I've seen a lot of big fat guys or jacked up muscle guys in pro-wrestling. Everyone from Earthquake, One Man Gang & King Kong Bundy to Hulk Hogan, The Ultimate Warrior & The Warlord.

I have never seen anyone get as gassed as Ryback was tonight...and that's coming from someone that watched Davey Boy Smith! I thought he was going to pass out.

Man, I'm not feeling that Survivor Series main event at all.

John Cena, Erik Rowan, Dolph Ziggler, The Big Show & Ryback

- VS -

Seth Rollins, Luke Harper, Mark Henry, Rusev & Kane.

The "big surprise" was freakin' Erik Rowan? Can we replace Erik Rowan, The Big Show, Ryback, Mark Henry & Kane?

another confusing bit. Why did Steph try to blackmail Sheamus and Show when Henry and Rusev beat them up anyway? It made the promo pointless 10 minutes later

It's not confusing. She tries to blackmail them. When it doesn't work she books them in a match against each other, adding the title shot stip to ensure they beat the hell out of each other. Then she sends Henry and Rusev out to destroy them when they're weakened. Divide and conquer.

Terrrible RAW tonight though, book-ended by an awful Authority promo segment and an awful Authority & Cena promo to close things. They spend the whole show focusing on one match and one angle and it was dreadful and even with it being free I came away from this show less interested in Survivor Series. Kudos to them.

And Cena is the absolute worst babyface ever. He sits around backstage while his teammates get taken out one by one, never once does he try to help them, but he's happy to come out at the end of the night and cut a self-righteous promo filled with kindergarten level jokes. And then Dolph and Show and the other guys who team with him look like complete geeks for doing so. Why have Cena's back when he's never going to have yours?

I don't remember them turning down the offers though. I mean you know they weren't going to but it was never pointed out.

how were the matches? looks like a lot of on-paper good stuff on this show.

Nothing worth going out of your way to see

Harper-Ziggler was fine, but it was an angle where Ziggler was attacked and took a briefcase shot pre-match, then the whole match was him fighting from underneath and kicking out of some big offense from Harper before losing clean. Then post-match he gets curbstomped.....and is back out at the end of the show.....which just highlights how shitty and inconsistent their booking is

Sheamus-Show was pretty decent. Crowd was DEAD at the start after a dreadful Steph promo segment to set up the match (and it being the 2+ hour mark where crowds always die). They got the crowd somewhat into it with a lot of big bombs being thrown back and forth, and then it's a fuck finish where they get destroyed by Henry & Rusev

4 vs. 4 tag was fun and the best match of the show, but really just a warmup for the 4 way tag at Survivor. Mizdow was the most over guy on the entire show.......

After tonight and especially with the ending angle I'd be pretty shocked if the Authority don't win on Sunday. Plus with the announcers hammering home how it's the last time we'll see Stephanie and Hunter on Raw you know it's not happening. More likely another heel victory to end a WWE PPV.

Hunter and Steph have been in so many segments lately that they are sorta killing the crowds a bit. Neither is really getting the same reactions they did for most of the year. A break for their characters wouldn't hurt but I really don't see it.

I don't disagree with anything you said, but the Authority winning again would really push this close to "WCW never gets its win against the nWo" level.

As a massive Ryback fan, I completely agree.

I've a scary feeling that the Authority loses on Sunday, thanks in no small part to Rusev walking out on the team. Then, the next night on Raw, Rusev and Lana are doing their usual shtick, when Triple H comes out, says he's still got a wrestling contract and the two brawl, which leads to Trips being the first to pin Rusev. An Austin/Angle post-Survivor Series 2001 reset. That's my worst case scenario. Second worst case is the Authority just winning and things staying the same.

Without even doing 2 minutes of research I feel like the above comment has to be the overstatement of the century.

Perhaps I was exaggerating a little, but seeing HHH and Steph come out and bury the whole roster week after week, having babyfaces get beat up with no one coming out to save them is starting to look mighty familiar.

Yo-Yo's Roomie is actually from the future and he came back in time to warn us. Can we prevent this from happening in our timeline?

The reason why LCG is on next week is that he is starring in Jingle all the Way 2 which is a WWE film with Santino as costar and I expect him to be there too

I'm not a fan of the guest host concept, or Larry the Cable Guy, but his presence at least makes sense because of the movie.

The movie itself sounds like a baaaaaaaaaad idea, but it is what it is.
