Loss Posted November 5, 2012 Author Report Posted November 5, 2012 Bill Dundee used to enjoy it when John Wayne would shoot Youngblood's "kind" in the movies. This segues into a Dundee video to Duran Duran's "Wild Boys", which I think is a little older, but still awesome.
PeteF3 Posted November 10, 2012 Report Posted November 10, 2012 USWA, both cities = the Republican party of pro wrestling. If you're not white, to hell with you. Music video follows which is clearly some years old and repeats stuff from the "Gypsies on Parade" video, but with some great action.
soup23 Posted December 2, 2012 Report Posted December 2, 2012 Didn't think the music fit as well here as the earlier video but the clips were fun.
Kevin Ridge Posted January 18, 2013 Report Posted January 18, 2013 Dundee likes seeing John Wayne beat up those Indians. Dances With Dundee. Music Video to Wild Boys. Dundee beat some guy reversing an atomic drop.
Cox Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 Bill Dundee's promos contain at least one politically incorrect statement that would get wrestling thrown off TV if he said it today. Good music video. The good thing about the Texas branch of the USWA using guys like Dundee and Jarrett is that the Memphis side has so many of these videos laying around, it can't be hard to plug one in and show it when they need to hype a guy up.
garretta Posted December 17, 2014 Report Posted December 17, 2014 Not a bad promo from Dundee, considering that we're talking about the South from twenty-five years ago. It could have been a hell of a lot worse. When I think about "Wild Boys" in a wrestling context, I think of the hype video from the '85 Loser Leaves Town match at MSC between Lawler and Dundee, and I wouldn't be surprised if a great deal of the footage in this video came directly from that one.
drew wardlaw Posted January 27, 2016 Report Posted January 27, 2016 I've never heard this song before. It's Duran Duran? Doesn't quite sound like Simon LeBon. Not as good as Dundee driving around town though, but his dance was cool.
GSR Posted December 15, 2016 Report Posted December 15, 2016 Youngblood has got as much chance as beating him as his ancestors had of beating John Wayne! The music video is set to ‘Wild Boys’ by Duran Duran and features some of the same clips that are in the ‘Gypsies on Parade’ music video from earlier in the Yearbook. We see Dundee against Nick Bockwinkle, Koko Ware, the Fabulous Ones, against Lawler in the studio amongst others. All in ring actino in this, which I prefer, although needless to say the clips are at least several years old as is the norm for these Memphis videos.
dawho5 Posted February 13, 2017 Report Posted February 13, 2017 Loved the Dundee/Bock stuff in this video.
