Loss Posted August 10, 2011 Author Report Posted August 10, 2011 They have MADE IT TO THE BIG TIME of the NAWA -- Boston Bad Boy (Tony Rumble) and Tazmaniac, whose gimmick is pretty hilarious at this point.
Tim Evans Posted August 21, 2011 Report Posted August 21, 2011 I think Taz also had one match in USWA around this time. I always liked Tony Rumble and the Brotherhood.
shoe Posted September 16, 2011 Report Posted September 16, 2011 LMAO. This is just wow. This isn't the ECW Taz I know.
Kevin Ridge Posted September 16, 2012 Report Posted September 16, 2012 Taz was sporting John Tenta's Shark face paint. This was pretty funny seeing Taz like this.
Zenjo Posted September 18, 2012 Report Posted September 18, 2012 I can just imagine all the kids pestering their parents for a pet Tazmaniac. He was cute!
WingedEagle Posted July 10, 2013 Report Posted July 10, 2013 Tony Rumble delivers promo with Taz on a leash. Taz looks like a mini. Not exactly the human suplex machine from Red Hook.
PeteF3 Posted August 16, 2013 Report Posted August 16, 2013 They needed to invest in either a stepstool for Taz or a trench for Tony Rumble. BADNESS RULES US SUPREMELY--it sure does.
ajtroma Posted April 13, 2014 Report Posted April 13, 2014 At one point in IWCCW, there were two Tazmaniacs. Noga & Mako. Don't ask me which one was which. I don't know. Their theme music was "Breed" by Nirvana. I guess even in Cartoon Tazmania, they were into the grunge revolution.
garretta Posted March 7, 2016 Report Posted March 7, 2016 Rumble isn't too bad here, but if anyone had told me that the sawed-off runt with the facepaint would become one of the most over wrestlers in the sport by the end of the decade, I'd have laughed in their faces. He looks like something that even Vince would have sense enough to turn down. Is this the same Carolina-based outfit that guys like Ricky Steamboat and Robert Fuller wrestled in for about five minutes back in '90?
ajtroma Posted March 7, 2016 Report Posted March 7, 2016 No, this was an indy based out of Mt. Vernon, New York run by Tony Capone. It lasted six weeks on Sports Channel but did feature the return of (kind of) national TV of Craig DeGeorge, the debut of Joey Styles plus the Lightning Kid. It was perfectly okay.
dawho5 Posted February 28, 2021 Report Posted February 28, 2021 Screamy promo, badness flowing through veins, goofy early Taz....this kinda hurt, but had humor to it. I'm wondering if Tony Rumble and Ultimate Warrior could have cut intense but completely unintelligible promos on each other at any point in their careers. Would have at least been semi-entertaining.
