  1. Head-on-a-pole Deathmatch...
  2. In a company that already has way too much titles that don't mean shit, yeah, they need this relic idea from the Attitude Era...
  3. Disagree. Making wins and losses matter make wins and losses matter, basically. See : All Japan in the 90's. Current New Japan. And actually, the most clean wins you do, the more DQ's and draws mean something when you do it once in a blue moon, and then those appear as special. Clean wins aren't the issue. Shitty 50/50 booking and not having any logical fallout from wins and losses are the issue.
  4. Watched only the women matches. Nikki Cross is the most annoying character on a decent worker in a long while. Half Bushwhackers Half Ultimate Warrior. It' was allright, although way too choreographed in spots. I mean, the ending was kinda stupid, with all the girls selling forever and Bayley popping up from nowhere. Why the other ones stayed down, they took the same bump ? I thought Lacey Evans did quite allright, all things considered. She's indeed really good as a character. Completely generic music theme though, it doesn't make her look different. The booking was at least conducive toward something a bit exciting, with Charlotte showing up and acting like a complete bitch, Becky being punched in the face before losing, then Bailey cashing in (although that part was typical drawn out bad WWE drama-acting that Shawn Micheals probably teaches at the PC). From what I saw in FF, Shane vs Miz looked godawful. Rey vs Joe is snakebit apparently. Elias is still losing time on overlong PPVs. And pretty soon, Undertaker vs Goldy, SOMEWHERE !! Lesnar ? LOL.
  5. Come on, they made those titles so much more important and heated than Sasha & Bailey, those babies...
  6. From the last two posts : these people have major psychological issues.
  7. As a worker, killed it in the G1 Climax last year. And they are going with new guys. They are gonna establish their own people. That's the right thing to do.
  8. Conrad : You should always buckle your seatbelt... JR : oh yeah absolutely (then goes on a whole tangent) Conrad : So. you should always buckle your seatbelt (proceeds with the PS add) Funny stuff.
  9. Sansa wins MITB. She cashes in immediately on Dany, who does the job on her way out. The end.
  10. And then basically admits it was a complete cop out and a way to cover their ass, which is refreshing. Yeah, this show is a clear cut winner thus far. Really curious about next week's edition, it's really an heavy topic.
  11. Angel de Oro & Niebla Roja vs Adam Brooks & Mecha Wolf 450 (from The Crash) at Arena Mexico from May 3rd is an easy MOTYC.
  12. My reaction to this season of Game of Thrones thus far : who booked this shit ? (then again, not a big fan at all anyway) "Interested" in watching Lacey Evans having an actual match, for the hell of it.
  13. Pro-wrestlers.
  14. They truly are awful, awful people. Yep. I mean, stories in every lines of entertainment have surfaced. Pro-wrestling, the seediest this side of porn ? Nah. Nothing.
  15. Support to the Troops takes quite the other kind of meaning here. Military raping women ? So unexpected... Yeah, this is fucking awful. "Not let one bad experience ruin the relationship between WWE and the US Military." The day Vince dies, I probably won't handle the crocodile tears very well... Fuck these people.
  16. Yeah, that what is bothering about the Moolah defense. Even if she had only pimped very few girls very few times, well, that would still makes her a piece of shit (like her husband, BTW).
  17. Hum... Apart from Plum Mariko, I don't know of one japanese female worker who ended up bad working their style, so that's really not a valid argument. Plus, Victoria talking about how Moolah had her take bumps day in day out after she broke her neck really tells you all you need to know about how she "cared" about her talent. Moolah was a shit worker and she taught her students her shitty style because that's all she knew, and that made women's wrestling look like a shitty side-show for ever instead of having a chance to evolve. I do think Luna used the "Moolah pimped me" line. But anyway, I thought the doc was way skewed in favor to Moolah in the end. She was, from all account, a terrible person (and a shit worker).
  18. Awww no, not this again... Ah ah ah. Got me. Nicely done. (although you could have mentioned he also owns a bunch of belts and robes) But yeah, anything heart related, especially at this age for a guy who lived as hard as Flair did, can't be "not serious". Hopefully better news are incoming.
  19. To dislike someone, you'd have to know who the fuck he was to begin with.
  20. Yep. "Hey, a member of his family told you it's not serious but it's a LIE !!! They are LYING !!!!" Da fuck ?
  21. You think it may be because.... he's dating Charlotte now ? Yeah, that sounds insane, but how these people "think" also is, so, why not.
  22. This is why I hate to see this thread upped. This sounds bad...
  23. Worrying about Earl taking bumps is the wrong kind of worry, honestly. He's 69. They have plenty other ref to take bumps if/when necessary. FWIW, Tiger Hattori is 73 and still refing in NJ. I doubt they'll ask Earl to grandstand and do awkward stuff. He's one of the few "mainstream" name.
  24. Hebner is a veteran referee, much like Ross is a veteran announcer & producer. No matter what you think of him as a ref, they need a few of those guys to work with the younger talent. And yeah, I very much doubt we'll see some Montreal bullshit from these guys. They know better.
  25. On last week's episode, during Tommy Dreamer (excellent might I add) promo, he mentioned Scarlett Bordeaux first appearance on TV was portraying Beulah's niece. Anybody remembers that and when did that happen ? That four way brawl was something to witness too. Loving the slow build toward a Tessa and Taya match with inverted dynamic. Tessa is such a great heel, but she comes off like a cool girl as a face too, so I have no issue with it. Apparently Madison will be the first roadblock for Taya, as they built her as a credible challenger. Also, RVD looked way better than during the Mania week. It's amazing the guy never altered his look at all. Same hair-style, same airbrushed singlet on black tights with black kickpads, same exact demeanor. He's 48 now. Damn, I feel old too.
