  1. Normally in a situation like that it's an ad causing it so I don't know.
  2. Is DVDVR showing having an identity threat for anyone else. Norton360 has the big red ! going
  3. Mauro Ranallo & Dave Lagana marking for each other while kissing Jim Ross' ass on Twitter during tonight's PPV is hilarious.
  4. UFC giving those guys press passes still amuses me. This UFC is going to do a pretty bad buyrate if you go by trending topics on Twitter as they've only trended a couple of times and they haven't reached above 6th worldwide all night. They usually do much better.
  5. And it wasn't Dave that reported that it was Chico
  6. Oh man Dave went on a small rant about wrestling matches aging over time and how a great match is great no matter what on the show last night around the 40:00 mark. The show was free so it's a must listen for you guys.
  7. Yeah this is terrible
  8. Something else that doesn't get talked about nearly enough is how Verne invaded LA in like 1969 trying to take out Mike LeBell. Yohe & Jeff Walton have talked about it in the past and how Verne came in with guns blazing only to get his ass kicked by LeBell who brought in the NWA big guns. It's definitely funny considering what happened to Verne 15 years later.
  9. Bob Polk was the shadow promoter for Jim Barnett during the GCW talent sharing period.
  10. They stayed in Alabama/Panhandle of Florida. The area which was the old SECW circuit was pretty much dead after ICW died until Continental came back in.
  11. Wrestling in the city of Knoxville was a total mixed bag from 1980-85 after being a wrestling stronghold for years with John Cazana & Ron Fuller running it for years then the All-Star split with ICW talent which featured a big war that ended up with both promotions going out of business and Jim Barnett having to pick up the town for a few months then Crockett picking it up. Crockett then ran with his regular crew until late Spring 1981 where he sold out to Flair & Mulligan who ran it until SCW went under. Knoxville then became GCW again but it wasn't run regularly for almost 4 years when Ron Fuller decided to come back to town with Continental.
  12. Dana White gets quite a bit of pub for wanting all of his fighters to tweet and wants to give them bonuses for tweets and followers so you knew something bad was going to happen quick. This just hit Twitter 30 minutes ago
  13. Freshmen in college don't know Bo
  14. I'm okay and luckily we didn't get any major damage on my street but on each side of me there were houses and businesses destroyed and lives lost.
  15. Nope
  16. I've always thought to be a successful indy in the south, you need to mix the talent up between the older guys that would bring the fans in and the better indy workers around to have good matches and get over to the older base.
  17. Alright I'm going at this by memory, the whole Ric/Arn angle started at Bash at the Beach when after Vader lost to Hogan, Flair got up in his grill then got whacked by Vader with Arn coming in for the save but gets scared by Vader with Flair scurrying out of the steel cage and they tuck tail to the back. Flair then goes on TV and rips Arn for not beating Vader's ass. Flair then goes on to face Alex Wright and wants Arn to help him win the match but Arn just stands there saying Flair needs to win on his own which he would do. Then comes the Clash two weeks later where Vader beats both Arn & Flair in a handicap match which Flair immediately blamed Arn for the loss as he was pinned by Vader but Arn at one point had Vader finished but Flair wanted the glory for himself and it backfired. Then that takes us to Fall Brawl and the videos will tell the story. Flair promo starts at the 8:30 mark: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAG9G8Jf5zo Arn promo and beginning of the match: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jFGMv2tGWy4 The rest of the match: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fyMwJY4gtf8 Now to the cage match Arn promo for the Nitro cage match: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AYvToT0yR48 The cage match: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NsvGApw4mHk After that is when Sting got involved. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fqWjtO19AIU Then there was the Halloween Havoc match which ended the Flair/Arn feud.

  19. There was a lot of idiocy from Chico last night on the show especially involving gymnastics and how serious of a fan is Rima Fakih. Him on the RAW recap was almost unbearable as well.
  20. He made a cameo on his Youtube show plus I had friends that heard stuff at fanfest where someone asked Trips about Ryder and he kinda praised him for using social media to get himself over.
  21. Like I just posted on DVDVR, Ryder has some fans in high places (Cena & Trips)
