Turn in a fucking ballot Did I mention that I'm also lazy? And, I think I will this time after reading how you keep rankings. Whenever I tried to before by disc I'd end up all jumbled up. I like the method you use.

Is he really a perfect foil or just someone who happened to work the world's longest feud with him? How is he the perfect foil? What characteristics did he have? Boogie Woogie man is energetic, charismatic and exciting, Jones doesn't do much, has no charisma and is boring? Is that it? Jones is a straight laced stick in the mud who hates this wild long haired hippie. It's pretty simple. -
I gotta be honest. I've never sent on a ballot on any of the projects. I'm so appreciative of the work that goes into these sets that are so much fucking fun that I can't "ruin it" by dissecting and judging. I realize the point is to come up with a list, but by this point in it...it's taken on the role of "Holy Fuck, check out these dvd's!" and "Holy Fuck! I never knew (insert promotion here) was so great!/ "I haven't seen this stuff since I was 16...THIS IS AWESOME!"

I love Paul Jones because he was the perfect foil for Jimmy Valiant. -

I had read all the posts about how incredibly bad Micheals was before I saw it. I guess I was expecting him to be flipping around doing back bumps while holding his arm saying "The Pain, the pain! Woe is me!" like Dr. Smith from Lost In Space. So when I did see it I was like, "Well this isn't anywhere near as bad as people are saying." I forgot about Heyman, he was pretty shitty. -

I thought the JTG squash match was a lot of fun, and anyone who had been reading on Internet news knew a Ryback squash was going to come from a mile away upon seeing JTG. Nice for the WWE to send a message to those who feel they got ripped off. At least JTG had fun with it, yelling at the ref "Keep his eye away from me, I don't want to get pinkeye!" -

The entire Punk/ Cena/ Show Bryan match and all the storyline stuff that goes with it was fucking great on RAW tonight. It's some really well done old school Pro Wrestling. So was the YRJ/ Ziggler/ Miz stuff, come to think of it. I loved Sandow vs Christian, and the feud between Sandow and Brodus is also a pretty classic old school mid-card gimmick guys program. I thought the contract signing was well done, Ok, I just watched the HBK "over selling/ worst thing ever/ yada yada yada. thing and I'm not getting the outrage and scorn. I'm pretty sure that if a monster broke my arm I'd react even worse. He's supposed to be a retired and broken down guy. I'd say his reactions were more close to normal than "business exposing". If anything, HHH was the shitty actor in all this. -

I'm still watching RAW, and man...the crowd seems to have been wanting to cheer Jericho for some time given their reactions. And that triple threat was fucking good. -

Holy Shit, Roddy Piper seemed brain damaged on the Pit tonight. Jericho totally took over to save the segment. -
Holy Shit, dude...that's awesome.

A thread in which Dylan compares various wrestlers to HHH

I liked "old man DX" if just for the fact that they goofed on each other the whole time. To me it was like when me and my old running buddies get together for a Furthur show. I'm a sucker for "the old bad guy gang gets back together to get even with a powerful bad guy and then fuck up the young punks." -

By being obnoxious. Angle wearing Red, White, and Blue was just a nod to him being an Olympian. -

The UnAmericans never did anything offensive. In fact, it was very Canadian in how bland the approach was. There wasn't much more to it then "you know, we really don't care for you". If you're referring to Hassan, I think they were past the point of "kill him for amurika" heat and into "what the fuck are they thinking?" heat. They almost burned the flag on Raw. At MSG. Two weeks before the first anniversary of 9/11. And I recall Storm talking about how the crowds wanted to kill them in the parking garage or some shit like that. -

Even more odd considering they were never presented as fake brothers! They didn't in 85-86, but in 90 when Ole rejoined the Horsemen they did call them brothers. -
Isn't it basically the same thing he did with Jim Duggan? Taking badass brawlers and turning them into a kid-friendly comedy act? Again, the difference was making Duggan just a bit more kid friendly..and taking two guys who were known as bloody evil heels who'd tear your face off and eat it into friendly goofballs and make them more money then they ever saw before that.
