Comments that don't warrant a thread - Part 3
Johnny Sorrow replied to Loss's topic in Megathread archive
I like to go to Highspots and buy the download shoots they have that are cheap. They have a Fifi one, and everytime I see it there all I can think of is "Huh? Who'd watch that for free let alone 4 bucks?" -
Leading up to it though had one of my favorite bits ever. When Steph was kidnapped and being held somewhere in the building RAW was at, there's a match between Shamrock and Christian I think. Anyway, it ends with Shamrock having Christian in the anklelock screaming "WHERE IS SHE?". The lights go off for the Brood bloodbath deal, and when they come back on Shamrock is covered in "blood" but still has the anklelock on and he's screaming even louder, looking like a madman until Christian gives up where Steph is. It made Shamrock look like the baddest motherfucker alive.

So, the real life sports drama trumped the scripted show drama? SHOCKER! Dude, seriously? Are you channeling your inner Alverez? Why would you even compare the two? Besides, the best bit on RAW was Foley and Punk in the ring about midway through the show. Seeing Punk scared of The Ryback was just an "Awesome, that rules." moment. Edit: And I just found this on the youtube and I'm totally geeked http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UjtnK4GHbOc...feature=related It's a Pro Wrestling USA show that's almost exactly like the legendary one from the Meadowlands that the Apter mags hyped like crazy, the one where Blackwell wasn't allowed to wrestle. I read it's not the Meadowlands show but has anyone else known about this? edit: I just checked, this IS that card. Holy fuck I found my Holy Grail. Is Last Battle Of Atlanta far behind? -

The Foley I love returned tonight on RAW. That segment with Punk kicked ass. -

Settling in nicely to their new timeslot, Johnny & Bryan run down everything that was awesome about Raw and Smackdown and in the second hour, their producer Matt drops into talk about NXT. It's "The Passion Of The Orton" http://www.tnt-radio.net/archive/621-whata...n-of-the-orton/

The WHATAMANOOVER show with Will and Loss joining Bryan, Matt, and me is up now at http://www.tnt-radio.net/archive/610-whata...l-difficulties/ "It’s one of those rare occasions where the software doesn’t want to play ball, so Producer Matt has to scream at his PC. Play along with a WHATAMANOOVER! drinking game. Drink every time Goodhelmet Will says fuck. Even if it’s not a live fuck…"

I gotta be honest. I wasn't offended by the Bell's Palsy part of "Oklahoma", I was just offended by how stupid it all was. -
And on a base level, Taue was just a better bad guy.

which ep was this? It's not archived yet. I'm on our producer's back to get it posted ASAP. As soon as he does I'll post the link.

Oh God, please no. If I were to list all the problems with the current product, "the championships are too protected" and "the heels aren't neutered enough" are the last things I'd come up with. If you're the world champion, you should be able to squash Tyson Kidd like a bug. Yeah, at best it should be Kidd getting some offense and a miracle two count, ala a Sam Houston vs. Flair, and then just have Punk destroy him.

Killer fucking show.

Does Matt just tower over most of the ROH crew? I remember seeing him address the crowd at a JAPW show years back during his "I'm fired" Indy tour and he was just incredibly taller than most of the other wrestlers.

Don't ya think though, that if they wanted him to do suplexes and submission moves, he could easily do them on a basic level? That's not his role. Kofi flies around and does the same shit again and again and the little kids eat it up. Someone wrote somewhere once that "If they were 12 years old, Kofi Kingston would be my favorite wrestler.", and I totally get that. Hell, I've seen it at house shows over the years out here, the kids go crazy for the guy. But it's like I've said before, kid-friendly is not a synonym for infantile. You can fly around and entertain the kids without insulting the intelligence of adult viewers. Look at Rey Mysterio. Yeah, but they don't care about insulting the intelligence of adults as long as Kofi sells merch and kids love him. Rey is a unique case because he's one of the best ever, in my opinion.

Well, don't you know that there was no way HHH could possibly have been that upset because he helped screw Bret and apparently "held Owen down" ? It was obviously just an act.

HERE'S the show "Technical Difficulties" It’s one of those rare occasions where the software doesn’t want to play ball, so Producer Matt has to scream at his PC. Play along with a WHATAMANOOVER! drinking game. Drink every time Goodhelmet Will says fuck. Even if it’s not a live fuck… "Technical Difficulties" features Bryan and I going on about all things WWE and whatever pops in our heads in the first hour. Second hour we're joined by Goodhelmet Will and Loss to discuss the 1990 set and that year in general. http://www.tnt-radio.net/archive/610-whata...l-difficulties/

Dick Vitale died on the air about 20 years ago and no one has even noticed. It's a Weekend At Bernie's deal.

Check this out. In a huge marketing mistake...it only comes in small and medium. http://universalwrestling.com/mm5/merchant...gory_Code=MERCH -
Dogs drink out of the toilet. The proper telling of the joke is: "I lost my dog the other day." "Was he sick?" "No, the lid fell on his head." similar to: "My dog has no nose." "No nose? How does he smell?" "Awful."
