JazeUSA
Hogan was backstage but I'm thinking they are saving his return for a big stage. The World Class logo was not for the DVD but for the TV shows as it was listed with other TV shows. is there somewhere online i can see a list of everything theyre offering? im gonna be all in on this shit
Kevin Ridge
Yeah, DX sucked but their presence wasn't enough to hurt my excitement for new Network. Can't wait for it to start and I will definitely be making the 6 month commitment. Getting the monthly PPVS including WrestleMania is a no brainer. I love getting access to all the WWE/WCW/ECW PPVs. VOD is the highlight for me so I hope they go deep into the archives with footage. Also being able to watch stuff when I want will make me more open to watching NXT and checking out more of Raw and Smackdown.
Blehschmidt
I am expecting a huge TNA announcement where they reveal a dedicated Justin.tv channel to happen real soon.
Steven
Yeah, DX sucked but their presence wasn't enough to hurt my excitement for new Network. Funny how Cena and Austin had to dress up, but Shawn and Hunter got to act like asses in jeans and merchandise. Well, Austin looked like he just came from a beach wedding, but he was still dressed more formally than usual.
David
I don't mean to sound like a cynic, but if WrestleMania is on the Network permanently, doesn't that cheapen the event and make it feel more like "just another PPV?"
hammerva
This DX bit is literally the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen WWE do. Pays to be a McMahon because Jim Ross had the same issue trying to control a nuts Ric Flair and then got "fired" for it

PPVs are still being shown through traditional cable outlets. I haven't had it in years, but I recall Wrestlemania appearing on 24/7 on demand a few months after it's airing too. It all depends on how you promote it.
Matt D
What a "PPV" means now sort of changes in general.
hammerva
They used to have Wrestlemania about 3 or 4 months after the show but then changed it to show a year later on the month of WM. The idea of having 300 WWE, WCW, and ECW PPV available for access and a live "stream" for lack of a better term to boot is just awesome. And we still don't know how much TV shows will appear

hammerva
Plus if I heard right the international viewers don't get this stuff until maybe next year. The February 24th date is in the US only
Loss
but how can we rip this footage for top notch vq for future sets> This is not something to be discussed here. Steven
Honestly, I hope there's a way to avoid the HD side bars you get when viewing SD footage like ECW. It'd be nice to view that without having the giant WWE text on the side.

kjh
Bryan Alvarez @bryanalvarez 5m #WWENetwork will only be available in 6 month commitment cycles, no month to month option @WWE That doesn't sound like the greatest idea, but I can understand why they're doing it. Curious if it's a $60 payment of contractual commitment to 6 payments of $10 each. I'll try to find out.
Steven
The FAQ says: 2. How much will a subscription to WWE Network cost? A monthly subscription to WWE Network is $9.99 per month (plus tax where applicable) with a 6-month commitment. Seems contractual.
NintendoLogic
Either way, $60 for what they're offering is a bargain at twice the price. Hell, Wrestlemania alone costs more than that.

I wonder how the 6 month commitment will affect sign ups for people for the second time around. But it is cheaper than the price of two PPVs. hammerva
The six month agreement makes you think they waited until February to offset any losses in Wrestlemania PPV buys especially in the first year. You have to renew around the same time that you normally would pay $50 bucks for the show
