Loss Posted April 1, 2013 Author Report Posted April 1, 2013 I'd be surprised if Robert Fuller has ever done a bad interview in his life. He's not as exaggerated as he normally is here, but I like him and Jarrett as a team. The USWA roster has some really strong depth right now, and they have a lot of young guys coming in over the coming months too. Quote
shoe Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 Fuller is such a strong promo. He is so good at carrying feuds with his promo skills. They do mesh well as a team. Quote
PeteF3 Posted April 9, 2013 Report Posted April 9, 2013 Jarrett and Fuller talk up their next opponents: Tex Salinger & the Master Blaster. Remains to be seen if that's Al Green or Mark Canterbury. This might be the first time I've heard Fuller talk in a normal voice. Quote
ajtroma Posted April 16, 2013 Report Posted April 16, 2013 Did whomever made these comps leave out the ensuing angle? It was fairly chaotic, with Tex and Blaster doing the plastic bag deal over Fuller's head. The locker room clears and Danny Davis even performed CPR on Fuller. The TV station was flooded with calls. Kevin Ridge Posted May 3, 2013 Report Posted May 3, 2013 Nice moment by Lawler for letting that fan on TV. Jeff is like the jockey who got on the stud horse and led them to win. Good stuff from Fuller. Quote
soup23 Posted July 27, 2013 Report Posted July 27, 2013 Good interview and I agree that the team of Jarrett/Fuller is a good one. Quote
garretta Posted May 27, 2015 Report Posted May 27, 2015 This was definitely a crowd-pleaser. I liked Lawler bringing the kid with Down's Syndrome out for some mic time, and the champions are humble but quietly confident, which is a real switch for Fuller. It suits him fine, though. I especially liked him talking about the other states within the Memphis loop; in a feud like this where two distinct areas are squaring off, it's tough to remember that there are fans of the USWA outside of those two states that may not necessarily have a real dog in the fight (though I suspect most of them are pulling for the Tennesseans regardless). It seems like Jeff and the Stud are taking care of most of the dead weight from the Texas side, which is a good thing. One question: What did Robert mean when he talked about "my Arabs"? I don't recall a Middle Eastern team being a part of the Stud Stable at any time. Quote
dawho5 Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 Robert Fuller as a promo has been one of the highlights of this set. Quote
