We start with a zoom in on one of their shoulders that looks like semen, but I think it's supposed to be vomit. Todd Pettengill is suitably grossed out.

I guess the Headbangers are not the sisters of love and know they vomit on themselves. This seemed like straight shock value and not up to snuff with most of the other Shotgun stuff.

This was such a good idea they decided to do it again with Droz. Poor guy.

Todd has the evil goatee at this point. This was still pretty disgusting.

I believe the mess on Thrasher's arm was a mix of candle wax and Mosh's milky vomit spray.

Because guys with piercings listening to metal sure love to throw up on each other and pour hot wax on themselves. Don't they ? Yes, they sure do. Vince was so out of touch and fascinated with crass stuff. It made the Head Bangers look cartoonier than they needed to be. Well, they were still better than Rad Radford.

I guess I get what this was supposed to accomplish, but...yeah. Kind of crazy that Jim Cornette seemed more in touch with '90s metal when he booked these guys in SMW (not to mention rap music with the Gangstas...)

Or maybe, just maybe, that was Rick Rubin in his hears.

I'm not sure when Rubin pulled out--he was definitely gone by the time the Headbangers showed up, though.

 

I don't know if he had any input on the Gangstas or if that was a case of Cornette telling New Jack, "keep it within FCC rules but otherwise be yourself."

This was disgusting. Pouring hot wax on your arm is weird, but vomiting in another's face & both laughing about it is just vile. Not fun to watch.

Well this sure was a thing. Pettengill's reaction is shared by many, I'd imagine.
