I guess that would be the "normal thinking guy" way of doing it, which just doesn't work for me. I've startet chronologically, I'll get to the finish that way or die trying.

Your "So So Good" Top 100 Matches of All Time
Gutenberger replied to elliott's topic in Pro Wrestling
Not to me haha. Just sort of backs up what I've always said about Bret, that he's fine but doesn't really resonate with me on a higher level. For what it's worth, the Bret matches I like most are Austin at WM, and the Owen cage match. The latter was always one of my favourite "old" matches back when 90% of the "old" stuff I'd seen was whatever happened to get on WWE released DVDs. But there's nothing that would come too close to my personal list. Finally someone who expresses the exact same view about Hart as I do. -
So... I've bought a new computer on saturday and the Network ist utterly screwing. While the site is loading properly and quicker than before even, The video I want to watch on Demand starts and stops about 20 sec. in, the quality gets to shitty as hell, it runs for a few seconds and freezes again, and son on... Tried Opera, Chrome, IE and Firefox. On my old PC I had the same issue only with Opera, and not THIS bad, but Chrome worked perfectly. Any suggestions? If I can't get this fixed, the Network's of no use for me...

NWA-TNA 2003 aka a passive-agressive way to deal with depression
Gutenberger replied to El-P's topic in Pro Wrestling
Jarrett is using the guitar gimmick again now. Oh, fuck me, that really didn't make any sense in WCW, and does even less now. That never bothered me, here or there. After all, he's been a "musician" in WWF and I just took it for granted that having his guitar was by this point so embedded into him that it just became his thing. -
I don't think this list seems very credible... The possibility of a Punk Set, while nothing really has happened since the last one and the relation between him and WWE, seems small to non-existent... That Survival Mode set WOULD be interesting, but I think WWE is WAY too delusional to publish something so self-critical... The 2 rivalries sets, while sounding very interesting, are both based on ECW feuds, and while they don't shy away from ECW, I can't imagine releasing something this specific... Some of these sets sound really great and I would love to own them, but I'm not really optimistic they're even considering them.

It's part of a storyline they're coming up with.

I'm trying to work my way through the WWE Network chronologically, and I'm stuck in '84 right now, having watched the first 4 episodes of TNT. It isn't that it's bad or something, but it is just kind of there, whick makes it hard to motivate myself watching it, when so much other good stuff is all around the interwebs... Just gotta muster the strength to barrel through one TNT at a time.

I really liked Dolph for quite some time, even comparing him to Shawn Michaels quite often. voer time, I found reasons not to see his flaws, that's how much I liked him and wished he would become a huge success. Now, I can only agree with your points. There's good in him, but not nearly enough so that it would justify my love for him. This, beeing a man of extremes, I get annoyed everytime I see him.

As a kid, I loved me some Bugsy. Will always have a soft spot in my heart for him. I can see his appeal for kids, but then again Teletubbies have that too. Which, thinking about it, is a pretty good comparison.

I gotta admit, I only follow the WWE on a consistent basis, because it's what I grew up with and DAMN it's WWE! But I try to keep track of a few other promotions, mainly ROH and WXW, which has it's base in my neighbor city and it's roots in my own hometown, so it's possible to go to their "big" events pretty easily. But yeah, the dicussions on this board do focus largely around old school Wrestling. Which I also like, but haven't seen very much of. I always plan to dig into that stuff, but with all the current stuff, it's hard for me to find the time digging into that. So, bottom line, I would strongly welcome more talks about current stuff.

NWA-TNA 2003 aka a passive-agressive way to deal with depression

Also, afterward the show went off the air, Saturn walked down the ramp dressed as Naked Mideon, wearing only a thong and a fanny pack. Your guess is as good as mine. -
This sounds entertaining... First thing that comes to my mind is Episode VII. Lots of totally useless swerves, nonensical booking, no regard to what has happened before and a non clear ending... Sounds about right!

I dindn't really think highly of the Table, although once I saw it was up I was definetely very eager to seeing it. Flair has, in my eyes, nothing much interesting to tell anymore, or if he has, he just doesn't tell it. Arn came across very pessimistic, as if none of todays roster has any real experience or enough knowledge to pass down to future guys... Kind of, imo, running them down a bit. Although many of them, especially the Indie Guys, have lots of experience and know a tough schedule, I'd imagine. Tully was unremarkable, just a quiet old dude enjoying his meal.

I gotta go Bugsy McGraw. No visible talent and his mannerisms and gimmick werd just so awful. . . Seeing this guy almost mad me want to quit the Network!

After reading through all of this, THAT post was the single highlight of all of this!

Where I'm from, those shirts are SO damn expensive, and even then quality differs widely. So my, if you wanna call it that, collection only consists of two shirts, with the below beeing my absolute favorite, although by now it's grey rather than black. And another favourite of mine, although I very, very rarely is the hat seen further below.

Normally, I watch the whole show, especially if someone recommends a match to me and I haven't seen the show yet. If I have seen the show already and specifically wanna see a match I haven't seen in a long time or want to watch it again and again, Sami vs. Shinsuke for example, I tend to just skip to the match in question.

I don't know, RAW wasn't bad, but it just didn't click for me. And I'm sure huge part of that was due to the crowd, which in my eyes was so actively bad that they drained the energy from me through my TV. I reallay had a hard time staying focussed and following the show...

NWA-TNA 2003 aka a passive-agressive way to deal with depression

My first post on here, since I haven't found any kind of "Hello, I'm there, welcome me!" thread, and I just gotta tell you how much I love your posts! I'm dealing with depression myself and know how far one can go to do so, but DAMN you are one tough SOB!
