Loss Posted January 3, 2011 Author Report Posted January 3, 2011 The first of quite a few Warrior ads around this time. In this one, a guy is working out while the announcer talks about unleashing the warrior inside of you, while a guy in a wheelchair works out. You don't realize he's in a wheelchair until the end of the commercial.
shoe Posted January 19, 2011 Report Posted January 19, 2011 This is in bad taste especially when you read in Bret Harts book about Warrior and the Make a Wish kid.
Kronos Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 Perhaps it's an attempt to escape from rumors of his being a jerk? Anyway, it's pretty silly. But it would have been worse if Warrior appeared at the end.
Death From Above Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 What's the Warrior/Make-A-Wish Kid story?
Kronos Posted April 5, 2011 Report Posted April 5, 2011 What's the Warrior/Make-A-Wish Kid story? IIRC, Bret writes about how there was this Wish kid backstage at some show, whose dream was to meet Warrior. UW, being the self-absorbed asshole he is (so says Bret), blew right past the kid -- taking no time at all to say hello or otherwise give him his wish for a short conversation.

Worse, I think Warrior said something like "Don't bother me with this kid. I'm getting ready for my fucking match."
Exposer Posted May 11, 2017 Report Posted May 11, 2017 Goofy commercial. These Warrior ads will be some of the last things we see or here of him before his third depature.
dawho5 Posted January 9 Report Posted January 9 Garbage. Not the idea that a guy in a wheelchair can still have fire and do well for himself. The fact that we are associating this with Warrior.
