Loss Posted August 11, 2013 Author Report Posted August 11, 2013 The interview is pretty quickly cut off by the NWO via satellite in black and white. Syxx trolling Flair is so awesome. I'm telling you, Flair should have embraced that. Nash announces the match at Slamboree will now be no DQ and no countout. Considering how they paid this off, this match was built up very, very well. Kevin Ridge Posted September 7, 2013 Report Posted September 7, 2013 Piper keeps harping on people making comments about his age and hip. Hall said “Hey Piper” about twenty times. Nash informs us match will be No DQ, No Countout. Quote
soup23 Posted October 26, 2013 Report Posted October 26, 2013 I have enjoyed this buildup and the insults from the NWO made one of these via satellite segments come off more organically than you would imagine. The ultimate ending to me honestly is Flair taking out Nash and laying out Syxx allowing Mysterio to win a belt from him. Quote
El-P Posted June 11, 2014 Report Posted June 11, 2014 The nWo is totally carrying this build-up, as I'm really tired of Piper at this point, Flair is not that good, and Kevin Green with these two just doesn't make much sense considering his history with Flair. He should have faced Mongo at the PPV. Quote
PeteF3 Posted September 20, 2015 Report Posted September 20, 2015 Greene is actually developing into an effective promo, but yes, it makes no sense for him to be teaming with Flair and feuding with Mongo. And even THAT could work if they make dissension between the babyfaces an issue, but they're completely glossing over that. The abbreviated nature of the show ensures that Flair and Piper get their stuff in and get out with a minimum of bullshit. The Wolfpack interrupt with some frat boy humor that makes for a fun contrast to their opponents. Quote
