And as we learned with Rock last year and Hogan in TNA, the third party that the appearance is being booked to promote makes them not promote wrestling.Yup. In no way are Marvel Studios having a guy in a supporting role appear with his Rasslin belt.

It'd be more relevant , I guess, to see if the PPV's with matches Dave or whoever praised had bigger buy rates for the encore showings. It'd still be totally flawed, but it's a little closer to the original thread question and intent.

I agree with that 100% Since the whole title shot deal can be rewritten like mad, it was a blown opportunity to not have had Santino win. It would have been a giant burst of happy that would have lasted 24 hours as Del Rio would beat him on RAW the next night to get the title shot

The HBK "Mr. Wrestlemania " thing refers to the amount of good to great or important matches he's been in at Mania and his effort in them. People like us can nitpick or look at "great" matches and say " not so great", but overall I'd say it's not a bad nickname.

That isn't really the MO anymore. They have no problem with one guy going over again and again... Exhibit #1: Sheamus vs. Christian. I loved the kendo stick beatdown, but Christian needs to beat him soon with enormous amounts of cheating.
