything goes and falls count anywhere. Things are going to get violent and bloody at WrestleRock. 'The Universal Heartthrob' Austin Idol vs. Luscious' Lanny Poffo At Champagne Slam, Lanny Poffo arrived and costed Idol the AWA Mid-American Title. Poffo said that Idol is a boy and doesn't belong in a man's sport. A match was signed and Idol was DQed for not releasing the Las Vegas Leglock outside the ring. Idol was satisfied in making Poffo suffer. Another match happened and this time Idol got a legit win. Afterwards, Poffo hit Idol with a foreign object and proceeded to put lipstick and glitter all over Idol's face. Idol challenged Poffo to a match at WrestleRock and it was signed. Idol had some fun by attacking Poffo and sticking a pacifier in his mouth. Poffo says he's going to run that sissy boy out of the AWA. We'll see. The WrestleRock Rumble Taped Fist Battle Royal. Pins, submissions and hurls over the top rope count as eliminations. Winner will receive an AWA World Title Shot and be presented the WrestleRock Rumble Trophy by Randall 'Tex' Cobb. Participants- Nick Busick, Kokina, DJ Peterson, Kevin Kelly, the Glamour Boys, the Harris Brothers, Tony Atlas, Duke Myers, Cannonball Griz, Scott Putski, Johnny Rich and Dream Machine. Gerry Morrow saw that there were a lot of heated feuds going on and decided that he would put them all in the ring and let them fight it out with high stakes involved. With taped fists, you can expect a lot of pounding and punching. Tex Cobb said that the winner will no doubt be the toughest man in the AWA. AWA TV Title Bout- No Time Limit Brian Adias (C) vs. Chicky Starr Very special ring announcer- Loni Anderson After 2 draws, Morrow signed a no time limit match for WrestleRock. Morrow also decided that the TV title match needed a big time TV celebrity to announce the participants. Well, he came through and booked Loni Anderson. A toast to you Gerry. Adias has been training hard and is 100% focused. Chicky has been relaxed while out on the golf course and soaking in spas. Chicky says he's going to take both the TV title and Loni Anderson home. AWA National Tag Team Title Bout Venomous (C) vs. Badd Co. w/ Baby Doll Venomous (Kat and Cobra) have enjoyed a 6 month reign while exciting fans with their high flying maneuvers and high octane offense. Badd Co. came to the AWA with their manager Diamond Dallas Page. They were off to a hot start and rising the ranks fast. Then things went downhill when DDP left for WCW. Badd Co. went on a losing streak. Then Baby Doll showed up and offered her guidance. Badd Co. regained their confidence. Baby Doll was so confident that she challenged Venomous to a non title match. If Badd Co. won, they would get a title shot at WrestleRock. If Venomous won, Baby Doll and Badd Co. would leave the AWA. The match happened and due to a bizarre distraction by the Killer Bees, Badd Co. was able to pull off the win and get a shot at WrestleRock. AWA Mid-American Title Bout 'The Living Legend' Larry Zbyszko (C) vs. Tatsumi 'The Dragon' Fujinami Zbyszko won the title at Champagne Slam and has been on the biggest arrogance high ever. He was taken down a notch when Fujinami pinned him during the Memorial Day Tournament. Afterwards, Zbyszko attacked Fujinami and knocked him unconscious with nun chucks. During a Fujinami TV match, Zbyszko was playing mind games while circling the ring. Fujinami played mind games of his own the following week during a Zbyszko TV match. While Zbyszko was arguing with the fans, Fujinami sneaked in and executed a bridging back suplex. The Ref had some fun too and counted 1..2..3. This one should be a WrestleRock classic. STEEL CAGE Handicap MATCH! The AWA World Tag Team Titles will be on the line! AWA World Tag Champs the Guerreros and El Canek vs. Crusher Blackwell, The Fortunate Ones and Greg Gagne This goes back to SuperClash when El Canek defeated Greg Gagne's star pupil Mike George for the now retired AWA International title. Crusher Blackwell shocked the world by joining up with Gagne. Blackwell jumped Canek in a locker room and injured him badly. Gary Young came to the AWA with veteran Jerry Stubbs. Gagne took a liking to them and signed them, calling them the Fortunate Ones. At Champagne Slam, the Fortunate Ones made Gagne proud by being the last survivors in an elimination match. Gagne demanded a tag title match. However, Hector and Chavo Guerrero beat them to it and defeated Kevin Kelly and DJ Peterson for the world titles at a Title Night. Gagne went to Gerry Morrow and Morrow saw his point and gave the Fortunate Ones a shot at the Guerreros. During that match all hell broke loose. Blackwell, Gagne and the Fortunate Ones severely injured Mando Guerrero and put him in the hospital. Since then, Gagne has interfered in several Canek and Guerrero matches. Morrow decided this needed to be settled in a cage but with a twist. The tag titles will be on the line and Greg Gagne will be in the match. Gagne passed out after hearing this news. Weeks went by and Gagne's Gang assured his safety. Gagne has been cockier than ever and has even dedicated their upcoming victory to Mando. What a jerk! Will Canek and the Guerreros do the world a favor and destroy Gagne or will Gagne somehow pull something off? We'll find out at WrestleRock. AWA World Title Bout Bad News Brown (C) vs. 'The Russian Nightmare' Nikita Koloff Brown has been a dominant champion since winning the world title a year ago. He's taken on and beaten all comers. Koloff gained massive AWA credibility when he won a very heated feud against Chris Adams. Koloff's momentum continued when he defeated 3 men in the Memorial Day Tournament to earn a title shot at WrestleRock. At the press conference, things got heated with Brown and Koloff fighting and ending up crashing through a table. The weeks went by with Brown and Koloff cutting intense promos on each other. Things continued to escalate as these two would get physical. More run ins and pull apart brawls ensued. Last week, Koloff was given a gift which turned out to be a boom box. We found out this was a set up by Brown because he came out from under the ring and nailed Koloff with a ghetto blaster from behind. As officials helped Koloff up, Brown hit Koloff in the gut with the boom box. Brown says WrestleRock is going to be bad news for Koloff. After the wrestling, REO SPEEDWAGON will perform a concert. I'm sure LST will stick around LOL.
  24. Very interesting. I really liked the history and explanation. With serious financial backing, UWF Newborn is sure to make waves.
  25. Manny is in hot water because Ladd is all about giving the fans what they want. A no show doesn't look good. Just like that, Tatum and Victory get their Hot Stuff heat back. Missy played her part well. Ladd's a smart man by booking the two biggest names in Woman's wrestling in a title match. Medusa pulls out a strong finish to become champ. After an intense feud, the Outlaws have done it! No doubt about it, a Hansen and Murdoch title run will draw big in this territory. I have to say, I loved that you put Nord and Kongo together. Gilbert takes full advantage of all the distracting chaos to win the TV title. I think this is a great move. Gilbert and Missy will bring the heat every week while the Steiners can put all their focus on being a tag team. After Dibiase's recent change in focus, I'm sure he's going to have words with Sheik. Now the question is, who's next for Williams? No Way! Say it isn't so! Reed makes the heel turn of the year! This entire story has been so engaging. A couple weeks ago I thought JYD was going to turn but didn't. Then Rhodes comes in and I thought we were going to get a roof blowing blow off, but again, I was swerved. Reed is now the most hated man in the business. So well done! The Reed heel turn upstages the main event and the fans don't even get to go home happy. Vader has been born and wherever he goes, it's going to be Vader time! I'll give Luger he's props, he once again manages to walk out alive and with his title. Very exciting show! It's going to be a hot summer in Mid South!
