Loss Posted December 21, 2010 Author Report Posted December 21, 2010 Pillman shows up at ringside during a Giant/Duggan match and wreaks havoc. Eric Bischoff leaves the announce booth to make sure he gets thrown out of the building.
Tim Evans Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 This was nuts and really well done. I liked how they barely even showed Pillman and Bischoff going down there was a nice touch.
shoe Posted February 2, 2011 Report Posted February 2, 2011 Blink and you'll miss it. Which kinda is the point. I thought the Mongo line afterwards I'm glad you took care of him, and Bischoff doesn't respond was a nice touch.
BackToBionic Posted January 8, 2013 Report Posted January 8, 2013 You can really see that WCW was willing to try new things at this time, which is nice.
El-P Posted January 18, 2014 Report Posted January 18, 2014 It would have been a nice touch if Pillman didn't leave WCW afterward. Or if it turned into an angle with ECW. As it is, it's nothing.
PeteF3 Posted January 7, 2015 Report Posted January 7, 2015 Two guys hold up banners shilling a Pillman 900 line, then Flyin' Brian himself gets into a confrontation with security. Bischoff leaves the booth to get him escorted out. Yep, hard to get excited over this now. At least Paul E. had a vision of where he wanted to take things. I don't think Bischoff and Sullivan did.
soup23 Posted February 13, 2015 Report Posted February 13, 2015 I thought this was cool and played with a nice edge of reality instead of bischoff shouting on commentary "WE KNOW WHO THIS IS".
dawho5 Posted November 18, 2024 Report Posted November 18, 2024 Interesting thing to try. Not sure I'm as high on it as the rest of the comments, but way better than the "bookerman" thing.
