  1. So. They just ran an angle where the OGz ran over a child. It's as terrible as one would expect which is a shame because they've otherwise been good and the LAX/OGz feud was actually one of the highlights. But my goodness... that segment was something to behold.
  2. I am not upset that Roman Reigns is the Big Dog of the World Wrestling Federation. By the way, Roman has less merch than AJ Styles, for instance. He might even have less T-Shirts than Ambrose and Rollins.
  3. Makes sense. There's this story about Michael Jordan telling the guy who was guarding him exactly what he would do. And he did exactly what he said he was gonna do. And he scored anyways.

    NXT talk

They've done it, lads. They managed to turn Gargano into a massive, massive loser
  5. Can you imagine Okada beating Tana for the case and beating Omega at the next WK? Would that be the most cowardly decision possible in this scenario?
  6. He looks like Scott Steiner. Shame he seems unable to grow a beard, tho.
  7. On the bright side, they did say the feud was going to continue, right?
  8. In this particular case, I'd say the observation was spot-on. Kairi did an excelent job with the selling, limping when she did her usual "plank walking", and other small details, so I believe that not using the elbow drop at the maximum height due to that would make sense and would be coherent. Otherwise... yeah. I agree with you. More often the not it is up to the fans to cover up for psychology flaws or gaps, and I found it to be even more common when people don't understand the language of the commentary. It can be a good thing, as we are actively providing critical input into something we enjoy, but sometimes it can just be covering up for obvious flaws more than we admit.
  9. Barring some roadblocks, it seems like they are going to do this - which from the likes of things seems like a incredibly well executed story. However, I don't expect them to keep Miz and Bryan apart all the way to the Road to Wrestlemania. I'm sensing either they'll pad this rivalry with other matches, or Bryan might become champ at the Rumble itself.
  10. Will do. I watch 205 very occasionally and there's never a bad match. Murphy might as well be one of the bestwrestlers in the world this year
  11. So. We are getting The Miz vs Bryan at SSD. The winner gets a WWE title opportunity. We'll also have The Shield in action, but they did not give any further details. Also, what previously was just Cena vs Owens was upgraded to Lashley/Cena vs Owens/Elias.
  12. Rowan was AMAZING in this match. Knowing that he was wrestling with pratically one arm, his performance stands out even more. I used to dislike him a lot, but the biggest takeaway from the Bludgeon Brothers is the MASSIVE improvement he's had both as a singles and as a tag wrestler (he used to be really good as the latter, but now he is even greater). Mad respect for him, and I wish him a speedy recovery.
  13. Fuck, who would've thought that Becky would be cheered over Charlotte? It's not like one of them was their best babyface and can garner sympathy easily and the other is one of the coldest acts in the entire company and has been for quite some time...
  14. If Nikki throws elbows like Misawa, Brie can now be called Brie Dundee. Them sweet punches.
  15. Miz in the opening segment! This is already Very Good.
  16. Wasn't a fan of Ambrose's grappefucking, even though it was indeed very crisp and he was established as someone dominant in that department. Once he started using his power, the match picked up. Damn good lariats and slams. That finish also ruled. Big boy Ambrose is MDK.
  17. @Microstatistics I think they just were very precise with their chances, and a more concise team overall. Courtois was on fire that day and we wasted way too many opportunities. We were kind of lucky to only concede 2 goals on the 1st half, to be honest. We tend to be favorites in continental tournaments, but that's usually because our peers are usually even worse than us. When it comes to World Cups we are slowly getting into our longest drought ever, which is not good. We just cannot seem to beat european squads since 2002 which fucking sucks. Styles vs Joe was actually really good. Joe exceeded all the expectations, and for once I was glad they did the usual DQ finish. This type of feud cannot be a one and done deal. Unsure if Joe ever gets the upper hand in this, but if he keeps on the good work, it might become a reality. They might announce their HiaC rematch tomorrow, too.
  18. Yeah. Zero faith in our national squad and it's not due to lack of quality players. The squad I support here in Brazil legit got me thinking I could fell ill at any time some years ago and that shit ain't right. Too young to be having heart attacks. Sometimes wrestling gets some stuff right and sometimes it gets it wrong, today it got some of them very right. There's always them Kawada and Han tapes to bring me some enjoyment, if all fails
  19. Shayna's offence is absurdly brutal. You have Baszler, who has that MiSu-like aura doing really sick stuff to limbs, and an amazing babyface like Kairi and you get some simple, yet effective wrestling. Quite a feel good story, as it is impossible to not like Sane. Best match on the card by a mile. At this point, Baszler, along with KOR and Velveteen Dream are the most consistently entertaining wrestlers of current NXT.
  20. Thanks, Micro! Wrestling is one of the few things I can enjoy without stressing out too much, so gotta see the bright side of things and see things more lightly as much as possible. I reserve my pessimism to football/soccer and other sports
  21. Anyway, if that's a heel turn, I am completely fine with it. Thing I've noticed is, Braun and Finn are clearly buddies, and Strowman also tagged a while with Lashley. Bob went against Corbin tonight, who now has the powers of a GM, since Steph gave Kurt some time off. Seems like we've got some Six-Man Tag goodness in our hands, buddies.
  22. As a rule of thumb yes, but sometimes that's not the case. I remember more than one case of The Miz going against 2 people on handicap matches, and he was the heel. I know it's not a usually smart practice, but in this particular case it makes sense.
  23. Not really bubba, the inclusion of Braun was a very smart decision on their part. I loved it, and current storytelling makes it even sweeter.
  24. Raw opens with Roman giving Finn a title shot, something that he was trying to get for years and never got. I stan a giving king. Later on, Braun comes up to Finn in the locker room and wishes him good luck, saying that he is going to cash-in tonight, whatever the result of the main event The main event happens, and it is obviously amazing, as Roman and Balor are incapable of having bad matches with each other - however, right before the finishing segment, Braun's music plays and he walks down the ramp, nearly costing Reigns the title, but nevertheless, The Big Dawg won. Braun gives Reigns a massive boot, and almost cashes in. The bell hasn't rung yet. However... SIERRA HOTEL INDIA ECHO LIMA DELTA SHIELD ARE BACK AND THEY THWART BRAUN'S CASH IN ATTEMPT! They give him a massive triple powerbomb through the table to end the show. Amazing stuff. Not sure if he's a heel now. I mean, that would also mean they just turned Seth and Ambrose heels, which is not really smart. Braun was actually the bigger asshole in this segment, tbf. We shall see.
  25. This main event and ending segment... my God.
