Exactly. Writing has kinda been cringeworthy but the segments have worked. Not all homeruns but they def. have been effective and entertaining. Steph and HHH have been good here

Shane turning on him seems like the obvious finish as I said when they announced Bryan was returning to the ring. Also sounds like he is not going to GM that much longer after that promo

Yep it's clear now that they kept the wheels spinning in the mud for so long because they were unsure if Bryan was going to be cleared or not. I'm sure this was the plan since at least the beginning of the year but they had to play the waiting game

For what it's worth Russo was very critical of Daniels in one of his shoots saying he focused too much on in ring and not enough on character. So I doubt he was fighting for him (there had been a report that Russo was a fan and wanted him to be revealed as the HP)
