She has fond memories of Hogan Piper, warrior, etc. She's grown to like it again and will watch with me during some shows and most PPV's. She loves the atheticism and figuring out storylines and where they may be going. As a relatively new mom she always loves it when a wrestler pays attention to the little kids during entrances..she adores Rey. However, THAT match just had her getting squemish. She actually said, " This isn't right...Lesnar's using all that real stuff from ufc." as if she was watching a shoot mugging. And she's not an idiot, she just was aware she was watching alot of really stiff and hard to watch stuff. As the match ventured into more Pro Wrestling type stuff she calmed down, lol. Quote

Marty Posted May 2, 2012 Report Posted May 2, 2012 My wife grew into being a casual fan due to me being a fan. We didn't order the show, although I was considering it. However, she's like Johnny's roommate, in that she'll leave the room if it's something gruesome showing, like Eddy-JBL from JD04 or Magnum-Tully from Starrcade. So from what people have said about the Cena-Lesnar match, I doubt she could stick around for it. Quote
Log Posted May 2, 2012 Report Posted May 2, 2012 My wife isn't a fan at all, but she's really fun to watch with. She's fascinated with the Funkasauras to the point that she constantly sings his theme music. She can't get over the fact that Cena wears jorts. Just thinks it's hilarious. She also comes up with her own storylines for guys that are feuding. Like, "Oh. He doesn't like him because he wears tiny pants with a t-shirt and that makes the other dude uncomfortable." Quote

Sean Mooney had to do that in this (Terrific) Terry Taylor vs Tito match I saw the other day. At the beginning of the match he and Lord Alfred had no idea why they were wrestling. It was on the Grudge Matches CV, so they obviously needed to have a grudge. Then halfway through the match, he randomly says "This grudge started when Tito Santana's luggage got sent to the wrong locker room." Quote

flyonthewall2983 Posted May 14, 2012 Report Posted May 14, 2012 I watched Cena/Lesnar last night for the first time, and I'm kind of mortified/depressed that the two young Cena marks weren't bawling their eyes out seeing John get destroyed. Quote
Johnny Sorrow Posted May 17, 2012 Report Posted May 17, 2012 I just watched Bryan/ Sheamus again, and man...what a great fucking match. Quote
