Loss Posted July 26, 2013 Author Report Posted July 26, 2013 As great as the production was on those NWO segments, the production for the WCW guys was much less so. Giant talks against a backdrop of gray with neon stripes, which looks pretty 80s. It's a good promo, but I wish they would do more to make the babyfaces look cool. Decent promo from Giant though.
soup23 Posted July 31, 2013 Report Posted July 31, 2013 I agree with the backdrop but I thought this was a shockingly good promo from Giant at this point in time. Enjoy how Hogan cant be bothered to be at this show.
Kevin Ridge Posted August 10, 2013 Report Posted August 10, 2013 I do not think this is the right backdrop for this promo as it comes off as a poor NWO imitation. Giant is ready for his high school yearbook photo though.
El-P Posted May 7, 2014 Report Posted May 7, 2014 Pink neons. And not even GTA Vice City like neons (which wouldn't exactly fit the Giant either). Yeah. Not really a cool setting. Solid promo from the Giant.
PeteF3 Posted June 14, 2015 Report Posted June 14, 2015 Very Max Headroom setting, which is hardly befitting the Giant in 1997, despite the good promo.
KB8 Posted February 16, 2019 Report Posted February 16, 2019 The pinkish background here sort of reminded me of the Memphis studio during those earliest matches on the DVDVR 80s set. Thought Giant's promo was good and an effective way to further build Souled Out, so that's about all you can ask for.
dawho5 Posted June 10 Report Posted June 10 I was surprised at how good the promo was. I'll agree the production could have used some work. Were they trying to get the Giant over as a regular guy with that wardrobe choice?
