Hell in a Cell 2019 - Card is not only subject to change, but is bound to

Aleister Black on a long build would be the best option to dethrone The Fiend. And I feel like it's the only option they have at the moment. -
That card in Edmonton will be really good. Excellent addition with Dave Morgan on your roster with the British Commonwealth Middleweight title belt. You've got something solid with that.

As a Quebecer who grew up and had his teenage years with the duo of Ray Rougeau and Jean Brassard on commentary, I strongly resent your stance about French commentators. -

Also, you never see Roman Reigns get into Twitter arguments with fans, which what a true professional in a locker room never does. Sometimes, it's like Seth Rollins is asking for that. -
Knowing Jerry Lawler like I do, there's gonna hell to pay for both Dream Machine and Bill Dundee for this!

Meanwhile, the 3rd Mae Young Classic has been announced. Tapings on November 2nd and 3rd at Full Sail University. -
I think that's an awesome idea. I was wondering why they were taping so many matches after Dynamite but now I understand. Do we know if it's on tape delay (meaning that this week's premiere will feature the matches taped last week)?

I want to say that Danny Cage is the guy running the Monster Factory wrestling school since Larry Sharpe died but I could be wrong here. -
I wonder if Rush and Dragon Lee would be part of that adventure.

I don't expect this to be a regular thing for Edge. I wouldn't be shocked to have him work Survivor Series in one of those traditional 5-on-5 matches. At the very least, WWE will limit the time he spends in the ring, even for one match. -

I like it. Nice throwback to the original set with the arches. -
Yeah, there are several good options for them. We're just speculating with what we've seen so far.
-
Of course. Nothing says that either Cody or Kenny can't turn heel in that timeframe.
-
I guess it comes down to when they pull the trigger on the title switch. Do you wanna benefit from a red hot Cody with the crowd or do you wanna take the time to tell that redemption story with Kenny Omega? I think it's only a matter of when Kenny will be the AEW Champion; I just don't know how long AEW plans to run with Chris Jericho as their champ.
-
That wasn't even close. And NXT pulled off all the guns last night.
-
I think most of us see that Cody will eventually beat Jericho for the title. My main concern right now is the timing. You don't want to cut Jericho's first reign too short but you also want the maximum effect for Cody to win the title. So it's gonna really be all about the right timing. I wouldn't be upset if Jericho retains at Full Gear but perhaps having him drop it at their next PPV (I assume in January or February) would be the best course to choose.

Hmm....so that means that Sportsnet 360 up here in Canada will show the Hulu version every week prior to Smackdown then....

I was pretty thrilled about tonight's show and overall, I can't say that I was disappointed by what I saw from a wrestling standpoint as I thought every segment and match in the show delivered what they were supposed to do. They've got to work out some kinks when it comes to production but considering that this was their first live TV, I can't fault them for the hiccups. Like everyone, I was really happy to see Tony Schiavone back at commentary on a TNT show and it felt to me like he was genuinely more enthusiastic than he usually is with Rich Bocchini in MLW. Easy to make the comparison between the first Nitro and Dynamite tonight with the "Lex Luger Moment" but I don't really see any issue with how they booked Jake Hager tonight. Fully expecting him to be pretty much Chris Jericho's goon in his new stable and I think it's the best fit for him. You don't have to push him to the moon but you can make him relevant enough to book him in important matches. I know I might be late on this but about the Riho/Nyla Rose match...they talked about how Riho is 22 and she's started wrestling at 9....With how they plugged Kenny Omega training her for the match and everything.....was she the little girl that Kenny wrestled in DDT years ago?

My first thought also was Aleister Black. My main concern is that they'd rush it and kill the momentum The Fiend has, right away. I'd like a similar build like they did with the Taz vs Shane Douglas feud in 1998 ECW, where both guys feuded for the better course of a year but only wrestled 2 or 3 times during that time frame. I felt like those matches meant something. -
Holy crap, I didn't even think about Catrina but she could make for a great plan B if AEW can't get Salina de la Renta.
-
And a Salina de la Renta/LAX association also comes naturally and it would certainly get the people talking.

Which begs the question to be asked: who do you position right now as the top face on RAW after The Fiend destroys Seth? Clearly, the fact that Rollins is the captain of Team Hogan indicates he won't be positioned in the title picture. So, do you wait for the draft to see where the chips may fall and find the contender to build that will eventually upend The Fiend? -
Dynamite will air on TSN2 for the first 4 weeks. As of now, it's listed on TSN3 for October 30th. After that, I don't know on which feed it'll air but I assume it's gonna depend on various events like NHL's schedule.
