Loss Posted July 23, 2011 Author Report Posted July 23, 2011 Crush says when he was a kid, his mom always made him mind his manners. They had stock footage in black of white. Were we supposed to think that was family footage?? Anyway, he says that since now he's a grown man, no one can make him mind his manners now. Well good for him I guess. Quote
Tim Evans Posted July 26, 2011 Report Posted July 26, 2011 I see Crush didn't have the accent at first? Pretty cheesy. Quote
Kevin Ridge Posted August 27, 2012 Report Posted August 27, 2012 Crush calling out Skinner and Repo Man was setting the bar pretty low though he did throw in Sid at the end. Quote
MikeCampbell Posted January 7, 2013 Report Posted January 7, 2013 His mom called him Crush? That's kinda odd. True as it may be that most adults don't mind their manners they that they tell their kids to, probably not a great idea to spread that message to the kids watching. Quote
WingedEagle Posted April 1, 2013 Report Posted April 1, 2013 Crush asks which heel will make him mind his manners now that he's all grown up. I absolutely despise these spots. They're embarrassingly bad. Quote
PeteF3 Posted July 20, 2013 Report Posted July 20, 2013 The edgy, adult WWF of late '91 is rapidly deteriorating. Quote
garretta Posted January 24, 2016 Report Posted January 24, 2016 This was funny in its own way. I only remember Crush a little, and that was when they decided to do the Hawaiian gimmick with him. Adams shows a decent amount of personality for forty seconds, and delivers the tagline about as well as possible. I didn't even know Keirn was still in the WWF. I think him calling out Repo was an inside joke, considering that they used to be tag team partners not so long ago. I would have liked to see Crush vs. Smash, whether they acknowledged that Smash and Repo were the same person or not. Quote
