In his interview with PWInsider Jim Cornette said besides the Smokey Mountain history book he is doing (a la the Midnight Express book) he and Mark James are toying with the idea of a SMW Viewers Guide with all the format sheets of each TV show included.

Just for anyone who isn't convinced WWE sees him as a top guy. I think that's more evidence that anything they've done on TV. On your side goc but it was still just the "B" house show troupe too.

How often does Jerry wrestle now? When was his last one?

I assume most here haven't seen Christina Von Eerie drive barbecue skewers into Kimber Lee's head the previous CZW show:

I am going to be horribly vague and open ended here but has anyone here followed Bruce Mitchell's series of columns in the Torch about Bryan the past three weeks?
-
Bill Dundee this week. Rare to hear Bill being interviewed by a contemporary.
-
Bryan was also involved in that gross series of matches with Nigel McGuinness which involved full force head butting each other and other dangerous nonsense.
-
What does "confirmed" mean? Story on the front page of WO com where Dave says Bryan got a concussion? I assume that is sufficient for your needs. I don't think that's what confirmed means, no. That's what you would call a blind item or a rumor. PWInsider and Wrestling got confirmation from a WWE Spokesperson. However it remains unreported on WWE.com - a departure from the norm.

Will get round to listening but Steve is currently doing a reddit AMA here: http://www.reddit.com/r/SquaredCircle/comm...eve_corino_here

WWE Total Divas started filming again a few days ago too.

Scherer didn't seem to be worried if anything he was enthusiastic about. He talked about doing things like pushing archives of his Lariat newsletter and like linking to the issue of The Lariat to whatever ECW episode WWE puts up that week or whatever.

You guys got a nice shoutout on the OWSReview Youtube/Podcast show: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6FVmRekQs5k Around the 10:50 mark.

Let me try to ask this as clearly as possible. WWE digitised most of their library before they came to an agreement with World Wild Life fund. So will the WWE Network have the blurred scratch logo on footage at launch? Did WWE keep an unblurred copy of each show when they were digitising their library over the past decade or so? Or will they have to go through the process all over again? I do remember hearing somewhere that WWE only made a blurred logo digital transfers of shows.

PWInsider: Also Wade Keller said that he was of the belief the WWE talent contract only covered merchandise as in tangible/physical objects. So talent as it stands aren't entitled to Spotify type royalties rates.
-
Actually I do see a lot of WWE and UFC stuff that says Sky Sports. Matt D is right. The actual rough breakdown is streams and downloads of Raws and PPVs tend to come from Sky Sports in the UK. Smackdown comes from Sky Sports in Dubai or Australia as it airs first there.

Is Vince drunk here or just show his age in a way?

Devitt was always going to be a hard sell on this forum. With goodhelmet seeming spoiling for a fight about it or whatever I feel it would be an even more waste of time. W2BTD's last post is ultimately a good summation of him in terms of in ring. In terms of why he is very respected here is something from the latest Observer and the reason his match was "off" compared his previous matches with Ibushi: He looked very gaunt without the body paint on him the show the day after the Tokyo Dome. I don't agreed with Dave's rating it was more in the ***1/4-1/2 range for me.
-
I know things aren't as frosty towards Dave as they might of been 20 years ago but it was still nice to hear Steve Austin and John Cena perk up when they saw Dave on the audio the F4W site put up. Bryan Alvarez (38) continues to be Benjamin Button
-
I think he's asking a genuine question. If you don't want to take a swing at it, someone else might. Explain Devitt the in-ring worker. Why would I do that when all he has done is be difficult for whatever reason about my fairly basic point about Devitt's general standing in the industry? It doesn't really inspire me to go further the topic than I already have when something that is widely known or acknowledged is meant with such resistance or as W2BTD said goading.
-
Goodhelmet don't pretend you are unclear about what I said when I broke it down in detail the ways he is respected and by whom.

Great news. The less RSS feeds the better and hopefully the end of the Talkshoe related recording demons.

Is TNA the worst wrestling promotion in history?
rovert replied to Loss's topic in Megathread archive
Yup. As Meltzer says Eric is in the Hogan business not the Wrestling business. -
What Loss said. Maybe listen to Devitt's Art of Wrestling episode and Colt's comments about Fergal both before and after the interview itself, Will. Even as someone who makes really good money without being in WWE and TNA Colt is kind of blown away by the "thing" Fergal has going for himself pay/work/life balance, job stability, respect in the industry etc. To the degree Colt brought it up in other interviews.
