Exactly. That's what had me going "what the fuck?", not two heels heeling on Lawler in a segment he probably suggested.

I just thought about this video for the first time in years. George Thorogood doing Willie and The Hand Jive with some of the rasslin' thrown in. -
I do know some people who were wrestling fans as teens during the Attitude era who grew up and got into real fights, sure. But most UFC fans I know don't like it cause they got tired of wrestling. Most like it cause they're tired of boxing.

I'm watching Will's Dusty comp, and man...how fucking awesome was The James Boys ambushing the Midnight Express, and almost dragging/ hanging Cornette with a lariat around the neck from the back of their pick-up truck? "They's two great Outlaws who ride the range, and act strange..ALL THE TIME! Chasin' wimmen, drankin' booze, and RAISIN' HELL! THAT'S OUTLAW!" -
Shit, I'm backwards. I was stealing them online live in 2005, and now that the prices have gone up and the economy stinks I buy them. (I figure, shit. I like it and why not treat myself once a month to watch on a big screen TV and not a computer screen?)

I'd imagine one should also factor in the economic downturn over the same course of time.

And not to soon after that Muraco came back and was immediately put into a top program with Hogan. It was a work. They even had vignettes of Muraco laying around on the beach leading up to his return to emphasize his "laziness" and that he was a "Beach Bum." As I mentioned, it led to a return with a three shot MSG program with Hogan and house shows to go with it, then him and Steamboat in a big undercard program that was popular. Vince on TNT getting "upset at Muraco" was never "real". Nothing on TNT was ever "real" or any of that shit. Christ, they did all the "Fuji Vice", etc shit with Muraco ON TNT during all this.

Sloppy fourths.... awesome. There has to be a bit of alliteration to replace sloppy but I am struggling to find it. Filthy Fourths....Frothy Fourths...Hey Will, I'm yer man when it comes to gross jokes. -
What are you smoking? "At Home w/ Dr. D" is the best thing WWF has ever done.

Linda McMahon for Senate catch-all thread

On NBC just now they pretty much made fun of her. "Yes, McMahon. As in Vince McMahon" and some talking head said she was the co-creator of "World Wrestling." -

He's not turning her down because she's not offering. It's all a total lie on Vickie's part. I may hate this angle, but by God I'll explain it. Speaking of Vickie, on RAW tonight you saw her at her worst and at her best. The lines she's forced to recite in scripted shit like the opener w/ Cena are so bad, but she's trying. Then you have the bit with her and Vince that seemed a lot more "on the fly" and she's freaking great. -

It's because it's not true. Cena's a Boy Scout who doesn't tell a lie. -
Not me. After the Wargames with the Horsemen looking like bitches when Hennig turned, I quit and was far more entertained by Vince.

Or as Gordon Solie put it "He was all man and a yard wide."

That sucks. He was always one of my favorites. The only guy who's Russian leg sweep actually looked great. -
It was evil ref low blow, help hold Ryback down, and a fast count... The bought ref Tri-Fecta. And it was far better than that Nash stuff. And what's with the general hate of a finish like that? It's only been around, like, forever. People today go on so fondly about the evil twin Hebner when Andre beat Hogan, and that was incredibly stupid.

Ok, does anyone REALLY still think this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGmnQyWsqDQ "ruined" Goldberg in WWE?

I paid for it, and obviously I enjoyed it. Edit: I know I said never, but I just thought of one. When HonkeyTonk Man beat Steamboat for the IC title. I was 16 and it actually upset me and pissed me off.

1. I think he's due back soon. I'm with you wanting Henry to come back to take on Show. 2. I just think it's cause he stinks. He's taken a bump or two lately thanks to Kane and Bryan and the thinking is he'll end up being Rhodes Scholars manager. I'd guess he'll somehow be responsible when Rhodes Scholars do beat Bryan and Kane. 3. Ross has seemed like he's been having a blast to me. He doesn't have to totally contribute, and isn't the sharp guy who does play by play, but he sounds fine to me.

I thought that it was guys like JTG complaining about a shitty payday for doing the Axcess shit.

They do, it's NXT.

He did look like a cuddler then.

Nah, being on the show guarantees a PPV payoff. But l totally agree, like I mentioned before. It takes no effort to promo every match on the two go home shows and it just makes shows "feel" bigger. And personally, my little 2 year old nephew at one point looked at the TV and said "Rey?", which along with "Batman" are the two words I'm responsible for in his limited vocabulary, and I couldn't assure him Ray was gonna be on TV tonight until the match started.

Upset me? Ummm..never. If wrestling ever upset me I'd know it's time to check into the mental hospital. Disappoint me? Ah, I'd have to say Bryan losing at Mania in seconds. I understood it, but I wanted to see them tear it down at Mania like I knew they could and they did a month later.

I liked JBL just deciding to insert " It's two guys from HOF Families fighting over who's family's legacy is better" during Del Rio/ Orton. It actually helped, and I thought it was a hell of a match. Oh and Sin Cara almost having his neck broken was scary as fuck.
