I LOVED this match. Sure the pace wasn't fast but I don't think it would have benefitted from a faster one. This was worked like a huge blockbuster show down and they gave all the face's spots plenty of time to soak up the incredible crowd reacting. All three faces get their turn to run some big offense on the heels and it's all great. There's a brief FIP on Sting before a ref bump, which I thought was going to result in a dumb clusterfuck but instead the heels quickly bring in a chair but the faces turn it around on them and Sting takes it with a Scorpion Deathlock on Nash. Incredibly entertaining, insane crowd reaction and some great big spots. Goldberg's spear on Rick looked especially great.

It's insane the margin by which Daniel Bryan is the most over guy in the company. The crowd are SO into every single thing he's doing in this match.

The main event and post-match angle combine to make a really great TV segment. The match was a lot of fun with them working a different match than we've seen from them, with Guido getting more heat in the beginning and the end being worked around a knee injury to a submission win. Post-match angle is really hot and Taz is crazy over right now.

Really like how this match was worked. In a squash you'll usually have a guy hitting all his signature moves but instead of that Test decides to focus on the arm and get a submission victory. Good looking beat down and Test looked strong.

Cornette is on fire here and this is a great segment. Power Pro has had some good TV since the Gilbert angle started.

For a bait and switch this was pretty well done. All the heat for the match not happening went on Triple H and the wild brawl was more entertaining than another Taker/Austin match would have been. -

Fun segment. Savage can still talk and still has loads of charisma so it's nice to see him in something that isn't over the top awful like the Nash feud. Mona's delivery is just comically bad.

I didn't really care for this for the most part, the work didn't impress me and the gimmick got old fast. The ref spot was great though.

The opening spot was really awesome, Ikeda was stiff as hell and the ending was really cool with them managing to do a string of missed strike spots that looked believable and very in keeping with the style. This was very good but a little disappointing, definitely some steps down from the best Battlarts matches of the year I thought.

This is kind of an odd over-telegraphed "this guy's gonna get a push now" moment like Bagwell had with Piper a couple months earlier.

There was some fun stuff in this match and I liked the dives at the end, but I didn't really think this was anything special.

Taz sure could talk. Too bad he wasn't bigger.

I don't know what to make of Johnny Smith. His offense here has too much of an exhibition feel, like he's influenced by so many things that he has no real style of his own.

This wasn't a Misawa/Kawada standout but this was definitely still a great match. As always the strike exchanges are great, there's a feeling of it being a real competition that very few match-ups approach, long term momentum swings and tons of great big moments. I really liked Kawada countering Misawa's apron Tiger Driver attempt into a fireman's carry throw to the floor, and I like the logic behind Kawada getting a long run of offense after that -- Misawa went for a move that would have been devastating, but when it went wrong he had to dig himself out of a deep hole. Another particularly great moment was Misawa desperately struggling to get out of the Ganso Bomb. The ending really doesn't do any favors for Kawada at all though, especially comparing this match to the recent Misawa/Kobashi match.

I liked this a lot, and especially Otani. Love how the faces go after him before he can even get his jacket off and when he finally makes a comeback and whips the jacket at one of them. Also love him getting out of a surfboard by biting Wagner's finger. They got personal here and bent the rules which made the body of the match a lot of fun and then really went into a workrate heavy home stretch which was very good. Sort of feels like an NJ juniors version of an MPro multiman tag.

Of all the dumb things WCW's done this year, just changing Goldberg's theme is up there. Nash heel turn is dumb and actually makes the match feel like less of a big deal.

Does Bischoff have an offical role yet? Why is he stopping the match where the stipulation is CONTROL OF WCW? Other than that, Sting's comeback was cool.

I really like the Aztec Warfare match. A "great" match, maybe not, the LU style gets kind of exposed when guys are going back and forth too long like they were at times in that match, but there were enough big spots and bells and whistles that it was really entertaining. Last weeks show I actually loved, maybe my favorite episode yet. All the matches were distinct in their goals and delivered what they should have. The main event is overrated by some but I thought that it worked the LU style in a particularly "main event" fashion and really distinguished itself as a world title match. Not the kind of match I'll call a MOTYC or anything but for what it was I enjoyed it a lot. I liked Cage a lot, as a big musclehead he actually stands out on the show. He needs to ditch some of the indie dork offense though and focus on simple power moves.

The other Taz/Tajiri match is much better but I still thought this was pretty good. Tajiri gets some good offense in before the big ending with Taz standing tall running through all the guys on the ramp. That stuff was pretty well done and the crowd was really into it, and the work that came before was just fine, so I enjoyed this overall. Don't get the ending either. Didn't pick up on what it was supposed to be and if it was just barbed wire ... did they want to make the audience think it was something different? Treating a barbed wire spot like that on a show with a flaming table bump seems rather odd.

Man that opening promo was tasteless and over the top but I don't care, I loved it. In a wrestling landscape where WWE is so micomanaged and sanitized and so many of the smaller promotions have no real character, seeing something this over the top and intense was great. Loved Bubba grabbing another fan's beer and throwing it in the face of the guy he was jawing with. The TV match definitely wasn't as good as the first but it was really fun overall. Everything was great up to the crowd brawling where they kind of lost me, went too long in lighting where you could barely make out what was going on -- on my pretty low quality TV at least. Took me out of it a little but I was back into it by the ending, which I really liked as a spot. You get the babyfaces triumphant and a huge pop, followed by a Dudley beat down followed by New Jack's return to take them out with a really into it crowd. I really loved this whole segment. You can criticize ECW for a million things all day long but you watch something like this and can understand how it had really dedicated fans. This doesn't feel like something that would happen anywhere else and all this must have been really exciting to see live.

This match had some good stuff in it but I was sort of out of it at times. Bucanero needed to simplify his offense. I really liked the opening with Bucanero pushing Shocker off the ropes, into a back drop to set up a dive. The ending moments were good too. Post-match is cool with Bucanero as the sore loser.

Love the brawling in the first fall. An especially great moment is Olimpico reversing an irish whip on the outside for his comeback and sending (I think) Shocker flying into the crowd. Really liked the ending with the tecnicos taking it two falls in a row and turning the rudos' cheating against them. Very nice intense brawl.

Really fast paced and athletic match that totally flew by. Pretty much every exchange is impressive and very entertaining. Aguila did some pretty spectacular flying and Virus was great.
