It has been like that for at least six months. It is a sad, personal situation that wouldn't benefit anyone becoming public and likely irresolvable in the short/medium term. I don't believe it be anything that expressly badly reflects on either (post-Speaking Out etc). It is just a bad breakup of two friends. One of those life happens situations.

You can knock Nattie's in-ring and promos all day and/or be just TIRED of seeing her on TV in the same basic slot for nearly 15 years. But her social media dunks towards Ronda have been really funny and caustic. And ultimately always in the right. And overall you just can't shame a Hart. But Ronda didn't understand that and keeps making herself look worse.

Ronda won't get "it" and will never get "it" on a WWE TV level - angles, promos-wise. However, in her defence, her matches are almost always good and compelling. But social media-wise has been a real story the last two weeks. Nattie's Twitter replies have genuinely needled Ronda hard. Like when Becky tried to smack talk "Ronnie The Little Weirdo" on the platform. Ronda just showed all the emotional maturity of a toddler. Alvarez and Meltzer confirmed that Ronda wrote this promo. Nattie has followed me for YEARS but I got a very rare DM from her about it and when I said Ronda brought a gun to a knife fight here. Remember Ronda is the babyface here. The promo wasn't a counter to a heel but this weird evisceration of Nattie.

If you are Tony Khan you have to be secretly rooting for Forbidden Door be a 85k PPV rather than a 100k one or beyond. Rather than a crazy success that has fans and PPV companies clamouring for AEW to do monthly PPVs. Also running ROH full time let alone trying to revive a dead brand is a full-time, 24/7 job. Tony has scheduled another ROH PPV in a month's time. AND Tony has to navigate Fulham's promotion into English Premiership League and level up their squad this Summer so to insure they don't get relegated AGAIN. Abject insanity. A stomach ulcer at best, a heart attack/early grave at worst.

Forbidden Door still has great talent depth. The actual, active AEW roster list that appears next Wednesday on Dynamite and whose isn't out until 2023 is a much more worrisome issue. The last two weeks has lead to AEW going "WWE" and asking talent not to disclose their injuries and surgeries. However, I will say to Tony Khan's credit he hasn't false advertised anyone yet. But AEW's public list of injuries is the tip of the iceberg. Top line scene-wise Punk and Danielson is just the start. Dynamite next Wednesday will be a reshuffle/restart. But I've deep concerns if Tony is up to the challenge as he has more than displayed he has reached the traditional 3-year burnout point of any booker. And has overdosed on his booking tropes the last month specifically.

Watching it I likened it to Brock Lesnar vs John Cena (Extreme Rules 2012) in terms of a "live live" compelling main event up there with any other combat sport. He gave that match ****1/2 and I would go that for this too. NOT a full fiver.

As Deonna won it before Tony Khan was in negotiations to buy ROH. Deonna was the person that campaigned and died on the hill to the Sinclair/Joe Koff regime for an ROH Women's title years ago and before NXT. Deonna winning it at Final Battle was Sinclair/Joe Koff tying the knot and letting bygones be bygones. Expect Deonna and Chelsea Green to go after the tag titles in IMPACT.

You should never leave a Wrestling territory without having somewhere else lined up to go. I strongly assume both will end up in AEW. More concerned for Persia WHO BOUGHT A HOUSE last month while on a WWE sponsored US work visa where her job status was being re-evaluated every 12 weeks. In part I get why she did it - she was being used a lot on NXT and probably assumed she was being groomed for a call-up.

That's the thing among many things. I know there were a lot of "why is Wendy Choo no longer Mei Ying" and "why is Wendy Choo wearing a onesie" comments by fans. But Vince et al. visited NXT last year and looked the women there up and down and Mei Ying didn't get a main roster tryout like most and Xia Li did (a great main roster so far, huh?). A general rollback and to the 00s Vince regime that didn't see Gail Kim and Asian Women as "fuckable". Throwing two pies in Toni Storm's face on Smackdown AFTER achieving losing weight for her main roster run was a modern Piggie James "ribbing on the square" type deal. She obviously quit soon after.

Kenny WAS a big part of putting the deal together. A ECW One Night Stand/RVD type deal. There's SO much pressure on him to recover and wrestle.

There's a lot of AEW talent unhappy or "itchy". WWE is running stadiums more and more while the top of the card are in their 40s and beyond. While WWE's developmental is going back to the '00s a project that will fail but inevitably they will kiss enough frogs to find a Cena/Batista/Reigns somehow. A strong singles wrestler could really follow Cody's footsteps and cash in. FTR will have to battle against Vince's hatred of Southerners, tag teams and retribution against them leaving.

They decided a number of NXTers are being called up to Smackdown. This show is/will be heavy on "spoilers".

But he genuinely has zero charisma between his on-screen appearance at Wrestlemania, backstage interview below and from what I've been told by people outside of Pro Wrestling that have worked with him. On the latter, he's just so boring. You are waiting for the conversation to end as soon as it starts. A lot of young people get recruited into amateur Wrestling and do that solely in their formative years instead of building any social skills. And he seems to be one of those cases.

A good pretty boy, working tag team. I've zero idea what the payoff for the attack angle is other than them or a shocking MSK swerve.
