Dylan Waco Posted October 27, 2013 Report Posted October 27, 2013 Damien Sandow v. Kofi Kingston Kofi had been far more tolerable since his return, as he throws fewer terrible strikes and he has a couple of really solid spots he works in. This was a pretty decent, albeit not particularly special, opener. Quote
Johnny Sorrow Posted October 27, 2013 Report Posted October 27, 2013 Renee in leather pants and Truth's conspiracy theories start the show well. Quote
tim Posted October 27, 2013 Report Posted October 27, 2013 Renee in leather pants and Truth's conspiracy theories start the show well. "bosom buddies" establishes a baseline 7 rating for this show Quote
Dylan Waco Posted October 28, 2013 Author Report Posted October 28, 2013 The Rhodes Brothers are fucking awesome, but I hate the remix theme. In fact it might be my least favorite theme ever Quote
hammerva Posted October 28, 2013 Report Posted October 28, 2013 The fact that Kaitlyn is a fan of snowballing makes this PPV hard to top So attractive but man not much upstairs Quote
KrisZ Posted October 28, 2013 Report Posted October 28, 2013 Hot damn that match was awesome....the superplex trainwreck on the floor was a spot of the year candidate Quote
Dylan Waco Posted October 28, 2013 Author Report Posted October 28, 2013 Triple Threat tag match was fun as hell. The managed to combine the key element I like in tags (I.E. a creative well worked heat section), with a slew of crazy highspots that all looked good. It is not often that this gimmick delivers for me, but this was actually a really fun three way and the way the drew out the Goldust hot tag was pretty awesome. Quote
Timbo Slice Posted October 28, 2013 Report Posted October 28, 2013 I can't believe I saw that spot on a WWE PPV. God damn. Awesome stuff. Match was great, but outside of a couple spots, I don't know why the Usos were in the match. Quote
Dylan Waco Posted October 28, 2013 Author Report Posted October 28, 2013 I'm glad the Usos were there. They have good highspots, they are over and it added a different element to the matches the Rhodes have been having with The Shield. I also thought the story of them being desperate to just get in was well worked and even managed to play a role in the finish in an intereseting way Quote
goodhelmet Posted October 28, 2013 Report Posted October 28, 2013 Shit, just got home. Did I miss the tag match? Quote
Johnny Sorrow Posted October 28, 2013 Report Posted October 28, 2013 That finish was fucking badass. Quote
tim Posted October 28, 2013 Report Posted October 28, 2013 Awesome match. So glad to see the Rhodes win, because it means we'll get more. The three way dynamic was used really well both in the homestretch and Goldust's FIP. And now we get to see Miz pretend to be tough. Quote
Dylan Waco Posted October 28, 2013 Author Report Posted October 28, 2013 Don't worry Will, you made it home in time for the Miz Quote
goodhelmet Posted October 28, 2013 Report Posted October 28, 2013 Well this is a tag team I can get behind... Miz and Kane. Two wrestlers I dislike enough to turn the channel on. At least it will be one match I can skip instead of two per show when these guys get in the ring. Quote
Dylan Waco Posted October 28, 2013 Author Report Posted October 28, 2013 What the hell is wrong with this company? Why would you open up with that match and then give us that segment followed by fucking Fandango? Quote
tigerpride Posted October 28, 2013 Report Posted October 28, 2013 Is Meltzer's live coverage paywalled for anyone else? Lame. Quote
tim Posted October 28, 2013 Report Posted October 28, 2013 why did new york have to get this gimmick over Quote
Dylan Waco Posted October 28, 2013 Author Report Posted October 28, 2013 This horrifyingly awful feces is going to anger me even more when Los Matadores v. Real Americans gets less than five minutes Quote
goodhelmet Posted October 28, 2013 Report Posted October 28, 2013 Oh Christ... I must be bad luck. The good stuff ended when I started watching the show. Quote
Timbo Slice Posted October 28, 2013 Report Posted October 28, 2013 Aaaaannnnnd back to Tim McCarver and Joe Buck. I'm choosing Joe Buck and Tim McCarver over this bullshit for the next five minutes. Quote
Guest Nell Santucci Posted October 28, 2013 Report Posted October 28, 2013 Is Meltzer's live coverage paywalled for anyone else? Lame. Yes. He's trying to force me to renew the membership. Quote
Dylan Waco Posted October 28, 2013 Author Report Posted October 28, 2013 That actually wasn't bad, but it was a complete waste of time. Absolutely no reason to run that match. Quote
goodhelmet Posted October 28, 2013 Report Posted October 28, 2013 Mixed Tag Match. - Fuck it. I wanted to see Summer Rae in the ring and Fandango ate Khali's offense as well as anyone. Not good but I didn't hate it. Quote
