hammerva
So it looks like they are setting up for a 3 or 4 team tag title match as well. Between this and the ladder match the battle royal this year is going to be awfully small. So what decade do you think that Undertaker promo was done in because it definitely wasn't recent. hammerva
Pittsburgh has been a terrible WWE crowd in the last 3 or 4 years. Granted I don't think they have had much to work with in these last 3 or 4 years
Matt D
Pretty much proof positive that the Rumble last year was people coming in from other places like they do for Mania.
hammerva
Once again it is the main event of a RAW and Roman Reigns is a complete after thought. At this rate the main event of Wrestlemania should be Rollins vs Orton
tim
the crowd was hot in the beginning. crowds usually are. wwe just kills them with boring shows where nothing matters.
Strummer
Yep Rollins is once again the main focus. Reigns left like a a half hour ago
PhilTLL
Geez, listen to the range compression on those crowd mics. I can hear every echoing word from those 3 guys. Is it in the TV contract that Raw has to be 3 live hours?

Jmare007
When did the "serious voice" for important segments and beatdowns replaced the hyped/exited demeanor? 2010?
tim
The crowd response to the WM main event is by far the thing I'm most interested in on the show.
Jmare007
The crowd response to the WM main event is by far the thing I'm most interested in on the show. Indeed. Do they go full troll/pro Brock or they just watch there in silence.
sek69
I think the WM crowd will probably just watch in silence (spun as being in awe by the announcers no doubt), and once it becomes apparent Reigns is winning then all bets are off. There should be a prop bet on the the post match "crowning of the next top guy" is met with just booing or full out nWo-era-shit-being-thrown. I guess the advantage at WM is the ring will probably be out of throwing range for most of the crowd.
Dylan Waco
If you consider the timing of the show relative to the Mania calendar, and the available talent roster, that may be the worst Raw of all time.
The Chief
I don't think at this point the crowds have the energy to rebel or boo or riot or whatever like last year. They're just numb to this shit and will react accordingly.
sek69
I do wonder, for the last couple years all we've heard is how Bryan can't be the next top star because he doesn't move the required metrics. Has Reigns been doing any better in that aspect? I wonder if a side by side comparison would show any difference between the two, I don't think house show attendance is up when Roman's on the card. Merch sales shouldn't be much different since he still has the same problem of 95% of the stuff for sale at live events being Cena stuff. When it all comes down to it, the only metric he seems to move is Vince's big man boner.
Russellmania
haven't the ratings in recent weeks been terrible?

Do they go full troll/pro Brock or they just watch there in silence. I'm predicting big pops for Brock spots, loud CM PUNK and DANIEL BRYAN cants while Reigns is on offense, and loud WE WANT ROLLINS chants as Reigns celebrates his win. jcmmnx
At this point Mania may just be 4 hours of the fans taking a shit on the product. I'm not sold on the crowd going nuts for Sting or Taker. In fact I think there's a good chance they prefer Wyatt in that match.
Russellmania
something that has been lost in the shuffle regarding Brock/Taker from last year is that before the 'shocking' finish, people seriously did not give a fuck about that match. the crowd was really dead, and that was an otherwise really energetic crowd. I think Bray/Taker will be met with similar apathy.
Jmare007
Is Brock booked for the next 2 RAWs? Not that anything comes off as shocking with their current booking but not having a faceoff with Reigns since January is fucking weird considering there isn't any momentum for that match. (BP)
They must be counting on people like me saying, "Wow this is bad. Better watch Mania to see how badly everyone shits on it." I guess I have to live with being part of the problem.

jcmmnx
Bray was really over with last year's Mania crowd. I suspect they are going to get behind the guys they want WWE to push, and I expect Bray to be one of those guys. I'm going on record saying Bray will be more over in that match, and Sting/HHH will be a no heat disaster if it goes past 15.
