  1. Well, WWE did good numbers for USA when you consider the ratings for other shows, so I guess it could be a win-win situation, although I really don't think NXT would get close to get the ratings RAW/SD did.
  2. Wasn't her injury supposed to be nearly career-ending?
  3. Do people consider Hero as an example of career rehabilitation? His 1st NXT stint was ok, and it did give us that awesome Regal match, but then he was let go. In the following years he managed to have one of the all time great indie runs, and raised his stock to a level I think he didn't reach before, although he was a big name.
  4. KUSHIDA's thing where people from the main roster come to NXT to fight him and lose kinda tells me they are going to push him considerably. Having in mind that NXT is moving on to a 2 hour FS1 show, maybe things are going to turn out fine for him.
  5. I don't think Cody's rehab started right when he left WWE. He spent quite some time having his indie darling wishlist, and wasn't exactly setting the world on fire. Things really started to change after he went to TNA and his friendship with the Bucks became a thing.
  6. Two horrible injuries in a row, both in the worst of times, was in bad shape, and was overall dull in the ring even when given the chance to shine. Wonder what he's up to now.
  7. I love how Hot Ones follows clear, sound psychology. Start with the feeling out process and then progress to the big bombs. Austin is so likeable.
  8. I think the main issue was the first fall. The 2nd was actually alright, and the third, as much as people complained about the overkill, kind of demanded that type of thing, as it was a barbed wire cage match with no escape rules. The first one just went on and on and on and on...
  9. Well, considering the dude managed to be hated even when he was absolutely right in his overall point, getting booed shouldn't be an issue when he's out there trying to kill people.
  10. I don't see why not. If they took fucking Shawn Spears, surely Dolph Ziggler wouldn't be a bad option.
  11. That's... pretty fucking good? Trish instead of Madusa would be interesting, too.
  12. I mean that's almost cheating because no way Buddy was/is 205lbs. Dude is HUGE.
  13. of course this has all the potential to turn into a clusterfuck but so far i am eating this up
  14. Daniel Bryan channeling his inner David Patrick Kelly is never not going to be great.
  15. Told you there was reasoning behind a Murphy/Roman pairing, @sek69 I am loving how those segments are being shot. SD feels slightly different this way.
  16. A Murphy/Ali program on the main roster would be insane, and it would solidify Buddy further. Can't get enough of those two. Also, how cool would Roman/Ali be?
  17. To the surprise of absolutely no one, Roman/Buddy is very, very good.
  18. Finally one of those insane Bryan promos gets TV time. Just so good.
  19. Y2J chants after a dope Liontamer, and then a Codebreaker. Jericho must enjoy this match.
  20. Kevin Owens: Family Man is probably the best use out of KO.
  21. IIconicas can be a light-hearted heel act. Some of their shenanigans were amusing, but the biggest issue is that they've barely wrestled on TV, and had a lengthy reign. Without time to actually be entertaining, - their count out loss against the Kabuki Warriors was fun, but was almost a one time thing - of course people are going to criticize them.
  22. Pretty sure this is Trish's best match ever, and while Flair was incredible in this, Stratus was the star. While it was a retirement match, it really didn't feel like a foregone conclusion. There were many moments in which it looked like Trish could beat the odds and either pin Charlotte or make her tap - to her own finishing move, no less - and it made for a great, exciting story. Only downside to this is that it makes you want have more of Trish, which you can't really have if it's her last match. Easy MOTN.
  23. Yes. Rollins will never sell anything, even if the story of the match is based around him being too hurt to do his stuff (see him vs Owens at HiaC 2016, vs HHH at WM33), but on the other hand he had the intensity needed for a match like this. It really felt like his life depended on this victory over Lesnar, and it made for a spectacle. Brock, of course, is one of the best bumpers ever. He's just not afraid of having his head bounce full force, and it made Rollins' offense look really damn good. Lesnar's offense was obviously great, to the point where a BEARHUG got the crowd invested. Great, great stuff.
  24. Gargano is a very polite, level-headed dude. That response almost seems in character, when thinking about it. But yeah, wrestlers should be more like Matt Riddle, saying "I will kick your ass, I don't care" while completely stoned.
  25. Candice FINALLY had a time to shine. Excellent underdog performance, from the first spot of the match, where she nearly lost by count out, down to the last moments, where she kicked out of the Moonsault. Io's new character is great. Cocky, arrogant, and ruthless. Those two had the best match of the night by a mile.
