Because in no way will it be a match as much as it will be an angle.
  2. We kill it on this show. Continental was a blast and we absorb it and then give back podcast wonderfulness.

It's funny, back in the early nineties I hated Takers magic stuff, but now I fucking love it. If you can't just have fun and say "It's magic" then just think, "Taker's doing mind games with the help of the Druids who are David Copperfield, Chriss Angel, and a team of special effects experts who work for him." And I'm sure Brock is ok, he landed on his marble noggin.

As long as they lose in about 48 seconds after a Spear, Piece of Mind, Nigel Lariat and a triple triple powerbomb then it will be fine. Whatever, I love the Outlaws. And the team with Kane should be called, "Team Goodhelmet""...lol

Holy fuck everything about that Cena/ Harper match is why I love wrestling. Especially the ending. This reminds me a lot of the Dusty/ Sullivan Florida stuff.
  11. Justin Gabriel is in the battle royal. I didn't think of him.
  12. Arnold was fucking hilarious. And man, Joe Mangangiello is a fucking giant.
  13. Big E on twitter is a pretty hilarious guy, he needs to try and bring that out more.
  14. Orton still laughing as he was sitting on the floor selling the spear was funny as hell.
  15. Oh that's right, I forgot about that.
  16. You don't want two good guy teams in that three way. As it is it's Good guy Usos, bad guy Rybaxel, and Bad Guy Real Americans with a guy who the crowd is itching to cheer for so much it's turned them into "cool heels". The Usos need to be the only pure good guy team in that match, having the Rhodes in it would throw off the dynamic.
  17. That actually sounds like a fun match. It should be fun and I'm wondering if they choose Mania for the Cesaro turn to start. Or not turn but Americans break up.
  18. Well that's two different things. I guess they must be changing up their ideas on the tag match to include Ryback and Axel, but Cena was never actually going to be in the Battle Royal.
  19. Sin CaraAnd Ryback is definite , he was like the second guy announced.
  20. Because you are running a thirty man battle royal two months after running a thirty man battle royal which you sell as a unique, one off annual event, one that consistently gets good buys because of that. How does a battle royal "devalue" the Rumble? The Rumble is different and it's result affects the title match at Mania. The Andre memorial is a normal battle royal where I think the winner gets a trophy. Who's ever going to say "why did I buy the Rumble since they're doing a battle royal in the mid card at Mania?"

  22. Unrelated to this year, but I'm watching the Mania 28 HOF uncut and holy shit, JBL's speech inducting Ron Simmons is outstanding, funny, and touching. Try and find it, it's so fucking good. Just one thing that starts it that's great is JBL saying that the night before a writer came up to him saying he was assigned to help him with his speech. JBL says he can't repeat what he told him and that the day he needs help talking about the best friend he's ever had is the day you can put him in the ground.
  23. What's this story? I didn't start following stuff on the net til 2004 so there's probably a lot of well known dirtsheet stories from around this time I have no idea of. After Pillman died, Vince addressed the troops and admitted that some of his ideas weren't working as well as he'd like and encouraged the talent to be more pro-active in their character development. That led to more "reality-based" characters/promos and less stuff like Thurman Sparky Plugg and TL Hopper. I thought that was after that RAW with the European tourney final that got killed against Nitro.
  24. Nah, he was protecting him big time. I'm sure both guys would have loved some blood but HHH wasn't about to try and "accidentally " hardway Bryan.
