It's been fun while it has lasted, but DDP's luck has run out. Hall and Nash circle the ring and while DDP is distracted, Savage hits him from behind with a spray can. A fan jumps in the ring and gets his ass kicked. DDP gets spraypainted and Savage dons his NWO t-shirt. It's the beginning of what may be the feud of the year.

Savage sneak attack from behind looked really good and was the perfect starter to a feud that will continue throughout the year.

Taylor looks to be auditioning for the Truth Commission. DDP hits a TKO like Diamond Cutter. Hall and Nash out to go after DDP but Savage is the different as DDP turns his back on him. Should have bailed through the crowd when you had the chance.

Nice way to kickstart the second starmaker feud of the year behind Bret vs Austin. I gotta say Savage looked cool as hell in his black nWo outfit, made him fresh again as the loud Vegas look was clearly outdated by 96, and he hadn't been a heel since his Macho King days in 1991.

The NWO finally get one over on DDP, thanks to Randy Savage. Very good set-up to this feud, immediately giving Savage a main issue to fight over and a reason for the NWO to have him around.

I loved the Savage/Page feud from an in-ring perspective when I ran through it years ago so I'm pretty hyped to watch all of the extracurricular stuff this time around. Nice way to kick it off, with Savage being the first guy to really get the jump on Page after his resounding rejection of the nWo's offer to join.

What a great start to a feud.  I barely remember this stuff, so I'm very much looking forward to it.
