The Horsemen announces that Sid Vicious has debuted as the newest member of the Four Horsemen. In a nice shirt, with kickass entrance music, with his size, with Woman at his side and rubbing shoulders with the Horsemen, Sid looks like the future of wrestling. It's a shame he has to waste his first promo telling Robocop he is going to crush him like a tin can. All of the Horsemen come out to show solidarity - Arn in a suit! Good stuff.

Sid was never a good fit for this group. I actually kind of like the comparison of RoboCop as being from the future as compared to Sid being the future, but...yeah. Still, the Horsemen are once again whole. Barry Windham is the personification of class with his dress shirt, tie, blue jeans, and leather jacket.

Glad that the surprise was actually Sid instead of the Scorpion as I originally feared. I think Sid fits well as the bodyguard type in the group and he looks really awesome here. Really one of the more menacing horseman lineups overall.

Sid's promo on RoboCop makes me sad that we never got a Sid/RoboCop match. C'mon WCW, you didn't need Peter Weller in the actual suit for the match! Put Mike Thor or somebody in there and nobody will ever know the difference.

The announcement of Sid comes off real well here with the crowd giving him shit and Sid playing it up. Of course his first promo with the group is on Robocop, a hilarious moment that transcends time. This will never get old.

I did notice that Flair refused to mention Robocop when he did his promo with Gordon Solie and Woman

I'll say this; the reveal was a much bigger deal than the end result. Sid really does look like the future of the business here, especially with the Horsemen behind him. He also sounds better than he would in the WWF, when he was too busy playing crazy to worry about actually being understood when he talked.

As for a better fit, the only possible one at that time was Tully, and that ship had sailed long ago. Out of who else was available, they couldn't have done much better.

Jim Cornette’s guests on the Slugger are the ‘leaders’ of the Four Horsemen, Ole Anderson and Ric Flair. Ole says that when you talk about wrestling you talk about the Four Horsemen. The people out here love the Horsemen and he doesn’t blame them (they don’t seem to be loving him here!). They bought back Arn Anderson, they bought back Barry Windham and everybody said what could possibly top that? Well when it comes to surprises there is nobody better than the Horsemen. They’ve got one more big announcement to make, one more addition to the Horsemen and they want to bring him out right now. Walking down the aisle and with Woman on his arm comes the newest addition to the Four Horsemen, Sid Vicious. Woman says that her manhunt is over and Vicious tells Robocop that he’s the man of the future and he’s going to crush him like a can. Ole calls out Arn and Windham to join them and the new Horsemen are all together.

Vicious’ debut and they have him cutting promos on Robocop? Jeez.

Anybody get the idea that Ole is able to seem so angry when he talks by channeling his rage at the whole Robocop thing? The guy has to be absolutely appalled by that whole deal.
