Loss
I think he fit in later, but right now, Savage seems out of place in the NWO. Hogan buries Piper's team and hypes Uncensored. Sting is with them, but is just staring and off in the corner the entire time.
soup23
The whole gang is out including Sting. Pretty standard promo stuff with Hogan burying Piper's team. I am again interested with the direction here as it does seem from March - late June there was some uncertainty besides continuing the Sting storyline and Macho vs. DDP. Kevin Ridge
Bischoff still grinning on TV even though he was suspended. I didn’t like the Savage addition as the group is loaded enough and now you have Sting hanging out with them too. He’s off to the side so obviously things aren’t right but I don’t get why he’s even there. Nice that even though he has the NWO colors he is not wearing one of their shirts. Don't see how Hogan can trust him.
El-P
What hurts Savage is that he doesn't even get to explain why he turned. He basically defers to Hogan. He also didn't seem to know what he wanted to say here. Sting with his blank stare in the corner was cool, his character really was intriguing. PeteF3
Hogan and Bischoff bury Dr. Schiller, pointing out that Bischoff has a business relationship with Ted Turner. Bischoff complains about his "predatory business practices," which HAD to be a shot at Vince. Hogan "shoots" (his words) on Piper's team. Savage underwhelms in his first real promo as an NWO member. Sort of a boilerplate NWO promo all around, the intrigue continuing to revolve around where Sting stands. At this point, the announcers are doing a solid job of believing Sting to be an NWO member without coming off as gullible idiots.
