  1. Tommy Dreamer did some pretty heinous stuff on screen with women in his ECW run, and was said to be real fuckin weird with Francine and Beulah in the 90s. I'm not particularly surprised that he's of the "well, he didn't rape her it wasn't that bad come on guys" kind of mindset, but I am a bit surprised he was so willing to air that out on TV in 2021 without thinking of the consequences.
  2. What a weird thing to lie about when it could be so easily proven
  3. Everyone in the industry has to shoulder some of the blame, which is why no one wants to be the one to take down someone like Flair because it reflects poorly on basically everyone who has been in the industry in the past oh, 45 years.
  4. Oh, well probably because Dreamer was defending Flair and then victim blaming and veering into cancel/outrage culture shit and Brock was not involved in the production and so didn't have stupid shit to say and draw attention to himself.
  5. Well, yes, I did think you meant it literally since you mentioned it multiple times in a "WWE fans will defend their guys no matter what" kind of implication. 50 something year old legend spinning his dick around, cornering a woman and forcing her to touch it and has a long history of such behavior with his dick out vs. Young rookie Brock flashing someone. Surely you can see why one is getting more focus than the other at the moment.
  6. Probably because Brock Lesnar wasn't the focus of the incident, Ric Flair was, and what he is accused of doing is worse and a long pattern of behavior for him. Really don't think people are not talking about Brock because they're worried about Brock vs Roman in Saudi, lol
  7. I have a hard time believing people upset with Dreamer saying wild shit are really super hyped and big supporters of SaudiMania blood money deals but idk
  8. I don't think the industry is ready to cancel Ric Flair, because that implicates basically everyone that has worked with him and his superiors for 40 some years as accomplices who never stopped working with him, hiring him, or honoring him as a GOAT. Except Shane Douglas and Scott Steiner, I guess.
  9. I feel like in 3 months Flair will be welcomed with open arms and there will still be think pieces put out about him but people are still going to pop and whoooo because like it's been said, everyone has known this about Flair for decades, it's not even been an open secret it's just been out in the open that this is the guy he is for 40 years now.
  10. I could completely believe that Dusty would have had a fully kayfabed reality show in the 80s if they were a thing then. And he'd absolutely have used it to shoot angles for the wrestling shows.
  11. Cody should basically be in MJF's role, imo.
  12. Jade has the look and charisma but man she is so green I'm not even sure she should be on TV at all yet. She'll do a real impressive power spot, but then you see her doing something as basic as a stomp and it looks so atrocious you'd think she wasn't trained at all. She's only been working what like...6 months? And her first match was a celebrity stunt match. I think she's been working frequently on Dark and whatnot, but she's still a 100% rookie in every sense and it very much shows. It's truly wild they debuted her the way they did with basically no training or experience in a match with Shaq. Lmao.
  13. Really hope tk gets an ad free block for the show because commercial breaks have ruined every major match they've put on TV and it would fucking suck to have Bryan vs Omega be 40% pip for Domino's ads
  14. Oh shit I forgot FTR vs Sting/Darby and I'm 1000% down for that match. I wonder if Sting will ever do a singles match again.
  15. The more I think about it, the more I realize this Lambert shit really ticks off most of my boxes on shit I really dislike 1. Explicitly pointing out things are fake, but THIS and THESE people are real 2. Angles about guys complaining about booking 3. Using real sport athletes not to add legitimacy to pro wrestling, but to point out how lame and fake pro wrestling is 4. Getting heel heat by telling fans they're stupid and wasting their time watching the shows 5. People like this repeatedly being clearly invited guests and given TV and ring time for no apparent reason 6. Chris Jericho 7. Jack Swagger Just really veered into full Russoism bullshit last night and my fear is it won't end next week, but Hager will turn on Jericho and join his MMA buddies and that will be Jericho's next 9 months. Also was not a fan of Christian's dig on NXT/Cole, as that A. Felt way out of character for a vet face B. Shits on a lot more talent than just Adam Cole in AEW.
  16. Lmao Christian shits on NXT, Dan Lambert shits on AEW indie style to pop the marks as a set up for Jericho to make gay jokes, CM Punk getting punked out by Taz's son, Tommy End cutting promos on Rosario Dawson. Tony's yayo stash strong tonight.
  17. Lmao the only way that could make this Dan Lambert stuff worse is add Jericho
  18. Tommy End cutting a promo on Rosario Dawson on TNT in 2021 what the fuck is wrestling
  19. Yes, I understand that's the gimmick. But it's not the 80s, that shit is is just try hard nonsense that isn't entertaining in a heel heat way or even go away heat kind of way. It just makes me roll my eyes and not want to watch anything he's involved with because it's just lame. Of course anyone can get heat saying the most offensive things they can possibly think of and still say on TV. That's not hard, man.
  20. This is already corny as hell. It's getting the reaction they want but it is so lame and try hard shtick like everything related to MJF.
  21. Cage doesn't carry himself as anything other than a random meat heat. Dude has no personality in or out of the ring at all, Brian Cage is a fucking machine was more accurate than Excalibur intended.
  22. The Wild Samoans were big draws and headlined a lot of shows both as a team and solo, and Cowboy Bob himself was involved in the main event of the first WM, though.
  23. The WM headlined by Wayne Bloom's, Rick Steiner's, and Bull Buchanan's sons is gonna be lit
  24. I don't think Pillman ever really pulled it together. Dude was just sloppy all around, imo. He did a lot of stuff but none of it was ever clean, transitions to and from high spots were never fluid, always looked like he was thinking about his spots, selling is always wonky, promos were never good even as Loose Cannon Pillman. I've always found him to be very overrated as an in ring guy and as a character. The Loose Cannon period in particular might be the single most overrated thing in wrestling lore. That shit was Pillman acting like a complete cartoon for a couple of weeks while Bischoff would say things like "He's really pushing it" and then he was gone.
  25. I only saw literally a few seconds, which was the very end of the Imperium tag. When did they, especially MB, get so fucking lean? Anyway, definitely a massive upgrade in visuals. It definitely feels like a developmental show, but the brighter atmosphere, more domed look with stadium seating, and the colors definitely at least gave things a fresher aesthetic. I saw clips of Rick Steiner's son and lol'd for real when he gave his name. The fuck lmao. The clip I saw of him in the ring, he looked a bit shaky but I guess he's very young and has very little training. I wonder if they changed to avoid people talking about Scott or something.
