Generous and unexpected praise from Joey: One for the promotional material. Just occurred to me that thought out the process I never thought about Joey whether it be his inclusion in the doc or what he would think of it. I don't think he was brought up in any interview either. Somewhat odd when you think about it. He really has become WWE wallpaper I guess.

"Alan & Joe's Little Puro Dream!" seems to be the title. Just one of the streams of shows Alan does on the site. Links to the first two episodes. With the second being a free show: http://media001.f4wonline.com/dmdocuments/032113dks.mp3 http://media001.f4wonline.com/free/042513dks.mp3

Japanese Audio Wrestling - a spin off from the Live Audio Wrestling/Review A Wai podcasts. Fun show by two guys who live in Japan and typically attend the big New Japan shows. However they seem to convene weeks after those shows. Others behind the Observer paywall: Dave Meltzer has expanded his coverage of New Japan this year such as with yesterday's review of the New Japan iPPV. Adam Summer & Mike Sempervive have the Big Audio Nightmare. A site institution that has been hampered by real life responsibilities - work and kids so shows and have been less and less recently as well as their own Puro watching Alan4L & Joe Gagne's shows have recently attempted to fill the void that Big Audio Nightmare. Both together watch pretty much every promotion of name in Japan.

It was my personal opinion before he debuted on WWE TV he was a future WON Hall of Famer solely based on his work in the 00s. Since then he has become an amazing all singing and all dancing sports entertainer. I seen more than a few people compare his current Hell No phase to 1995-1997 Owen Hart too I guess in the sense he is being playful within his talents but can still deliver in the ring when the situation calls for it. I really do enjoy him seemingly modelling his current character after a cranky toddler who has just learnt the word "no."

BWC gets reviewed by the Review A Wai podcast http://fightnetwork.com/news/podcasts/ Direct download: http://www.podbean.com/podcast-download?b=...d-Wire-City.mp3 The hosts have made a few documentaries themselves for The Fight Network so an unique perspective offered here. Fun podcast series in general.

The fly episode was amazing. Too bad it isn't 30 years ago as Austin could be booking and calling the action in his own territory.

Dave could be on the spectrum given his near tunnel vision focus, how numerate he is etc. But he has too many friends and has expressed too much real life concern for people and those around them for me to think he has full on asbergers. Dave only ever talks over people when talking on Bryan's audio equipment. He barely ever does it when interviewed in person or on the LAW radio show every week,

You would guess the hotel or travel company got his name messed up over Europe on that one.

Dave is coming more from a live POV but he acknowledges that the internet is the internet when it comes to anonymous bile.

Isn't the publication's heyday but still super cool to see it be the headline of the Torch:

Have to say Bruce Mitchell's audio show on the Torch this morning fresh off Bruce flying to the première and doing the Q&A was really interesting. Bruce and Wade had their constructive criticisms of the documentary but they both highly praised it. Nice to hear them mention how much the film score compliments the film. Bruce and Wade cover the ongoing war of words with Dave Scherer of course but it was interesting to hear Bruce's account of how ECW fans and personnel in the audience didn't really get the message of the film in terms of ECW's human toll preferring to view the documentary as just another celebration of the promotion they loved as if they did do that they would feel they were less of a ECW fan.

Same dude who claimed and claimed and claimed he was retiring to become a paramedic. Davey being Davey until proven otherwise.

Yeah also Mick is doing stand up shows about his career and his brand new DVD opens with him saying "my story is happy story" while Nigel sold all his Wrestling DVDs in January.

When Nigel was describing the film I thought he was onto something thematically and obviously I wanted the scoop of want happened with WWE. But the aspects he left out have a lot to be desire as others have saud. Even if you weren't aware of the things not elaborated on it is hard to seamlessly tie together the story he is trying to tell. If you are aware of those things not elaborated on the more you think about his story the less it makes sense. Never even considered showing it to another casual/non-fan. When he is telling his version of his story the film doesn't pass the threshold of sympathy on an intellectual basis. You feel sad for him in a "ah buddy" way as he is so distraught but ultimately he makes a career choice to leave a profession he knew had limited employment opportunities stepping into it after taking excessive risks. This is hardly a Jason Becker getting Lou Gehrig's disease type story: The film came out around the same time as Nigel's. There's a deluded American Idol contestant vibe about him the film. What compelled him to go WWE seemed to go beyond what could be described as professional drive and onto something unhealthy and obsessive. My impression from listening to interviews is that in part he doesn't want to blame Wrestling or embarrass/upset his family by laying the whole story out here. Also I know Nigel didn't have his cosmetic advantages but if he had but if my life goal was WWE I take as less risks as possible never approaching it an extreme sport and I would work on my presentation and PR like Sheamus did. This is all coming from someone who SUFFERED through Sheamus's indy matches and attempted a million times to get off his manager's mailing list!

WWE warehouse is a wonderland but watching Mick walk is so, so depressing: I knew it wasn't going to be pretty but he is essentially Stu Hart now.

It is utterly brillant,

Brian Christopher still being Brian Christopher in 2013: That's one hell of a tolerance.
