WWE TV 02/04 - 02/10 Bolsonaro is all abouth death squads baby
Cornette's racket replied to KawadaSmile's topic in WWE
Watching angle from raw last night and at the rumble and most of his run he has been completely fucked. He blew up coming to the ring at the rumble and he looks like he's about to have a heart attack at any moment. Given that WWE seem fairly strict on the health of their wrestlers I wonder how kurt passed the physical this time. -
Christian should be in this year. He's the forgotten guy out of the TLC era who is retired and isn't in.

It is and well done to the commentary team for thinking on their feet and covering for savage seeming to forget where he was and jumped over the top rope. I'm assuming it wasn't part of the plan as there was silence for a few seconds whereas savage going to pin yoko in the 93 rumble was clearly part of the match. Imagine savage vs Bret hart at WM 9 for the title though ? It'd have still been a bad mania but at least we'd have had a great match to end it. -

1992 absolutely still holds up. Heenan is just gold and him and monsoon just worked so well together. -

Well I wasn't watching it for the first time I hadn't watched it in years. I was making the point that it's a good way to catch up on the rumble matches in the run up to this years event. -
they might be the recently added folder if that's still there but the way I find them is by looking here and going by the dates.

The royal rumble matches were made into a collection on the network and I decided to rewatch some of the mid nineties ones to see if they hold up any better with hindsight. The answer is a big no. Although I'd forgotten that dory funk jr was in the 1996 rumble and didn't embarrass himself in any way. Jesus I know that business was down and watching raw from 1994/95 has been painful. There's some awful shite in this time period. -
The more things change (allegedly anyway) the more they stay the same in WWE. Hogan must pose has changed to Stephanie must get the credit somehow. On nikki Bella I agree she has actually gotten more than passable in the ring. I don't know if anyone here knows the answer but with this all women's ppv coming up, who's cornflakes in WWE did melina and Victoria urinate in ? On a show that will be showcasing women from many eras of WWE, two of the best they had seem like persona non grata.

That main event was painful to watch. The only good thing was it was in daylight for me in Ireland this time. It was nice to watch a PPV at a reasonable hour. The show was okay for the most part bar some of the finishes which were a bit poor, I don't know what was meant to happen in the DB vs Miz match regards the finish but unless it's a very clever work it looked like a mess up of some kind.
-
Yeah it's a case or I'll believe it when I see it with that.
-
Yeah I think it was found on something labelled "omni live events." I mean how big was the wcw library when WWE got it in 2001 ? It included everything that wcw got when it bought JCP in '88 and Crockett had bought other territories so I mean the potential footage they could have is nuts.
-
I'd say WWE have shed loads of unseen footage either backstage or in ring stuff. I mean if they were filming Kevin Nash walking through the curtain in MSG after defeating backland and showing the guys in the locker room then I'd say they have recorded all kinds of stuff.
-
The first ten episodes of main event are now on the network from 2012. Aren't they supposed to be putting the missing episodes up ? They've put up more superstar picks and a ted dibiase collection that on first glance looks interesting.
-
Also Halloween havoc 1998 has that match between hogan and warrior that was as bad as I remember. I mean do somethings in match go wrong from time to time ? Yes they do and nothing you can do except shack it off and keep going but this was a mess of a match. I've seen animals knocked down and dead that weren't as bad.
-
I said it was watching HHH vs undertaker but I'm also watching back some wcw PPVs from 1997 and 1998. The main event of Halloween havoc 98 between DDP and Goldberg was a bloody good wrestling match.
-
I'm just watching the HHH vs undertaker from the Kuwait cup and it the referee the long time timekeeper/beer can chucker mark yeaton ?

WWE TV 09/24 - 09/30 Is Palmeiras the greatest soccer team on Earth?

To quote Dusty Rhodes "Dont do shit you don't know how to do." Why is Brie doing this stuff. And of course liv dropped her head she'd just got kicked straight in her head and was probably stunned and then got caught again. -
That's my guess. I mean any other guy I've ever watched him manage they were all able to cut a promo and he never spoke and patera could talk as well so I wasn't expecting the grand wizard to talk.
-
No I'm watching the first all star wrestling episode of 1980 on the network and clearly I've not seen enough grand wizard stuff but I didn't recall him speaking. He's managing ken patera in a match and it's a post match interview and Vince and patera do most of the talking but the grand wizard just starts talking. Ken patera is a good promo. When I say good I mean it makes sense.
-
Wait since when did the grand wizard talk in the WWF ? I'd never heard him talk before but here he is talking away.
-
I'm watching the first episode from all star wrestling from 1980 and say what you want about Freddie blasie, it takes a brave man to wear all pink and make it work.
-
Yes there are supposed to be four matches. The blue lighting and the guy riffing away on a banjo type instrument was a change.
-
I was wondering after seeing Meiko satomura if she had ever faced asuka(kana) in Japan. It appears it happened and it's on YouTube and it's brilliant stuff. I'd love to see it in WWE in some form. It wouldn't be as stiff as Japan but still in WWE I feel they could have a classic.

They had some distribution in the north east because cornette talks about them going do shows in the Boston area. -
"chemistry" is a way of putting it. The flair family as a whole seem like a disaster. I don't know if it was bix who did a very detailed article on the whole litany of issues financial or otherwise that happened to them all. Ric was no angel obviously but his wife Beth was just as bad going on that article. How they stayed married as long as they did I'll never know. Also outside of David there seems to beat at the very least a family tradition on marrying multiple times. There seems to be a trip switch in her head about getting to comfortable with him. And yes he is trying to make up for lost time.
