    dude yes. YES. I lost it when Zenk says "yeah" during the promo. Just dry as a bone. The guy has the delivery of Bill Paxton. I love Tom Zenk. Anyway, this is everything I love in a wrestling match. A hot tv crowd, midcard babyfaces, southern tag, heels that know how to work a heat segment. Another one of my big 'what if's' with the abandoned throat angle. If we had gotten a few more big matches with these two teams, on top of the great tag matches in 1990, man, what could have been... "He with a pear-shaped body, partly disrobing" is a great line from Ross and sounds like a line from a Flannery O'Conner story. I love that Flyin' Brian's hope spots are always fast paced, like he's just getting this deep bursts of energy and burns out quick. Man, babyface Pillman is something. You can hear the crowd just die after Zenk gets tagged in. I know the guy is dull, but he's really not that bad. He plays his role well I think. Anyway, really creative and gnarly triple team Alabama Jam on Flyin Brian at the end. Awesome match.

    I guess it's the poorer quality sound but I have no idea what's going on in ICW. I've watched all the segments and I can't remember a single thing except the Pink Assassin thing and the Diamond Dolls looking sad. I don't know what anyone is doing or talking about here. I really enjoy this feeling.

    Another cool David Lynch audio quality ICW promo from Atlas. I didn't know what was going on, but I enjoyed the ride.

    I was half expecting Lawler to bop Champion on the head, like a cartoon.

    Really good Luger promo. I was really expecting him to get tongue-tied and sound flustered given that this was right after the match but he does a good job here explaining himself.

    John Tesh! This reminded of all the talk show segments and expose things that are to come with the steroid trail coming up. I'm really hoping there's more stuff like this on the yearbooks. Cool addition.

    A pre-GOOD GAWD DDP promo with some of the most uncomfortable looking women I've seen in a while, in or out of wrestling. This just further cements how crazy it is the run DDP would have as a wrestler and and a talker at the end of the decade.

    Hahahah yet another surreal segment as Dave Brown calmly runs down the upcoming card while Jerry Lawler, clad in black Guess jeans, destroys a jobber named Ken RAPER.

    Adams' promo got me really stoked for the match. I've really liked this USWA stuff but there really hasn't been a lot of variety, match-wise. The guy did his job because I can't wait to see them in a scientific wrestling match.

    Garvin just constantly jamming around the ring was very good, and the shot in the crowd where Jeff Gaylord is standing and the fans are dying to try to inform him that Dundee is down, what a great shot.

    Not much to add that hasn't been said, but this is a very cool match from a historic standpoint. Humble beginnings. Also, the crowd seemed pretty quiet until after one of the near falls (I forget which one) and then flipped a switch and were hot. I liked that.

    I watched the full version, and what is very cool is that the leg work on Tenryu comes pretty late in the match, basically right as the clip on the yearbook comes in. Not doing the hot tag is so brilliant, I really wish that were utilized more. The spectacle of these 4 bull moose destroy each other is so awesome. Great match. Maybe top 3 so far this year.

    The way Lawler cheers up momentarily after he pours the milk on Nate is so simple but really adds depth to his character. Of course, this whole segment is perfect.

    This clip is more action packed than the previous match, and Jimmy wins the title. I can't wait to see how Lawler reacts.
