WWE TV 01/10 - 01/16 Is this year's Rumble going to break some walls down?
SirEdger replied to KawadaSmile's topic in WWE
Gotta admit that guys like Imperium, Cameron Grimes & Roderick Strong will stick out like sore thumbs, being pretty much the last guys of the old guard on that NXT 2.0 roster. Although, with LA Knight returning tonight, he's gonna be sticking around too. Kinda surprised honestly that Vince hasn't requested Knight on the main roster yet, considering he can talk his ass off. -

I definitely didn't expect Doudrop to win that match but I'm ready for this. -

Probably lost somewhere in the woods. -

Considering all the money they're making with her merch, I'd be stunned if they had Alexa revert back to the Goddess. They'll probably tweak the character a bit to make it more palatable but I don't expect people who hate it to change their mind anyway on their stance. -

Well, Booker T, RVD and AJ Styles weren't supposed to be able to hang with the WWE main event guys and Vince was proven wrong. Don't think it would be different with an AEW roster member. -

I believe he signed a 3-year deal so that would put him at the end of 2022. -
I don't think anyone in NXT was prepared for what happened in the last couple of months but only Triple H knows if he can swallow his pride and go back to help out Shawn with NXT 2.0, knowing that everything that has recently happened is the result of him being scapegoated for being unable to stop the rise of AEW when they thought it'd be a piece of cake to do. And that's even if Vince feels he can't find someone else that he trusts to deliver his vision of NXT 2.0 to surround Shawn.
-
Basically, Dave wants Danielson to do with the TNT title what RVD did for the ECW World TV title. To the point that the TV title was main eventing PPVs, not the ECW World title.
-
Seems like Vince will want to surround Shawn with people that he (Vince) can trust to lead NXT 2.0 the way he wants it to. So anything linked to Triple H had to go I guess.
-
Wondering how much input Shawn Michaels has in those decisions. He's running NXT 2.0 right now and Vince is probably thrilled with how it's going. So at the end of the day, Vince probably wants Shawn with people he can entrust to deliver on that vision. Looks like those people no longer fit the mold.

Well, with one of them being Max F'N Caster, that's out the window. Seriously, that's a dumb af move.

Call me crazy but this KO/Seth Rollins duo has Festival of Friendship-type vibe of chemistry for me. It just works. I wouldn't mind for KO & Seth to be the ones beating RK-Bro for the RAW Tag titles.

Probably Lashley at the Rumble so Big E could get a rematch in one of those 2 shows
-
Yeah, and they could've lost another player tonight: The match between Sasha and Charlotte in Fayetteville, NC because Sasha seemingly hurt her knee. Luckily, she tweeted she's OK but WWE dodged another bullet on this one.
-
Honestly, I think they just changed course. Feels like we might get Lashley vs Brock instead.
-
I legit thought that Penelope had knocked herself out on that moonsault early. She was that close to hitting her head on the ring apron. But yeah, the ladies delivered on that one. I still think Britt Baker vs Thunder Rosa was better overall but all 4 women don't have anything to be ashamed of with that performance. It was pretty good.
-
I actually feel like they're gonna have Scorpio Sky beat Cody, for some reason. Or at least, Cody's first defense in his new reign
-
Rampage is not Friday night but Saturday Night, exceptionnally this week. Might wanna to fix that
-
So moreso that I've seen at least 1 or 2 guys tweet how disappointed they were in O'Reilly to sign with AEW and literally feel "they could no longer morally support them". If only they had seen what they were doing in ROH prior to signing with NXT.

2 insane bumps in that main event; Darby playing human bowling on MJF & FTR and later, MJF almost Lita-ing himself after being thrown over the top rope by Sting. But that main event was loads of fun. Punk's throwback to Sting's look from the 1st Clash in Greensboro was pretty cool

The Thunderdome Cometh Again?
-
At this stage, he's hitchhiking on his way to RAW.
-
Well, actually, thanks for sharing that because I legit didn't understand a damn word Vince said in that promo. We're about to need subtitles to insert into each of his promos.

Ah yes, the 700th rematch between Bianca and Doudrop already. Might keep it in the background and play some TEW 2020 instead.
