Does anyone know what NRW stands for? I tried like hell to figure it out
-
He may not be the best wrestler but you can argue that he's made the most out of the least he seems to only do about 5 to 7 wrestling moves anymore but he knows when to use them. His Hollywood submission machine run was I feel very underrated as he carried PWG for quite a long time as the heel champ that everyone hated giving the shows at least one stand out character. Out of all the early 2000s socal indy guys he's the only one that still has a pretty been presence on the wrestling scene over all. For me personally he's perfect for a quick example of how intergender matches shouldn't be worked. His impact is felt as well being a founder of PWG and the 1st wrestler to be sponsored by youporn. Joey Ryan probably won't make my ballot because he's best run as an all around worker was very short but if he had stuck to that long I think he's a guy that could easily have been in the 90-100 range

This guy had a lot of potential and talent but came around at an unfortunate time as he was compared to Homicide, Lowki, and Da Hit Squad seen as the lesser of the group, He is probably one of the best tag workers to come out socal for the past decade his team with Super Dragon and Homicide where both fantastic. He a clear natural athlete that only really got held back by his noncommercial promo style. In ring few have the same grace combined with violence and intensity. B-Boy made kicking someone face off look like a work of art. I don't know if he'll be on my ballot but he deserves at least to be considered.

Can confirm Gable would give me a wrestle rager no question

He likes Mike Mondo -
I actually really enjoy this show but unfortunately if I keep reviewing LU for This week I'll have to listen to it at least a week behind but I think I'm officially dropping Lapsed fan so I have an extra 16 hours a week of podcast listening time to fill

Your recommendation means a lot I will give it a shot

I think you must have been a super-early downloader Timothy! There's probably no intro or outro music either cos I uploaded the raws by mistake and then re-upped it. Hold onto that limited-edition version of WTBBP #80, could be a collector's item one day! Makes sense my podcatcher auto downloads as soon as it goes up on the feed I'll treasure it forever

Wahoo is definitely so good at playing the walking talk Face that he deserves in the conversation as one of the all time greats and matches like this that seem more like big time blow offs it's actually in ways better to have a dominate face. You guys almost talked me in to watching The Austin show with Big Show but I just can't I'll down load the audio when it comes out though
-
I do think he went above and beyond what he was asked to do. Was he asked to be rough with the newbies? I'm sure he was. I doubt there was any directives to do naked wrestling though. Imagine the job description including his "Jelly Donut drill"

I'm not going to push my Paul Heyman counter theory but, isn't it convenient that if Roman fails Punk will probably be the final "break out star" that you could attribute to Vince?

PTBN Reaction Show: Fastlane 2016
Luchaundead replied to soup23's topic in Publications and Podcasts
This is how we use to do Lucha Undead it's not that hard and it is a nice fail safe but the audio quality actually tends to be better overall through Skype except for the "technical difficulties" (bad internet connection) that arise from time to time but if you noticed this show was rushed up and edited later as to have the hottest of hot takes for the listeners to get their ears on. I don't have a problem making excuses so here is my current excuse... I recently became separated from my wife and have lived in 4 locations in the last month. Each place has a different internet connection and sometimes it sound sgood and sometimes it doesn't. I don't know if that plays into the troubles we had on this show but I'll take the blame for this one and deal with it. Hope you know I was throwing no shade I appreciate quick turn around on reaction shows -
Are we sure he's Undead Zombie Taker anymore? seems pretty regular guy to me from his last 8 matches

At this point not believing in the Hit is just foolish but, it might be time to turn our attention to the next big questions. What does Dylan have to gain by outing this hit publicly? Who is profiting off of Roman's failures? When is Matt Riddle going to come in and take his rightful place as the new face of WWE?

What if the PTBN reaction show was just co-opted by the political hit and Will actually fell asleep just to further bury a PPV mainevented by Regins? -

I don't know, because the Brock/Roman stuff has been the best Roman has looked. I would posit that this actually makes a more glaring indictment of Reigns as Heyman shows "Look he can be good he can get over so why can't be do it all the time" making it appear that Reigns just doesn't get it and can't connect with the fans without someone carrying him in promos, thus making a guy like Heyman seem even more valuable -
1st time in about 4 years that my friends band isn't playing so I don't have anyway to get free passes fucking bummed

PTBN Reaction Show: Fastlane 2016

I saw someone in the political hit thread mention Heyman and it got me thinking what if the hit isn't being done by HHH but, by Heyman as retaliation for his "best friend" CM Punk think about it Punk wanted Hero in that spot but WWE made it be Reigns, During the AOW podcast Punk went out of his way to push along the "Reigns is being over pushed" narrative by talking about "make him look strong", and Brock benefited from Regins not being over going into WM 31 by using that leverage combined with help from UFC (Dana White who Heyman dealt with during Brock's time with UFC) to get a higher paying contract. Would you be surprised to hear that Heyman is in some type of manager or agent role for Brock thus getting a % of that lucrative contract? because I wouldn't be. Sure there is the possibility that HHH is using the situation to his benefit or was even involved either directly or indirectly but letting this all go on without stopping it but maybe just maybe this is actually a Heyman Hustle. -
Is Shane McMahon still considered in his prime?

Is this really that far fetched to people? People accept that the Kliq held down Bam Bam Bigalow, got Shane Douglas fired, and that HHH talked HBK into not wanting to job to Bret Hart and actually gave them the idea for the screw job. All of that was before HHH was in a position of power within the company why would you not believe that a guy you has a history of using political power to hold people down wouldn't be doing it again? -
