Mr Wrestling X Posted January 16, 2013 Report Posted January 16, 2013 Throwing this into the mix: Nash is by far the most interesting and personable wrestler I've talked to in the course of writing two books on the sport. I bet he is, That doesn't mean that he doesn't half talk some bullshit. Hell, I'd venture that there is truth to most of what he says, but he's distorted so much in the past, it's hard to figure out when he's being accurate. I do think that some part of Nash's "delusions" are a result of him playing a character for so long, and not being able to be candid as the man that is Kevin Nash (and not the wrestler).
flyonthewall2983 Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 I can't talk much shit about him at all, he actually helped my brother out of a tricky situation in Atlanta during WM a few years ago. Whatever opinion I have on his work, or indeed his opinions themselves are null and void in light of this.
MikeCampbell Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 I'm halfway through his youshoot, and despite the fact that he's almost always totally full of it, you can't deny that he's a really funny guy.
MikeCampbell Posted January 22, 2013 Report Posted January 22, 2013 And, in the youshoot, he talks about the Orndorff/Vader fight as though it happened right in front of him. Even though he was the WWF Champion at the time.
Cox Posted January 23, 2013 Report Posted January 23, 2013 That reminds me of something that Mick Foley wrote in his first book about Lex Luger checking to see if Ole Anderson had an erection after the first Vader/Cactus match...despite the fact that Luger was The Narcissist in the WWF at that point.
goc Posted January 23, 2013 Report Posted January 23, 2013 Listening to the Nash YouShoot while running around Skyrim this morning, man what a bunch of bullshit. The only tough question was someone calling him out on the Fingerpoke of Doom/Goldberg injury timeline and he pretty much just sidesteps it. At least an hour is wasted on Nash pretending to be a wine guru and teaching Sean how to pick up girls.
El-P Posted January 24, 2013 Report Posted January 24, 2013 Yeah, Kevin Nash is a rather funny guy, but he's not as funny as he thinks he is. Laughs too much out of his own jokes, which aren't always funny. But he's a smart guy. Completely full of shit though.

Not too keen on the more recent KC stuff, it seems that they are choosing people based on reputation and the "suggestion" that they will have some juicy tales to tell, rather than their willingness to be open and just...shoot, rather than trying to play a character and make things more interesting on the spot.
Johnny Sorrow Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 Y'know, I love Nash. The guy cracks me up. Considering that almost every wrestler out there is a bullshit artist, it cracks me up that there's a section of fans who just get so legit pissed at him for being a bullshit artist. And he plays off it to this day for his own shits and giggles. Anyway, by the time this video happened, I had pretty much stopped watching WCW so I never heard any of this. It's the Thunder that's the last day of Nash as a booker, and he just MST3K's the show from the announce table. It's some funny shit. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ymfJ6JFLL0
Loss Posted January 25, 2013 Author Report Posted January 25, 2013 It's so awesome that the highlights of this episode are posted. Nash was hilarious in this. Everyone should watch this.
Ditch Posted January 25, 2013 Report Posted January 25, 2013 Damn that channel is awesome. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FJunwXgyN6E http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VzHepZr2UUE
