Going to listen to this over the weekend while working on the MX set. I cringe at Tim's music selections but if that is kept to a minimum, I can get through it.
-
Once Loss's schedule calms down, I am going to talk to him and Sorrow about booting up PWO Radio and we might have more of these viewing parties. This podcast is just to help me get through the set as I had no desire to watch it on my own to be honest. Feedback has been good even if it has been critical and I have had fun every single night I have done this.

Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3

Maybe they can push Titus as a singles guy. I love that guy. -
It's basically making fun of their base. They should be pissed.

Both Johnny and I were marking out during the Larry Z match and were pretty specific about why we liked the match. Not the best tag on the set (the faces were not that strong) but much better than boring ass Steve O and Dino Bravo. Plus he heel team was awesome the whole way through. Thumbs up from me and Johnny. As for Hennig and Saito, I can rewatch it but I don't think my opinion will deviate much.

Tonight's show is up and running. Just me and Johnny P tonight. The time just flew by as Johnny and I embarrass ourselves and mark out over a great night of wrestling. MAtt D gets multiple shout outs. Johnny forgets Paul Ellering's name. I forget the finish of half the matches right after watching them. We give deep, thought provoking analysis like trying to remember the name of the drop toe hold. Two back to back nights with Johnny P. Listen to the shows and let us know what you think. http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/talkC...6382&cmd=tc We'll be back on Friday with Sorrow and Kris Z in the fold and anyone else who wants to join us.

Hell, the teabag Tancredo stuff isn't getting over anyway. Have Swagger and Zeb come out, twelve World's Greatest Slams later... new #1 contender at Mania. Problem solved.

I don't think anyone, including myself, had Brody at the bottom of the barrel. If not for some bad finishes, no one makes Brody look good like Jerry Blackwell. -

Had an all star cast on tonight. We had TWO WON Hall of Fame voters with the return of Dave Musgrave and Kris Z. We had double Johnny's with Johnny P and Johnny Sorrow. http://www.talkshoe.com/talkshoe/web/talkC...6382&cmd=tc Show is up now and Dylan will be SHOCKED~! to hear that the final voting on the matches we watched tonight had little to no consensus or groupthink. I talked to Johnny P and he is ready for another round tomorrow night so we are going to knock one out again tomorrow for anyone who wants to join for Part 2 of Disc 4. -
You can be and are wrong. Oh shit... blood feud!!!

Hell Dave, the only thing Johnny Sorrow and I talk about is your appearance on the first show... "Remember that time Dave Musgrave insulted Texans?" "Remember when Musgrave made us laugh with his one liners?" Remember when Musgrave was the only Canadian who came on the show?" -

If people are listening to the show, they hear your opinions as they are watching the match if they are following along. For example, I had no idea that Johnny Sorrow didn't like Rheingans-Martel until We were on the podcast. From what I gather, you don't feel the need to get on a podcast and discuss matches you have already written about. My point was that some people don't know what you wrote because they don't venture in those threads until after they have watched the match. Some people like myself prefer to hear about matches instead of reading about matches. -

I am not talking about tonight's show. In another thread, you specifically stated this wasn't the thing for you. That is why I am bummed. When you responded to Kris, I didn't take that as you were not going to do tonight's show but would not take part in any show because your immediate response had nothing to do with Tim Noel. I love Tim. I had to wait for Johnny before I could not commit to Tim for tonight. I am working around Johnny P.s schedule. I am not implying you should ditch Tim's show to join ours. As for discussion at DVDVR, there are people who wait until they see the match before going in there. I thought you would be entertaining to have on the show. If you feel like you would just end up saying the same thing you already typed, yeah probably better to not have you on reading paragraphs. There are people who want you on the show. My post was to show people there are other people worth listening to who will be on in the future. This is more of a fun atmosphere, hence the party moniker. Hope that clears up any confusion. -
Between the strong early showing, the awesome mid 80s showing with the IC Title and the nice swan song with Garvin at the end, Valentine will be all over the revamped set. Seriously, a guy that was short changed on the first set who will come out of the next set looking like a million bucks!

I know about the Tim Noel show. I talked to him last week. I had to wait until I heard from Johnny P before not committing to that one. Bummed you don't want to do the show. We'll survive. -

We have plenty of other people ready to jump in. The big disappointing thing about Dylan not joining in is that he helped select the matches. No need in beating a dead horse when you are right there Kris. When we do the results show with Harrington, Dylan can sound off then about the virtues of Brad Rheingans. In the meantime, everyone else who enjoyed being a part of this over the past few weeks is welcome to jump back in. My buddy Eric R is going to join us soon and it has been too long since the Internet has heard his voice. Johnny P will be on tonight. Maybe I can coax the Texan hating Canadian Musgrave back on the show to defend Dino Bravo. -

Kris puts most Brody matches on the sets. He needs to call in.
