  1. Unless they make Roman turn into the delusional heel with this material, he's fucked. His promos are good and he sounds convincing, but considering the overall booking, that does not matter at all.
  2. KO feuding with Braun surely kills a lot of the interest I have in Strowman
  3. Him trying at least 20 seconds to come up with that Infinity War analogy during the ladder match was PAINFUL
  4. I don't even think age phobia is a valid point, since AJ, Cena and other names are also around the same age and getting more attention. They have *something* in store for him, but it's hard to guess what since they didn't do anything so far.
  5. What's weird about Lashley is that he returned and did basically nothing. Much like Strowman, the only thing they've done is wrestle. Even people like Jose and Titus had more chances to develop their characters and build some sort of connection with the crowd. Lashley, who's back after 10 or so years, has done nothing. It's really weird, but I love this tag team with Braun on paper.
  6. Cole is by far the best commentator in WWE and it's not even close. The issue with him is that he's got Vince and Dunn blasting him through the headphones, but when he's on a more "natural" setting - Beast in the East, UK Tournament - his commentary shines through.
  7. Otunga's role in 2016 was actually funny. I would go as far as say that he and JBL carried Mauro to his best days ever. Him saying that Miz's life was just a bootleg version of his is an all-time burn to me.
  8. Doesn't Rowan have way more years of experience than Cass, tho? I would go with Cass, if only for the fact that he can actually have engaging promos.
  9. Does Rollins coming back from injury at MitB 2016 to a huge ovation, and still being treated as a heel count? If not, his horrible face turn when Triple H fucked him over at joined sides with Kevin Owens. Months of just him being a bitter asshole to everyone and his motivation being "I'm not being favored anymore so everything sucks". It's a double whammy.
  10. We are getting two MitB qualifying matches tonight: Sasha Banks vs Ruby Riot vs Ember Moon (holy shit) Finn Balor vs Sami Zayn vs Roman Reigns (uhh okay)
  11. You are actually absolutely right. His babyface work, at least in terms of character presentation, is lacking. He still has some of his worst tendencies when he wrestles, doing more flippy dippy stuff, having no presence during spots, and sometimes no selling things just to do those kewl movez. However: the crowd is eating everything he's doing right now. People are cheering him constantly, they even chant "Burn it down" to the tune of that ridiculous emocore scream. The crowds are carrying him to that top babyface spot, believe it or not. While I don't think that would happen, it would be wise for WWE to ride that wave as much as they can. They could even salvage Roman by turning on Seth.
  12. I'd go with Ranallo, although Coach's unwillingness to actually watch the fucking product and know what he's talking about at least on a surface level is indeed very annoying.
  13. Also: did Road Dogg forgot Almas and Sanity are on SD, or he just does not care?
  14. Is it bad? I legit never noticed. Do you have any matches that stick out to you with him being particularly bad? I'm curious now. It's not bad in a "delayed, no jump back bump", but every single time he took a pedigree, he fell on his knees. That happens with tons of other moves, too.
  15. Yikes.
  16. Had to start the thread early because I just saw this: THE FUCK ARE THEY DOING?
  17. It's on the WWE twitter feed as well. Hope it's nothing serious.
  18. This was actually incredible. That knee into the post into the F4LL had the crowd going insane and it was just some basic, old-school stuff. Seth toned down his indierrific moves in this match, although sometimes he kinda no sold the damage, nearly jumping up to the superplex and all that. However, all things considered, he's improved substantially from what he was during 2016/17. Miz was great, as is his usual form. At this point, he might be the best wrestler on the planet when it comes to creating credible nearfall situations. He's made Ziggler relevant for his feud and made all the matches be nail-biting affairs. No surprise this was good as it is, as those two have had incredible matches beforehand, and with Finn Balor thrown into the mix as well.
  19. I actually really enjoyed this. Cass is obviously green as a singles competitor (although he did have some good performances such as the Fatal 4 Way where KO got the Universal Title), and Bryan had to hold him by the hand - literally - to get a good match. The whole story was about how Cass projected his own past shortcomings onto Bryan, and he got his ass handed because of that. The post match beatdown was cool and people reacted the way the wrestlers intended. Mission accomplished.
  20. The match itself was actually good, but it would be ten times more efficient if Alexa as a face and Nia as a heel. I know comparing most people to Daniel Bryan is unfair, but he managed to be the dickish heel against SHEAMUS and his performance against him at that lovely 2/3 Falls was masterful. Alexa just didn't really wrestle like a heel, and while Nia's bumping was impressive, she didn't do enough to garner sympathy. The post match promo was also dreadful. Crowd was having none of that and the whole "B A STAR" was the cherry on the cake.
  21. Roman can be a top star, but certainly not as a face anymore. Current options are Seth, Gargano, Bryan's still there, and I am very interested to see what the top management think of Velveteen Dream.
  22. He's dead, guys. There's absolutely no way they can go right now other than a heel turn. They are trying to dig a hole on a wall using plastic spoons, with the current approach. They fucked it up.
  23. Seth feuds with Balor, and the former falls upwards to the main event scene, with the latter getting the IC belt Roman wins the briefcase Rollins main events Summerslam or another considerably big PPV against Lesnar. Roman cashes in and pins Seth, finally becoming Universal Champion, turning heel in the process, and cockblocking his former friend. It won't happen, but that's the sort of shit I would like to see so damn much (and it would bring new life to Roman and make people beg even more for a Rollins main event run)
  24. That was actually a really good match, once they got done pissing people off with the rest holds.
  25. I mean, it's Joe just kicking the shit out of him so far, and the crowd loves Reigns getting the shit kicked out of him. Crowds are usually restless during Roman matches. Of course Joe's aura comes into play here, but Roman enciting those reactions is a constant.
