Craig Johnson is clearing his throat, coughing, complaining about having a cold, etc., in some feeble attempt to play nise Lance Russell.

 

But we get THE VIPER, who in Craig's words "looks like a big green man" and "sounds like a gas leak".

 

You can hear someone laughing off camera.

 

Classic wrestling cheese.

I think this was the birth of Mike Davis' "crazy" gimmick that seemed to change every week. The scary thing is that it got weirder from here.

A young Randy Orton dressed as a bright green snake. This was quite comical.

I don't know why Craig had to have a cold. Then again, I don't know why an obviously intelligent, well-spoken man dresses up like a Ninja Turtle and lies under a bench to conduct an interview claiming that he's some sort of a snake. If I'd been on the crew for this mess, I'd have laughed my head off too.

This was pretty damn funny.  I liked Craig's reactions to the Viper and the banter between the two just as silly wrestling fun.
