Very good wording there. Joe is one of the best promos in WWE and occasionally puts on good performances, but those are very few in between and he's been in the company for a while now. Him being physically broken against AJ in one of his least interesting runs of his career is a complete pass for me.

Fans will love him, but I think it's not really the best idea to not do anything with him (and it from the looks of things, they'll have around 4 months to give him a big program for WK) after he was largely responsible for giving a HUGE attendance spike at the biggest NJPW event of the year. They might not be able to reproduce that, with the treatment they gave him, and I doubt Omega/Tana would get close, either.

He came back a while ago and said some weird stuff about "the state of PWO". It was amusing. About Orton, they might even do something if it gains enough traction. It might not be as consequential as them changing the name of the Women's Wrestlemania Battle Royal (after all, sponsors were involved), but it can happen, given that they are deadset on enforcing a more family friendly image and therefore get as much money as possible. However, Orton is also somewhat of an asset to them, and I would expect a light punishment. Far from cases like Enzo or Swann, at least.

That is indeed true. For the better and for the worse, pro wrestling is a Very Much Online form of entertainment. Somehow it seems even worse, because it is not uncommon to have death threats to family members of performers, or accusations of sexual favors, even though they are just doing their job. Nasty, nasty stuff.

I would have to say "yes" and "no" to the questin the thread proposes. Yes, it is an amazing time because you have a ton of wrestling to watch, with relative easy access to it. Technology makes us not only be aware of the on-going wrestling scene but also aware of what happened in the past, so we can watch footage of some matches that are over a decade old. There's something for everyone. However, I'd argue that technology also brought some very undesirable things - people can just talk so much shit online, and considering that's where the majority of things are, it is nearly impossible to avoid idiotic fans saying the most horrible things, and at points it kind of tunes me out from what is happening. It is one thing to say that other people's behavior shouldn't affect your enjoyment of anything, but at the same time, there is just so much negativity one can take, and it is getting harder and harder to filter.
