NWA Lutte Internationale/International Wrestling August 1986
SirEdger replied to SirEdger's topic in Promotions
I'm so sorry about that. I was thinking about making it up in some way for Starrcade; at least for Colon vs Chicky. For Kerry vs Gordy, it's gonna depend on the plans for the NWA World title at the same event. -

At least, you don't forget MATCHES like I did for my Bash. I realized that I completely forgot to book a World Class and a WWC match that I requested for my Bash date! -

Not sure that spaldoni will be thrilled to read that you want Kernodle in the UWF! (just kidding!) -
Under-the-radar wrestling book recommendations
SirEdger replied to Cross Face Chicken Wing's topic in Pro Wrestling
How didn't I know before today that there were wrestling novels? And I always dreamed of writing one as well! -
3 new entries in the Mae Young Classic: Hiroyo Matsumoto, Aerial Monroe & Vanessa Kraven! Finally, my home province of Quebec will be represented this year! :D https://t.co/MBDSCnfr8l

Yeah, I was also thinking that way. Also like the idea of running NXT & NXT UK as one brand.

Nice twist on real life with Kendall Windham teaming up with Mike Rotundo in the US Express. I think what I love most about your pairings in feuds is that you always got one guy that can elevate the other just by association and working with him. Landell with Jack Brisco is a nice pairing to build Landell as a babyface. And JYD being as over as he is, it only makes Lex Luger that much despicable as the heel champ.

Indeed, next week will be stacked. Very much looking forward to that show. Much character development again this week!
-
Personally, I'm not bothering with time constraints (as you can see with my TV every week! :p ) - as long as I enjoy the product in the way you write it, it's all that matters. And you're always doing an excellent job capturing the essence of pro wrestling in the Caribbean. Another hot main event again this week!

Dates added!

Then, by the way you worded your request, I guess this would now be considered a non-title match since Nikita no longer is the champ. Unless you change your request in our private booking thread to request the NWA World Champion.
-
Did you ask specifically for Nikita or the NWA World Heavyweight Champion?
-
We'll see in due time. I hope to see an international presence in that project
-
The title change happened at the Great American Bash stop in Dallas last week. That was Nikita Koloff's rematch
-
Nice, first interest for a UK promotion! :) If I get enough people interested and secure rules & guidelines, I'll start a thread where people will be able to secure their promotion

Some great cards here, especially in Shreveport. Big fan of putting the National Tag Title match in the main event slot as the Rock N' Roll Express vs Midnight Express is a sure bet and show stealer every time.

Yeah, that's why I went with 2018. There are lots of choices that'd be available for everyone everywhere: USA, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Europe. For instance, I'm more comfortable running Impact Wrestling than I'd be with current WWE with the roster split and everything. You'd pick whatever promotion and start from there. You build your roster and schedule as you wish.
-
As an indicator of how I was seeing things, if this comes to fruition, I would run Impact Wrestling. No draft to start. You take the current roster as it is and you tweak it the way you want it to. I'd definitely be encouraging special free agent bookings, legends appearances and working agreements. The objective would be to run it as smoothly as we could do it IRL.
-
Like I said, that's why I'm posting the thread. To take people's suggestions and set it up as we can all be comfortable with it. The trickiest part would be rosters, given that indy talents are working several promotions at the same time, we could have to find a way to make this work. I'm definitely not excluding any part of the world, like if some people would like to book Japanese or English promotions for instance.

As some of you know, I'm currently having a blast with the 1983 Project as we're having tons of fun with the stuff we're doing. But I was curious to know if some people here would be interested - and believe it'd be feasible - to add a 2018 Project to the Armchair Booking section. Of course, we could modify the rules and guidelines to reflect the current state of wrestling today but I'm just kicking rocks to gauge people's interest.

Tell that to New Jack. He's been shitting on both Jerry & Brian Lawler since Brian passed away.
-
Bully Ray suggested on his podcast today that Kevin Owens should beat Braun and then cash in on Brock or Roman. I find this idea intriguing, although I don't see how this could benefit Braun in the long run.
-
So, the NWA booking site folded? What a shame, there were some fun reads on there.

Maybe but then again, Killer Kelly worked the 2nd day of NXT UK tapings so it might not mean anything. But given Tegan & Jinny's injury history, I'd go on a limb and say that you might be onto something.
