Let's talk about Ishin-Gundan Team.

I have a gimmick coming in late July with a Canada vs US show working with another promotion. I would love to run a Canada vs Japan show in the future too, any interest? It would be a 5v5 series where Martel gets the win in the end to win things for Canada.

Joe Blanchard has asked me to inform the honorable head of New Japan Pro Wrestling Mr. Inoki that if at some point after August 31st he were to feel that one of New Japan's young lions would benefit from an extended stay of 6-8 weeks in Southwest Championship Wrestling under the watchful eye of Mr. Saito, they would have a very welcome home in San Antonio.

Joe would trust Mr. Inoki's judgment in this matter and accept anyone Mr. Inoki felt was a good fit with no questions asked and extreme gratitude.

Hey there, folks, your old pal Wally Karbo here. The AWA is pleased as punch to welcome our good friends from New Japan Pro Wrestling, the Ishin Gundan Team, for some shows in the middle of November. They send their warmest greetings and say they are looking forward to coming to America to ... errr ... demonstrate the inherent superiority of Japanese wrestling styles? Hmmm, that's a little aggressive. Anywhoodle, our Japanese guests will be facing top AWA talent in what we are sure will be some exciting matches. This is Wally Karbo saying, this is Wally Karbo.
