A woman with some amazing punches runs out of the crowd and starts beating up Savage. All the sudden we see the strut, and Flair takes off his wig. Ric Flair is one ugly woman. Hogan makes a quick save and Flair takes off. You'd think they could do more with Ric Flair in drag than a quick run-in. Flair exerts himself so much anytime he gets the chance to do something physical in an angle at this point that it's pretty obvious he's itching to have a match.

I enjoy Flair having a mental breakdown.:)

The match itself is *really* good. John Tenta has delivered big time since his arrival in WCW, and this is much better than his already good matches with Sting, which shows again Savage still had gas in the tank.

Flair in a dress. That's all that needs to be said. Oh, and Schiavone declaring that since this is Uncensored, the match will continue, moments before Gary Capetski announces a disqualification. Oh, that WCW quality control.

Was this the last match of Tenta as Avalanche? I thought it was right around this time Vince threatened lawsuit again and he had to switch to The Shark, which was an idiotic gimmick. Agreed that Tenta is superb in this WCW run, too bad he was buried under the Hulk Hogan Show featuring WCW...

This match was pretty good until the incomprehensibly stupid finish, which was bad enough to ruin the whole thing from me. From Flair in a dress (and full makeup and painted nails, why??) to the absolute stupidity of Savage somehow getting a DQ win on a PPV that explicitly has no DQs, it seriously goes to hell in the final minutes.

Perhaps contributing to the lawsuit was that WCW used practically the same thudding sound for "Avalanche's" theme music as WWF had for "Earthquake's."

Savage's introduction is a bit strange, as Cappetta reads the (very corny and unnecessary) lines "One of the most captivating stars in WCW history! Get ready for Macho Madness!" in the same tone as he does "weighing 240 pounds, from Sarasota Florida". The crowd pops big-time anyway. Savage was a nice grab no matter how much WCW tried to fuck him up.

I love the four guys in the front row who immediately know the "woman" is Flair and call him out/worship him for it, which he jaws back with them on. Then somebody in the second row holds up a sign that says "It's the best thing going today! Wooooooo!" Great stuff.

I'm too lazy to post a topic for it, but in the other half of this tag team rematch from SuperBrawl, Big Bubba gets a clean pinfall win over Sting, very surprising even with an "injury" to Sting's knee. They were scrambling to get back poor Bubba's heat after killing it in the past few months since Fall Brawl.

Randy Savage vs Avalanche - WCW Uncensored 1995

Aaaaahhhh the famous WCW has a PPV full of gimmick matches and this one is no DQ but ends in a DQ. Oh, WCW! I was kinda surprised it ended in a DQ as thought this was swan song of Kevin Sullivan’s faces of Fear giving way to Vader/Flair/AA as the main heels until Dungeon of Doom is formed. I think Savage gets his win on Saturday Night.

I am not the biggest Tenta fan and given this is a Randy Savage babyface match I knew he take the majority of the match and he still does nothing for me.

At least they didn’t go right to heat. Savage stuck and moved. Lots of cat and mouse. Avalanche missing charges and hitting hard objects or falling out the Ring. Savage leaping on him or sticking with jabs and clotheslines. Excellent psychology. Respecting the size difference. Avalanche is a problem for the Macho Man to solve.

He gets cocky tries to slam but collapses under the immense weight of Avalanche. Avalanche has a solid, very average heat segment. Lots of splashes, slams and even throws out a dropkick. The King of the Mountain is well done. Savage is throwing hope spots out. Trying to leap on the Big Man. Sunset Flip is ill-advised and leads to a nice sit down splash. Savage rolls out of the Earthquake Splash and again out of a middle rope splash. Looks like Big Elbow and go home but Avalanche powders. Savage hones in on him and nails him with a double axe handle. IT IS RIC FLAIR IN DRAG!!!! He kicks the shit out of Savage. Hogan saves and the NO DQ match is thrown out as a DQ. lol.

Before the finish it was *** but a DQ in a NO DQ match is too much even for me so this is sub-3. I thought Flair in Drag is BRILLIANT! It really shows how unhinged he has become in retirement. Anyways still not sold on Tenta, a fine match but nothing special.
